Generation NXT - NXT recap for September 30, 2025

Ricky Saints heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Ricky says that the reality he said would happen in February is now, and while there were empty and doubtful nights as well as people asking if he could win the NXT Championship, he bet on himself and became champion. He says that the NXT Championship is absolute proof that one should only worry about one's self, then Jacy Jayne suddenly shows up. Jacy congratulates Saints, then tells him that they have bigger things to worry about such as Total Nonstop Action's invasion. General Manager Ava shows up and agrees, and names them both team captains for NXT. She says that because of this, they are tasked with picking the best members for their team, and asks them to put aside their pride to do just that before TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella shows up. Santino says he will let his captains pick their team members as well, but admits he does not trust Trick William and names Mike Santana the captain of TNA's men's team. Santana shows up, then says he does trust someone from NXT to be a team captain, and picks Kelani Jordan to be captain of TNA's women's team. Kelani Jordan then shows up. Ava says she needs both teams finalized by the end of the night, and Santino says this is more of a showdown than an invasion, and that there will be a summit between both companies. Jacy Jayne takes exception to Kelani being the captain of TNA's women's team. Saints says that he and Jacy should be more concerned about their own teams and that he will see Santana at the end of the night.

Backstage, Je'Von Evans runs into Leon Slater. Je'Von says their X Division Championship match is "the youngest dream match in history" before The Culling (Shawn Spears, Niko Vance, Izzi Dame, Tatum Paxley) shows up and chides Je'Von for being friends with the enemy. Je'Von says he and Slater will see who is the best at Bound For Glory, and if they are on opposite teams at Invasion, so be it. This leads to Shawn Spears challenging Je'Von and Slater to a tag team match, which both men simultaneously accept. Je'Von and Slater leave, then Lyra Valkyria shows up after Je'Von and Slater leave, and hands Tatum Paxley a Lyra Valkyria doll. The rest of The Culling take exception to this as Tatum is delighted.

Jaida Parker beats Lash Legend.

Backstage, Ricky Saints is being congratulated in the locker room when Trick Williams shows up wanting to be "co-captain." Ricky Saints that Je'Von is on the team, then says that there are two spots left, and that Myles Borne is all in for this and has one of the spots. When Trick says he has the power and size, Jasper Troy steps up, and Trick Williams puts Josh Briggs up for consideration. Starks says there is not much choice when Je'Von does not want to team with Josh Briggs, and Je'Von leaves. Trick proposes that Myles Borne and Josh Briggs face each other for one of the spots, to which Saints agrees to.

"All Ego" Ethan Page heads to the ring. Ethan brags about retaining against Tavion Heights at No Mercy before addressing El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr.'s challenge, saying that he only has a doctorate in pissing him off before the man himself seemingly shows up at the arena. We only see that person's foot, though, and instead of El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr., Mustafa Ali shows up in NXT for the first time in two years. Mustafa tells Ethan that he has no issue with anything he has said, yet he has an issue with the NXT North American Championship. Ethan says he has no issue as well as no business with Mustafa. Mustafa says Ethan does not owe him anything, but NXT does, and that he had a shot at the title before he was released two years ago on this very day and that the opportunity never came, which he is bitter about as he is still waiting. Ethan calls this "a sob story" and tells him to pick someone with the ears to want to hear it, as he is not the guy. Mustafa says he will not cry; instead, he will politick for it, as he has spoken to General Manager Ava and Total Nonstop Action Director of Authority Santino Marella. Next week at Showdown (formerly called "Invasion"), he gets his title shot, and Ethan will have no choice but to defend the North American Championship against him. Ethan gets angry and says that Mustafa is just trying to claim what he never could, and that he will disappoint him and wish him the best in his future endeavors. Both men brawl, and Mustafa lands a drop kick on Ethan before Ethan retreats.

