Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for May 28, 2016

Have two sites to credit for this one: Eyes on the Ring and Voices of Wrestling. Both sites are pretty good reads.

These matches were part of Night 2 of War of the Worlds 2016.

"The Last Real Man" Silas Young guests on commentary for the next match.

ACH beats Lio Rush. After the match, "The Last Real Man" Silas Young rushes into the ring and attacks ACH.

We see footage from The Addiction (Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian) vs. War Machine (Hanson and Rowe) for the ROH World Tag Team Champions at Night 1 of War of the Worlds.

The Addiction (Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian) show up. Christopher Daniels claims that everything is right in the world as they are once again ROH World Tag Team Champions of the World. They claim that they are better than basically every other tag team in ROH, and even go so far as to claim that they have never been beaten and that they are the undisputed, undefeated champions. Chris Sabin shows up and calls The Addiction "sad middle-aged douchebags" before making a male-pattern baldness joke and reminding them that The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) have beaten them twice as of late, and challenge them to a match for the tag team titles. Suddenly, Roppongi Vice (Trent Baretta and Rocky Romero) show up and say that you can't have a party without them. Trent Barretta calls Daniels "old," which gets Daniels mad, who accepts the challenge and says that if either team beats them, they get a shot at the tag team titles at Best in the World.

The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) beat The Addiction (Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian) and Roppongi Vice (Trent Barretta and Rocky Romero) in a three-way tag team match to earn a title shot against The Addiction at Best in the World.

Roderick Strong wants to know if he's offended Jay Briscoe, as every time Briscoe says his name, it sounds like he has. Strong says he should be the offended one, as he has carried this company for so long and Briscoe "ran back to the chicken farm and licked [his] wounds" when the company needed him most. He calls Briscoe a great tag team wrestler and a very mediocre singles wrestler, and he will remind him of that and the fact that he is the best to ever step in an ROH ring.

The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and Adam Cole talk about their Global Wars superkick party, and Cole welcomes ROH to their world. He says that they will break every rule and that there is nothing ROH can do to stop them, as they own ROH and the chaos has just begun.

BJ Whitmer will finally take on Steve Corino at Best in the World in a Fight Without Honor. The match is finally on after Whitmer filmed himself stalking Corino's wife.

We see highlights of Adam Cole joining The Bullet Club at Night 1 of War of the Worlds.

The Elite (Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Kenny "The Cleaner" Omega) beat Hiroshi Tanahasi, "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin and Yoshitatsu.

Next week: Jay Lethal vs. Donovan Dijak!
