Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for November 4, 1999

D-Generation X (Triple H, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) watch the things they did and laugh about it while bragging about everything and trash-talking their opposition. Some footage of lions in sexual intercourse is unintentionally part of the clip show. When they get to the part where Jim Ross called WWF Chairman Vince McMahon hitting WWF co-owner Shane McMahon with the WWF Championship by saying he hoped that was accidental, Triple H says "He's gettin' smart."

Mankind and Al Snow beat The Hollys (Hardcore and Crash Holly) to become the WWF Tag Team Champions! Val Venis is seen watching the match on a monitor backstage. Before the match starts, it is announced that Sabrena Parton, a professor at Kennesaw State University, complained that Head was a "decapitated woman's head" that sent an inappropriate message about violence towards women and "is a gruesome toy that sends a bad message to kids" in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in a horribly un-researched and misinformed rant. Parton was quoted as saying "What kind of message would this toy send children about brutalization of women?" The article goes on to ask if playing with a "woman's severed head serves as a training manual for future spousal abusers" and states that "the most obvious conclusion is that the package contains a female victim who did not survive her encounter with the muscled figures who surround her." Because of the backlash, Wal-Mart has pulled the action figure from store shelves.

Jim Ross is seen talking to "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Austin talks about how Jim Ross called WWF Chairman Vince McMahon hitting WWF co-owner Shane McMahon with the WWF Championship by saying he hoped that was accidental. Jim Ross says he spoke too soon and that he was thinking back to the Vince of old, saying that a lot of things the old Vince did were not coincidental. Austin accepts his apology.

Al Snow and Mankind celebrate their tag team title victory with the rest of the tag team division. They may not champagne, but they have whole milk. Mankind leaves the locker room, saying he has business he has to finish.

It is announced that the wedding of Test and WWF co-owner Stephanie McMahon will be on Raw November 29th.

D'Lo Brown beats Test. During the match, The Mean Street Posse (Rodney, Pete Gas, Joey Abs) are seen watching from the stage and talking about Test, saying he has "ass warts" and "flamingo legs." Later in the match, D'Lo Brown lands awkwardly and blows out his left knee after a top rope double ax handle, but when Test tries to pick him up, D'Lo Brown gets him in an inside cradle for the win. The Mean Street Posse leaves, then Test and the referee help D'Lo Brown up before Test leaves.

Mankind meets The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw), who tell him that Val Venis has already left the building. Meanwhile, Jim Ross talks to The Rock in the locker room. The Rock mentions how Jim Ross called WWF Chairman Vince McMahon hitting WWF co-owner Shane McMahon with the WWF Championship by saying he hoped that was accidental, and wants to know what he meant by that. Just like with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Jim Ross says he spoke too soon and that he was thinking back to the Vince of old, saying that a lot of things the old Vince did were not coincidental. The Rock tells Jim Ross that if he is lying, he will stick his cowboy hat up his candy ass.

The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) beat Too Cool ("Too Sexy" Brian Christopher, now going by "Grandmaster Sexay," and Scott "Too Hot" Taylor, now going by "Scotty 2 Hotty"). At one point in the match, Grandmaster Sexay and Scotty 2 Hotty grab at Terri Runnels' behind. Later on in the match, Terri Runnels distracts Scotty 2 Hotty, who moonwalks over to her only to get slapped in the face, allowing The Hardys to get the win.

Mankind is in the parking garage with The Godfather's hos, who tell him that Val Venis sometimes hangs out at Delilah's Pleasure Bar and Pinky's. As the hos talk about how hot he is as he walks away, one of the women asks if he bathes, then Mankind is seen scratching his butt as he leaves.

Tori, who is accompanied by Kane, is seen backstage with Jim Ross. He tells both of them that he spoke too soon and that he was speaking out of his head when WWF Chairman Vince McMahon hit WWF co-owner Shane McMahon with the WWF Championship. Kane is accepting of Jim Ross' explanation, and he leaves along with Tori.

Olympic Gold medalist Kurt Angle is coming soon to the World Wrestling Federation!

A black limousine is seen entering the building, and WWF Chairman Vince McMahon steps out of it.

Edge beats The British Bulldog by disqualification after Joey Abs breaks up a pinfall when Christian hits Bulldog with a DDT behind the referee's back. During the match, The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) show up, and after the match, they and Christan fight off The Mean Street Posse (Rodney, Pete Gas, Joey Abs) and toss them out of the ring. The British Bulldog retains the WWF European Championship.

WWF Chairman Vince McMahon confronts Jim Ross for accidentally implying that he hit his son WWF co-owner Shane McMahon with the WWF Championship, and Jim Ross apologizes and tells him what he has told everyone else: that it was a mistake as well as an accident. Vince accepts his apology.

At Delilah's Pleasure Bar, Mankind finds the manager, who tells him that Val Venis has not been at the establishment all night. Mankind tries to bribe the manager with a $1 bill, but a dancer takes it and offers Mankind a dance. Mankind says he would love to, but he is afraid that she would hurt herself on his tag team title. He leaves, and takes the $1 bill with him.