Backstage, Jacy Jayne shows up in the women's locker room. She declares Jaida Parker a strong candidate for the team, then picks Sol Ruca, stating that she defended the Women's Speed title at No Mercy successfully and that she needs winners. Lola Vice asks to be on the team and states that she is willing to put differences aside, but Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid show up wanting a spot on the team. Everyone argues, and Jacy puts Fallon and Lola in a match to see who gets on the team.

We hear from The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy), who states that although they do not know who their opponents in DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin) are, there will be no one else at ringside, which promises a fair fight. Matt says they must delete DarkState and win the NXT Tag Team Championships to prove that they are the best of all time.

Myles Borne beats Josh Briggs to earn a spot in the NXT men's team. During the match, Josh Briggs rips off the chain around his neck to use it as a weapon only to get stopped by Matt Cardona, which causes the referee to take the chain away. Borne hits Briggs with a drop kick followed by Borne Again for the win and the spot. The men's team consists of Ricky Saints as captain with Trick Williams, Myles Borne and Je'Von Evans as the other three members.

Backstage, Jordynne Grace tells Kelani Jordan that there is a lot of history to the Total Nonstop Action Knockouts World Championship and to carry the title well, then says she does not trust Jacy Jayne. Kelani brings up the fact that Jordynne's past is in TNA, but her present is in NXT. Jordynne mentions Joe Hendry's name as she talks about where she stands, and as Joe Hendry shows up and explains things, Mike Santana shows up and says that Hendry and Jordynne both have one foot in and one foot out. Kelani says she is closing to completing her team, but Santana says he wants her to meet the rest of the TNA locker room. Jordynne and Hendry, both knowing that they will not be picked for either team, agree that they need to be part of Showdown somehow.

Lola Vice beats Fallon Henley to earn a spot on the NXT women's team.

We hear from DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin). They say that what they started does not stop for anyone and that they forced NXT's hand, and that they are here to be the moment. Osiris then says that he and Lennox took the NXT tag titles and will take the Total Nonstop Action tag team titles.

Backstage, Jacy Jayne apologizes to Fallon Henley, stating she should not have put her in a match with Lola Vice when Lainey Reid shows up and tells Jacy not to be too hard on herself. Fallon wants to know what her deal is with them, then Lainey then reveals that she was the hooded woman who helped Jacy retain at No Mercy before admitting that she also attacked Jazmyn Nyx, stating that she never belonged in Fatal Influence (Jacy and Fallon).

Je'Von Evans and Leon Slater beat The Culling (Shawn Spears and Niko Vance). After the match, it is revealed that the entire Total Nonstop Acton locker room has made its way to the arena on a Cybertruck. The NXT locker room soon shows up, and everyone confronts each other. After the commercial break, the NXT and TNA locker rooms surround the ring. General Manager Ava runs down the card for Showdown, then Trick Williams tries to make an announcement as "co-captain" only for Ricky Saints to tell Trick he is riding shotgun. Saints picks Trick, Myles Borne and Je'Von Evans for his team, while Mike Santana picks Frankie Kazarian, Moose and Leon Slater for his team. Jacy Jayne tells Kelani Jordan that when she was Knockotus Champion, she still represented NXT, and as far as she is concerned, she is "a two-timing traitor." Jacy then picks Sol Ruca, Jaida Parker and Lola Vice for her team, while Kelani - who looks forward to shutting Jacy up -picks The IInspiration (Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee) and Mara Sadé (who she almost calls Jakara Jackson to mess with everyone). Mike Santana says that TNA is winning Showdown just like he is winning the TNA World Championship and bringing it back where it belongs, then punches Trick Williams and starts a massive brawl that ends the show. As the brawl goes on, Shawn Michaels watches from the bottom of the ramp as everybody goes at it.

Here are the highlights for tonight's show!

