Extreme Nation - ECW on TNN recap for November 19, 1999

Joey Styles and "The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner welcome everyone to the show, then Rhino suddenly shows up. Rhino says he and Justin Credible are not the new Impact Wrestling, as Justin is a "fucking pussy" just like Lance Storm. He tells The Impact Players (Justin Credible and Lance Storm) that they may be afraid of Raven and "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer, but he fears no man. He calls Binghampton, New York a "shithole," and says he will kick the shit out of Raven and Dreamer and take the tag team titles, and says everyone will remember only one name: Rhino. As Rhino heads to the back, Tammy Lynn Sytch meets up with him, says she likes big, muscular men, asks him to follow her to the janitor's closet, then whispers into his ear. Rhino smiles and says "Now that I can do," and they both head to the back.

Angel and Tony DeVito of Da Balides are in the New York City subways. Tonight, Skull and P.N. News will be taking on Axl Rotten and Balls Mahoney in a Street Fight, and the loser of the fall leaves ECW forever. As for why there are here, their boys do not need back-up. They have also heard that New Jack is back on the street and returning to his "OG" style. They threaten to take New Jack out if they see him again, and if they have to spend the next 20 years in prison for taking him out, it will be worth it as it will feel so good.

Jerry Lynn beats Super Crazy. During the match, Steve Corino and Tajiri distract referee Jim Molineaux as Super Crazy is about to pin Jerry Lynn. Molineaux punches Steve Corino in the face, then Tajiri spits green mist in his face, blinding him. Tajiri then proceeds to hit Super Crazy with a roundhouse kick to the head followed by a brainbuster before leaving. Referee John Finegan checks on Jim Molineaux, then notices that Jerry Lynn has his arm over Super Crazy. He counts the pinfall, and Jerry Lynn gets the win.

Angel and Tony DeVito of Da Baldies take the subway as they look for New Jack. Angel challenges New Jack later tonight to a fight in The Bronx, saying New Jack has never seen anybody nipping at his heels. After saying he'll keep an eye out for him, he dares New Jack to come down there, and says if he sees him, he will take his lights out and hang his head on a mantle after he plays him out.

Backstage, Steve Corino says to Jack Victory that he is dying after being punched by Jim Molineaux. Jack Victory brings out a minister, who immediately chants something and causes Corino to stop crying, say he is healed and announce he is born again. Jack Victory thanks the man sarcastically, saying the minister blew a million dollars for him. The minister says this gig sucks, then smokes a cigarette and says that it beats managing Mortis and Wrath, revealing that the minister is, in fact, James Vandenberg.

Axl Rotten and Balls Mahoney beat Da Baldies (Skull and P.N. News), with Skull taking the pinfall. As per pre-match stipulation, Skull is gone from ECW.

Jack Victory and Steve Corino go looking for Rhino, who is with Chris Candido and Tammy Lynn Sytch. Corino asks about his plan, but Rhino and Candido say that they have everything under control, while Candido says he is the best sports entertainer in the locker room and Rhino saying that Tammy is "a damn good negotiator." When everyone notices the cameraperson nearby, they tell him to get out, as theyare conducting business, and Rhino has to scare the cameraperson off.

Back on the New York City subways, Angel and Tony DeVito of Da Baldies steal a man's wallet, address Skull's departure from ECW, then Angel brags about what he did to New Jack at November To Remember. He admits that New Jack has props, but he is still soft. Next week, he challenges New Jack to a New York City Street Fight, and regardless of where it takes place, he will play him out. He says it doesn't matter if New Jack takes him to the grave as he will take New Jack with him, and prove that the streets belong not to New Jack, but Da Baldies (Angel, DeVito, P.N. News).

We see "Dastardly" Danny Doring and Roadkill. Doring says that first, he loses Miss Congeniality, then Rhino and Chris Candido are suddenly getting a shot at the tag team titles, and asks who they ever beat to get it. He says it is all because TNN wants ratings, and that all you need is a pair of boobs to get a tag team title shot around here. A woman shows up and tells him that if it is boobs he wants, then it is boobs he will get. We find out that this woman is wearing a fur coat and a black two-piece swimsuit. Danny Doring takes her to the side. Roadkill says "Chickens," then hisses and leaves.

Before the next match, Steve Corino addresses his anger over being punched by ECW referee Jim Molineaux, and demands restitution for this in the form of the ECW World Tag Team Championships. "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer punches him in the face, then the next match starts.

Raven and "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer retain the ECW World Tag Team Championships against Rhino and Chris Candido following a catfight between Tammy Lynn Sytch and Francine that happens after Tammy hits Dreamer with a low blow to stop a Spicolli Drver to Candido. After the match, Rhino, Steve Corino and Jack Victory attack Raven and Dreamer until The Sandman shows up, gets in the ring and attacks them all with his Singapore Cane to save Dreamer. Raven then attacks The Sandman, and Dreamer has to keep Raven away. This leads to Sandman inadvertently hitting Dreamer in the head with the Singapore Cane, and The Impact Players (Justin Credible and Lance Storm) lay both Dreamer and The Sandman out.
