Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for September 14, 2023

Claudio Castagnoli retains the ROH World Championship against Rocky "Azucar" Romero.

The Infantry ("The Captain" Shawn Dean and "Bad News and Tattoos" Carlie Bravo) and Willie Mack beat The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) and Kevin Ku in a six-man tag match.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews "All Ego" Ethan Page. Despite not having been in the company in years, Page calls Ring of Honor the perfect place for him right now, as he has let his ego take control of his career and he has not been wrestling as often and he has lost his competive edge after chasing titles and money. He says he does not know who he is anymore, but he knows what he is capable of, and he is here to prove it to the people as well as himself, and that starts tonight.

Mercedes Martinez beats Zoey Lynn with the Brass City Sleeper.

Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) beat Matt Brannigan and Cole Radrick.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Billie Starkz and hands her a "Minion To-Do List" that has to be completed within two weeks, doing this all on camera as proof to Athena that she handed the list off. Billie says that there is no way she can do everything, but Lexy tells her that if she does not do it, the results will not be great. Billie pulls off one of the tasks - producing a single banana - while Lexy hands her an "MIT Minion-In-Training" shirt.

Darius Martin beats "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels. After the Code of Honor post-match handshake, Daniels says to the camera "That's Ring of Honor right there...maybe I'm the past."

Shane Taylor beats Lee Johnson following the distraction from Lee Moriarty. After the match, Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty shake hands.

Willow Nightingale beats Lady Frost.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty. Shane Taylor says Lee Moriarty watched the captain take his rightful place at the front of the line, as he and Shane Taylor Promotions have been carrying the ROH brand for the last three years and he is sick and tired of coming here every day watching people say "Be humble" and "Pay your dues." He says he has been carrying the company on his back and everyone around him knows it, but he sick of chasing history and it is time he started making some. He then introduces Lee Moriarty as the newest member of Shane Taylor Promotions.

"The Technical Beast" Josh Woods beats Dominic Garrini.

"All Ego" Ethan Page beats Griff Garrison. Maria Kanellis-Bennett and Cole Karter are seen watching the match from the stage during the match.

The Workhorsemen (JD Drake and Anthony Henry) beat The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate).

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Griff Garrison. Garrison says he feels he has lost a step after being out with an injury for half of a year. Maria Kanellis-Bennett shows up with Cole Karter and says she hates to say "I told you so," then tells Garrison she told him so. She thinks that Garrison is really talented, but at the same time, sometime is is better to be surrounded by like-minded people. Cole Karter then points out Maria's pearl necklace, which leads to a thinly veiled sex reference.

Before the next match, "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese says Cleveland, Ohio is so disgustingly out of shape that LeBron James had to leave twice. Nese says he can look past all of the blubber, and since he is a far more superior athlete, he is the premier athlete that Cleveland can stand behind. He then leads the fans into some group training, but it is interrupted by AR Fox.

AR Fox beats "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese.

Here are the highlights from tonight's show!
