Evolution - The LIVE Results

Nita Strauss and Lzzy Hale perform for the start of the show.

Before the next match, Alexa Bliss shows up. She says that tonight is going to be an amazing night, then says it is way past Trish Stratus and Lita's bedtimes before telling Trish and Lita to turn their hearing aids up as she introduces Alicia Fox and Mickie James. (Alexa Bliss was supposed to be in the match, but was unable to compete due to a recent concussion three days prior to the event.)

Trish Stratus and Lita beat Alicia Fox and Mickie James.

Backstage, The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) say that Ronda Rousey made it personal by mentioning Nikki's love life, and that they plan to celebrate someone who inspired them by dedicating their match to Ronda Rousey's mother. Nikki says that Ronda's mom feels heartbreak every time Ronda breaks her word, and that she is now an honorary member of the Bella Army. She also says that the only thing ending is Ronda's reign as WWE Raw Women's Champion.

We hear from members of both Raw and SmackDown Live's women's divisions who talk about what Evolution means to them.

Jimmy Uso, R-Truth, Mike Kanellis (and his and Maria's new baby), The Miz and Maryse are all seen on the front row before the next match.

Before the next match, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce make fun of the fact that Evolution is taking place in Long Island, New York and make fun of the local accent before giving credit to the legends in the ring before bragging they will all lose to them. Not surprisingly, they end up being the first two women eliminated.

Nia Jax wins the 20-woman battle royal, last eliminating Ember Moon, to earn a future shot at the WWE Raw Women's Championship. After the match, Charly Caruso interviews Nia Jax, who says she is fortunate to share the ring with some great talent, and says this is for her and her family and that she is happy to be one step closer to the Raw Women's title again. When asked who she would rather face for the Raw Women's title between "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey and Nikki Bella, Nia simply says that whoever wins the title tonight had better enjoy it, for it will not last long.

The full entrant list, in order of ring introduction, is as follows:

We see an advertisement for Girl Up, then see some participants in the program in the crowd.

It is mentioned that NXT referee Jessica Carr is the referee for the next match. Rhea Ripley, Tegan Nox, Taynara Conti and Meiko Satormua are seen in the front row before the match.

Toni Storm beats Io Shirai to win the 2018 Mae Young Classic. After the match, both women are congratulated by WWE COO Triple H, Raw Commisioner Stephanie McMahon and WWE Performance Center trainer Sara Amato.

We hear from WWE women's wrestlers, both past and present, who talk about what Evolution means to them.

Finn Balor is seen in the crowd before the next match.

Sasha Banks, Bayley and Natalya beat The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan).

We hear from even more WWE women's wrestlers, both past and present, who talk about what Evolution means to them.

Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir are seen in the front row before the next match.

"The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler beats Kairi Sane with the Kirafuda Clutch to become the NXT Women's Champion after interference by Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir - in response to Kairi back body dropping Baszler into them at the front row - that is not caught by referee Jessica Carr. With this win, Baszler is the first two-time NXT Women's Champion in NXT history. After the match, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir head up the ramp to the back with Baszler.

We hear from some more women in WWE what Evolution means to them.

Becky Lynch retains the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship against Charlotte Flair in a destructive and well-received Last Man Standing Match following a powerbomb through a table to counter a top rope moonsault. Referees have to tend to Charlotte after the match.

"Rowdy" Ronda Rousey retains the WWE Raw Women's Championship against Nikki Bella. After the match, Nia Jax is seen watching Ronda Rousey go up the ramp on a television screen backstage.
