Layin' da SmackDown! - SmackDown recap for March 7, 2014

Batista shows up. He obviously doesn't consider Dolph Ziggler or Daniel Bryan real men. D-Bry shows up. Batista considers him nothing more than an "overblown fan." Daniel makes fun of Batista's skinny jeans and tells him "this fan nearly took you out Monday night." Batista threatens him, but Daniel Bryan keeps making fun of his looks. This starts a brawl that D-Bry quickly appears to win...but Kane shows up and it becomes a vicious 2-on-1 attack. All of a sudden, Big Show returns and chases both Kane and Batista out of the ring. Vickie Guerrero shows up and quickly makes Daniel Bryan and Big Show vs. Kane and Batista for later tonight.

He calls out Rollins, who shows up. and tells him and Reigns there are indeed cracks. Rollins has an ultimatum, now that Ambrose and Reigns can see eye-to-eye without bickering for once: get back together or go their separate ways. Ambrose gets in Rollins' face and hits him, and Reigns pushes Ambrose back. Rollins punches Ambrose, and Ambrose does the same to Rollins. After some tension, Rollins asks "Are we done here...or are we done?" All three men quickly swallow their pride, and after some hesitation from Ambrose, the three men get back together.

My predictions for TNA Lockdown 2014

You know, I should probably do this highlighting thing with the WM30 predictions. Y'know, just to give that whole top-secret vibe.

I kid. I don't know what caused it. Just Ctrl+A everything and you should be able to read it.

All matches will be in the steel cage!

Magnus (c) vs. Samoa Joe

for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship

Can only be won "Joe's Rules" (submission or knockout)

It's the match you've been waiting for. Will Samoa Joe take the title from Magnus?

My prediction: Magnus will probably retain.

Team MVP - MVP (captain), The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) and TBA

vs.

Team Dixie - Bobby Roode (captain), Austin Aries and The BroMans (Robbie E and Jessie Godderz)

Whoever wins this gives the person they're representing control of TNA...and if Team Dixie wins, Bobby Roode gets 10% control from Dixie! The future of TNA hangs on this match...

My prediction: Hoping that Team MVP will win.

Madison Rayne (c) vs. Gail Kim

for the TNA Knockouts Championship

Ever since her return in December, Madison Rayne has gone after her former best friend Gail Kim and has even won the TNA Knockouts title from her! Kim is ticked off and will take it back by any means necessary...

My prediction: Madison Rayne will retain.

Gunner vs. "The Cowboy" James Storm

The two former friends have split apart, gotten back together and split apart again, thanks to James Storm's frustration that he has to carry Gunner. Now it's time for one last match that settles this feud once and for all!

My prediction: Gunner will win this one.

Kurt Angle (well, not anymore) vs. Ethan Carter III

(now an open challenge from Ethan Carter III)

After endless bragging from Ethan Carter III that he's the new icon of TNA and that he's TNA's future, Kurt Angle has finally had enough! MVP has let him make a match against EC3, and that's exactly what he's done!

Unfortuantely, EC3 blew Angle's knee the Thursday before the event. On Sunday morning, Ethan issued an open challenge? Who

My prediction: I initially predicted Kurt Angle will win...so I'm going with his replacement. This oughta be good.

The Great Muta, Seiya Sanada and Nakanoue (Wrestle-1)

vs.

Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) and Chris Sabin (TNA)

It's Wrestle-1 vs TNA! Who will win?

My prediction: Probably TNA (Bad Influence and Chris Sabin).

Samuel Shaw vs. Mr. Anderson

Samuel Shaw's passion and pursuit for Christy Hemme has escalated to the point that he's a bonafide creepazoid. Mr. Anderson, who's just hanging out with Christy, is dragged into it by Shaw himself when he and Christy are attacked by Shaw. But Anderson has fought back, and now he's taking the fight to Shaw!

My prediction: Mr. Anderson will end this once and for all.

Tigre Uno vs. Manik

I'm guessing they're putting Tigre Uno in the X-Division, since they've taken him out of the Wrestle-1 vs TNA match and put him in a steel cage match against Manik. Still, this should be an interesting debut.

My prediction: Throwing caution to the wind and putting my imaginary money on Tigre Uno.

Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for March 6, 2014

Bobby Roode shows up with the Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jesse Godderz), who won the TNA Tag Team Titles back in Tokyo recently. Roode plans to run TNA his way after plowing MVP into the ground. As Aries and Roode bicker, MVP shows up with The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards). MVP has gotten another partner, but Dixie Carter shows up before he can announce who it is and tells MVP his choice doesn't matter. MVP's choice is Jeff Hardy, but Dixie won't let that happen. Bobby Roode gets in MVP's face, starting a brawl between the two teams.

Davey Richards has to be taken to the back after Austin Aries attacks him with a chair during the elimination tag team match of MVP and The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) vs Bobby Roode, Aries and Robbie E. Team MVP has an hour to re-renter the ring or Team Roode wins.

Bobby Roode beats Davey Richards with the Crossface, giving Team Dixie the advantage at the Lethal Lockdown match this Sunday. MVP and Eddie Edwards have to chase Roode out of the ring to get him to let go.

Dixie Carter's strategy for Magnus: go out and defend his title successfully Sunday. That's it.

Samoa Joe shows up and calls out Magnus, who shows up. He taunts Joe and plans to use his rage against him to retain the world title this Sunday. Samoa Joe tells Magnus he won't be walking out at all when he's done. Magnus beats up Joe, but Joe gets the rear naked choke in on Magnus.

Tigre Uno is coming to LockDown!