D-Generation X (Triple H, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) shows up. Triple H says it seems to him that the world cannot get enough of them, and that the entire world is in love with D-Generation X. He cannot blame everybody, as they are the coolest guys here, they have beaten everyone, and when they say they are going to do something, they do it. On Raw, the world got to see them in all their glory as Road Dogg kicked the living hell out of the Rock, X-Pac beat the living hell out of Kane and Billy Gunn split the eye of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin open with one shot of his fist. He tells the rest of DX that they are great, but the coup de grace and the best part of the show had to be the WWF Championship match. As a treat to DX as well as the fans, they are going to take a look at the match, where they brag about WWF Chairman Vince McMahon hitting WWF co-owner Shane McMahon in the head with the WWF Championship. He then brings up Jim Ross saying that he hoped that Vince did not hit Shane with the WWF Championship was an accident, then brings the fans up to date on the best-kept secret in wrestling today, and brings out the newest member of D-Generation X: Vince McMahon. Billy Gunn is seen holding up a DX jersey with "VINCE 69" on one side, then Vince shows up, unimpressed with what is going on. He asks the fans if he should join DX, then tells DX something. Triple H, irritated with Vince's microphone being cut off, screams "For the love of Christ, it's a billion-dollar company on the stock market, the stock's going through the friggin' roof, and we can't get a mike that works?" The crowd erupts with thunderous applause, and Triple H says that is one more reason why Vince should be with them, because they will always have "a stick that performs." Vince says he would rather join World Championship Wrestling than join DX, and tells them that he hopes they had all their fun on Monday and that they have more fun tonight, because in the ring, DX will compete in a Survivor Series Eight-Man Elimination Match against WWF co-owner Shane McMahon, Kane, The Rock, and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. DX is livid. He then salutes them, then flips the microphone in the air tells DX to suck it by giving them the crotch chop.

It is announced that Arnold Schwarzenegger will be on SmackDown next week.

Mankind is seen in the peep show section of an adult establishment, and take in some entertainment as he looks for Val Venis.

Before the next match, The Godfather's hos are about to take off their "Just Say Ho!" shirts when Chris Jericho shows up. He tells The Godfather that pimpin' ain't easy...to watch. He says nobody came to see a bunch of scantily clad women dance; instead, they came to see him. Also, just like nobody wants to see a cowardly woman as champion, everybody wants to see him. He tells Chyna that after their match at Survivor Series, he will make her his personal ho. He says she is excited about it, as she has a sexual crush on him, and asks if you can blame her with his kind of face. He also says that Chyna likes to lay on her back as she has slept with half the boys in the locker room already; however, her dream of a lifetime will come true after Survivor Series when he is dirty and sweaty and he makes Chyna get on her knees, pucker up and kiss the Intercontinental title, saying she will never, ever forget it.

The Godfather beats Chris Jericho. Chyna and Miss Kitty are seen watching the match on a monitor backstage. Later on in the match, Stevie Richard shows up dressed as a ho, and he and the hoes get in the ring, drag Tim White away and allow for Stevie to hit Jericho with a Stevie Kick. The Godfather then hits the Ho Train and stacks Jericho up for the win. After the match, the hos celebrate with Tim White.

Lilian Garcia interviews Stevie Richards, who asks who would not think the world of Chyna, as she is muscular, athletic, has a nice tan and can wrestle, saying "she's one big piece of ass." He predicts that Chyna will beat Chris Jericho at Survivor Series.

WWF Chairman Vince McMahon and WWF co-owner Shane McMahon talk about the Survivor Series Eight-Man Elimination Match as Vince looks for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

Mankind is seen leaving the adult entertainment establishment only to see a tow truck take his car away.

WWF chairman Vince McMahon finds "Stone Cold" Steve Austin enter his dressing room, but when he gets there, the door is locked.

Al Snow is seen still celebrating his tag team title win when he is attacked from behind by Val Venis, who tells him that it would be in Mankind's best interest if he finds him before he finds Mankind. He then leaves the locker room and thanks The Godfather's hos for sending the message, proving that Mankind was sent on a wild goose chase around town all along.

WWF chairman Vince McMahon looks for Kane, and gets Tori when he knocks on the door of Kane's dressing room. He tells Tori to tell Kane that he wishes him luck in the eight-man elimination match tonight.

The Big Boss Man vs. Big Show ends in a no-contest when the match gets out of control, and after the match's end, The Big Boss Man gets choke slammed. Prince Albert runs into the ring, but he fares no better and also eats a choke slam. Officials try to restore order, but Dave Hebner goes for a ride, as does Sgt. Slaughter and Tony Garea. Referees run in, but when Big Show gets his hand up in the air, they all scatter.

WWF Chairman Vince McMahon comes across The Rock, who simply tells Vince "The Rock smells it."

D-Generation X (Triple H, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) beat Shane McMahon, Kane, The Rock and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in a Survivor Series Eight-Man Elimination Match, with Triple H the sole survivor. During the match, WWF Chairman Vince McMahon shows up to watch the match from ringside. Later on in the match, with Triple H and Austin the only two men left iin the match, Vince brings in a steel chair, but Triple H takes it. Vince then grabs the WWF Championship and tries to hit Triple H with it, but he hits Austin instead, giving Triple H the win. After the match, Austin is immensely peeved with Vince, and Triple H gets back in the ring and hits Austin from behind with the WWF Championship.
