Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for November 11, 1999

D-Generation X (Triple H, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) show up to start tonight's show. Triple H says that as promised, DX is on top of the world. Now that he thinks about it, Raw was not the only thing they were on top of, and we see the closing moments of Raw. DX mocks Stephanie, and Road Dogg pulls the dress that WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon was wearing out from behind his tag team belt. Triple H then says it was not Stephanie who was wearing the dress, but really some random student from Penn State who got the time of her life by getting up close and personal with Billy Gunn. He then syas that he knows Arnold Schwarzenegger is going to be here and that he is one hell of an actor, then says that was some good acting. Gunn then says she wasn't acting as she may have punctured one of her lungs. Triple H then says that Monday night showed what DX was capable of, and at Survivor Series, he will be the most capable man in the World Wrestling Federation. He knows that they are a lot of problems and mistakes being made, but he does not make mistakes. He says he does not care if he has to go through "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, The Rock or WWF Chairman and special guest referee Vince McMahon, as he will walk out of Survivor Series as WWF Champion because he is that damn good. Triple H then tells Vince he has seen what he is capable of, and if he wants to stand face-to-face with him and get in DX's way, he should know that Stephanie will be wearing that red dress any time they want her too. They then get Vince's face on the TitanTron again, but then it starts to move, and we see that a camera is trained on Vince backstage. Vince shows up and says there are a lot of things he could do about what DX pulled on Monday, with one of them being firing all of them on the spot. He says he could also go back to the locker room, get an equalizer, and leave them all a bloody mess. Instead, he will have his fun at Survivor Series as the special guest referee just like DX had their fun, and as far as tonight is concerned, there will be an eight-man tag team elimination match-up where DX squares off against WWF co-owner Shane McMahon, Test, Kane and The Rock. He also mentions that there will be a special guest enforcer in that match in the form of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Vince leaves, and Triple H says if he wants to play oneupsmanship, that's fine. He can make this threats, but when he sees Stephanie's face and sees her smiling, he should be asking if she is smiling because Test is awful in bed, or if she is thinking about what Stephanie could do to her in bed. Test runs in, and he immediately gets ganged up on by DX. Vince returns, and holds Test - who is busted open - back as Triple H tells Vince to go back to the back before they do the same to him.

We see the site of Big Show's father's funeral as it is announced that footage of the funeral from earlier today will be shown later on.

Kurt Angle is coming soon to the World Wrestling Federation!

WWF Chairman Vince McMahon, Gerald Brisco and Patterson are in the parking lot. Vince says Arnold Schwarzenegger will not miss this show for anything in the world.

We see footage from earlier today of the pallbearers carrying the coffin of Big Show's father to the final resting place.

Before the next match, Val Venis tells Al Snow the most pathetic thing he has ever seen is that after 17 years of him performing in this business, his only claim to fame is that he got his action figure jerked off the shelves at "a second-rate K-Mart." He finds it absolutely appalling that he treats women like objects, which is his gimmick.

Val Venis beats The British Bulldog by disqualification. During the match, The Mean Street Posse (Rodney, Pete Gas, Joey Abs) attack Val Venis, then "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry, "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman and Gangrel run in to make the save for Val Venis, starting a four-on-four brawl that referees have to break up.

Arnold Schwarzenegger meets The Rock backstage.

We see footage from earlier today where Big Show speaks for his father when The Big Boss Man shows up with an old police car from the 1970s with a loudspeaker connected to the top of it. The Big Boss Man tells Big Show his dad is not coming back, and asks his mother if he wants to go out with a man like him now that her husband is dead. Big Show tries to get on top of the car but is pushed off, and and as everyone checks on Big Show, Boss Man chains Big Show's father's coffin to the back bumper of his car and drives off with it. Big Show tries to grab on to the coffin, but he eventually falls off.

Before the next match, The Big Boss Man apologizes for being late, as he was at a funeral he was obliged to attend. He then says it does not matter what partners Big Show gets, as the chances of him winning are as stiff as his dad. Faarooq shows up and says that if Boss Man thinks what he did to Big Show's father was sadistic and cruel, then it will be really sadistic and cruel when he shoves the WWF Hardcore Championship up his ass.

The Big Boss Man beats Faarooq after Prince Albert sprays mace into Faarooq's eyes. After the match,

Kevin Kelly interviews Chyna and Miss Kitty. Chyna says Chris Jericho has "Va-Chyna envy," as she is bigger, faster and stronger than he is, and says he will never be champion. This Sunday at Survivor Series, she plans to give Jericho an equal opportunity ass kicking.

We see footage from during the break where Chris Jericho attacks Chyna after the interview and tosses tampons and feminine pads at her.

EMTs help Chyna - who is now busted open after the attack from Chris Jericho - backstage. Chyna says that Jericho does not know what he has started.

Chris Jericho shows up. He says what he did to Chyna backstage was a warning, and he feels horrible that he had to do that and that it hurt him a lot more than it hurt Chyna. However, he had to stop her mockery of this sport and its credibility, as well as her mocking of Chris Jericho, and says the only reason she has the Intercontinental Championship and is in the WWF is that she is a great promotional tool and a source of inspiration for women, children and idiots across the nation. Jericho says she is the example of anything happening in the WWF, but it is the biggest load of bullcrap he has ever heard in his life and the joke stops right here, right now. If Chyna does not surrender the WWF Intercontinental Championship to him at Survivor Series, he will have no choice but to end her career and prove that he is better than her. He warns Chyna not to show up at Survivor Series.

WWF co-owner Shane McMahon, Test, Kane and The Rock are ready to lay the smack down on D-Generation X (Triple H, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) tonight.

D-Generation X (Triple H, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) is seen watching from backstage. Arnold is awarded with the WWF Championship over Vince's shoulder for being "the undisputed box-office heavyweight champion." Arnold thanks Vince, and thanks all of the fans for the reception tonight, and says he is glad to be here. He then thanks Vince, telling him he is building an empire, and tells everyone to go see End of Days. Backstage, D-Generation X is irritated, especially Triple H.

D-Generation X (Triple H, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) attack a random guy backstage, thinking he is Arnold Schwarzenegger. They stop when they realize it is not him, then go back to beating him up after a few seconds.

The match ends in a no-contest when Mae Young and The Fabulous Moolah get in the ring and attack Ivory, and this quickly turns into a brawl all over the ring involving all the women who are there.

Shane McMahon, Kane and The Rock beat D-Generation X (Triple H, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) in a 4-on-3 elimination handicap match with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin as the special guest enforcer. X-Pac and Kane eliminate each other by count-out when they fight each other outside of the ring. Shane McMahon is eliminated following a Fameasser from Billy Gunn. Afterwards, Test finally shows up, making the match 3-on-2 again and making it a fully-fledged eight-man Survivor Series Elimination Match. Billy Gunn gets disqualified by referee Earl Hebner after hitting Test in the back with a steel chair from ringside. "Road Dogg" Jesse James is eliminated after a Rock Bottom by The Rock. Later on in the match, Triple H knocks out referee Earl Hebner, and Austin tries to hit Triple H with a steel chair only for Triple H to duck and for Austin to hit The Rock instead. Arnold Schwarzenegger hands Austin a chair, and this time Austin his Triple H. Test pins Triple H and Austin makes the three-count, giving The Rock and Test the win. After the match, Triple H tries to swing at Arnold, but Arnold dodges and immediately backhands Triple H and hits him with a few right hands before Austin does the rest of the work. The show ends with Arnold and Austin having a beer together in the ring.
