Generation NXT - NXT recap for October 24, 2018

In footage from earlier today, General Manager William Regal asks security to make sure Aleister Black sees him before he enters the arena.

The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong) show up to start tonight's show. Adam Cole announces that Bobby Fish is back and that The Undisputed Era is now at 100%, and says this is a warning for the NXT locker room. He tells anyone to ask War Raiders about what happened last week in case they don't believe them. He also says that if anyone else wants to get in their way, they will make short work of them like they have everyone else, as they will soon make everyone fear NXT as they are NXT, not the fans. Cole then addresses Ricochet, and says he beat Pete Dunne and not him for the North American title. Before he can say much else to Ricochet, Ethan Carter III shows up. EC3 imparts knowledge to Cole, telling him he does not deserve a rematch for the title, but Cole says it is not a smart idea to mess with The Undisputed Era. EC3 says Cole did not win, but that it doesn't matter if they are 100%, as he is the top one percent. Cole immediately challenges EC3 to a match in the ring to make an example out of him, and calls for a referee. EC3 is game for a wrestling match, and a wrestling match begins.

Ethan Carter III beats Adam Cole with a surprise schoolboy pin despite the distraction from the rest of The Undisputed Era (Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong). After the match, The Undisputed Era gang up on EC3, and Adam Cole hits EC3 with a running knee to the back of the head on the stage. Just when The Undisputed Era is about to leave, Bobby Fish grabs a steel chair and smashes it into EC3's knee.

Outside of the arena, Nikki Cross approaches security, repeatedly saying "He's coming."

Mia Yim beats Aliyah in her NXT debut.

Bianca Belair demands a title shot from General Manager William Regal, then Cathy Kelley interviews Regal. Regal says he does not know the name that Nikki Cross gave to Aleister Black. Meanwhile, The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong) show up and tell Regal to get his act together and stop EC3 from running around. Regal tells them to get their act together instead, and that they will be facing War Machine again next week.

NXT looks back on Roman Reigns' announcement about the return of his leukemia on Raw.

We see a video package for Lacey Evans.

Kassius Ohno beats Justin Xavier. After the match, Nikki Cross shows up and points and laughs at Kassius Ohno from the stage, saying "He's coming."

We get our first look at NXT's newest signee, Matt Riddle, who debuts next week.

General Manager William Regal is in the ring. As he is about to announce who Tommaso Ciampa will defend the NXT Championship against at NXT TakeOver: War Games 2018, Ciampa shows up. He tells Regal to wipe the smug look off his face and not to stare at his title, and tells him to make his announcement. Before Regal can even speak, Velveteen Dream shows up. Dream says the people want an experience at War Games, not a bunch of complaining, and he wants Regal to say his name. Suddenly, Lars Sullivan shows up. Sullivan tells everyone to be mindful where they are, as they are all standing in Lars Sullivan territory. He tells Velveteen Dream to move, as he is NXT's worst nightmare and the NXT Championship belongs to him. Dream understands that Sullivan considers himself a nightmare, then tells him to wear pants before getting in his ring. Sullivan responds by grabbing Velveteen Dream by the throat. Suddenly, Nikki Cross shows up saying "He's coming!" Aleister Black is then seen outside of the arena, laying out security and knocking down a cameraman before hitting Black Mass on Sullivan and demanding Regal telling him where his attacker is. Suddenly, Aleister is attacked from behind...by Johnny Gargano, who tells him "I'm right here!"
