205:Alive - 205 Live recap for October 10, 2018

Lio Rush shows up to start tonight's show. Lio Rush says this is his time, and at any moment, anybody could become famous. He says the fans may be used to fast cars going around a fast track, but there is nobody faster than him. He then gives an opportunity of a lifetime to anyone who wants to prove him wrong, and tells his potential opponent to come correct, because he came to collect. The challenge is answered by Lince Dorado.

Lio Rush vs. Lince Dorado ends with Maria Kanellis showing up on the stage and Mike Kanellis suddenly showing up on the apron. Mike Kanellis proceeds to decimate Dorado.

We hear from Buddy Murphy, who says he proved you can't stop the unstoppable when he became Cruiserweight Champion on Saturday. He will not be here tonight, as he is spending time at home because the champ does what he wants, when he wants. Murphy says he will return when he is ready.

Mustafa Ali meets with Cedric Alexander, and talks about his match with Hideo Itami in a Falls Count Anywhere Match in two weeks. Cedric wishes Ali luck, then Ali asks Cedric about his match against "The Premiere Athlete" Tony Nese, asking him if he may be coming back too soon. Cedric addresses Ali's concerns that he is coming back too soon by saying he is doing what he has to do to get back the Cruiserweight title, starting with tonight.

We hear from Drew Gulak and "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher. He says a dissolving partnership can be tough to deal with, but they did what they had to do with The Brian Kendrick. Gallagher says it was difficult, but necessary. Gallagher said that while he and Kendrick were scoundrels, Kendrick was too sentimental. Gulak says this is a weakness, and regrets that he did not deal with this sooner. Next week, they will take out Akira Tozawa. He says their message is clear and their constitutions are committed, and that nothing will stand in their way of a better 205 Live.

"The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese beats Cedric Alexander after grabbing onto the ropes to counter the Lumbar Check, giving him his biggest win in WWE so far.