Raw Deal - Raw recap for September 29, 2025

Rhea Ripley heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Rhea calls out The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane), saying she always knew it would come to this even though she hoped they would handle things in the ring like the warriors they were, and that what they did to Iyo Sky crossed the line. Rhea says they will settle things in the ring and dares The Kabuki Warriors to come and get her. Suddenly, Iyo Sky shows up and heads to the ring. Iyo says it breaks her heart to say that Rhea was right about them, even though they are family and she still loves them. The lights go out, then The Kabuki Warriors show up on the Titantron. Asuka says it is up to Iyo what happens next, as she taught her everything she knows and made her. She says that she only acts like Rhea is her family and that she forgot about her when she became champion. Because she loves Iyo, however, she is willing to forgive her if she apologizes like she should. Kairi Sane says they can still be family and Asuka says they can still be family, but Asuka tells Rhea it is too late for her. Rhea says Asuka can go to hell, then tells Iyo that there is no way she can go back to The Kabuki Warriors after everything they have done to her. Iyo apologizes and says she needs some time before leaving the ring. All of a sudden, Rhea is attacked from behind by The Kabuki Warriors, and Iyo Sky runs into the ring throws Asuka off of Rhea. Kairi begs Iyo off, and that allows Asuka to spit blue mist into Iyo's face. Rhea gets back up and fights off Asuka and Kairi, but Asuka kicks Rhea in the back of the neck and throws her into the ring posts before she and Kairi lay Rhea out. Medical staff have to check on Iyo Sky in the ring while officials check on Rhea.

"Dirty" Dominik Mysterio retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Rusev. During the match, Dominik tries to retreat with both of his titles, but Rusev throws him back into the ring. Rusev grabs the AAA Mega Championship, but when the referee takes it away, Dominik hits Rusev with the Intercontinental Championship and plays possum only for the referee to see what is going on. As the referee returns the other championship, Dominik grabs the referee from behind as Rusev goes after him, then kicks low and wins with an inside cradle.

In backstage footage from earlier today, General Manager Adam Pearce meets with LA Knight, who wants his World title shot when The New Day shows up angry that the Mexican Destroyer has not been banned while demanding a tag team title shot. This leads to LA Knight taking offense to being interrupted, especially when Kofi says that a world champion is talking, and LA Knight says Kofi will never be a world champion again while he is a world champion in waiting before challenging Kofi to a match tonight.

We see part one of a series of video packages chronicling the history between "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and Seth "Freakin'" Rollins.

Backstage, Bayley runs into Lyra Valkyria and thanks her for the help, but Lyra says she is tired of the mind games. Bayley admits she has gone through a lot since WrestleMania, but Lyra says she cannot give Bayley any more second chances and that she is on his own.

Raquel Rodriguez beats Bayley after Roxanne rakes Bayley's eyes from the outside as Bayley has Raquel in a Figure Four Leg Lock. After the match, Roxanne attacks Bayley, then Lyra Valkyria shows up and fights both Roxanne and Raquel, despite being hesitant at first. The numbers game catches up to Lyra just before Bayley loses it and gives Raquel a beatdown. Raquel and Roxanne are forced to retreat, and Lyra wants nothing to do with Bayley, who suddenly helps Lyra up. Lyra has no idea what to make of this.

Backstage, Jimmy Uso meets with "Main Event" Jey Uso, but wants to know why Jey did not help him or LA Knight. Jey says helping LA Knight gets them nowhere, then asks Jimmy why he is helping LA Knight. Jey says that if it were not for LA Knight, he would be World Heavyweight Champion by now, and that Jimmy does not get it. He then tells Jey to forget LA Knight and that they will handle The Vision (Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed) tonight.

Backstage, Kairi Sane meets with Iyo Sky as she is tended to by medical and tells her they can still be a family, and that it is not too late. She tells Iyo to follow her and apologize to Asuka, but Iyo Sky wants none of this and tells Kairi to leave her alone. Kairi leaves crying, but not before leaving a photo of Iyo and The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane).

LA Knight beats Kofi Kingston despite the interference from Xavier Woods on the ring apron.

Backstage, Maxxine Dupri is talking with Akira Tozawa when Becky Lynch shows up and calls Maxxine a failure. Maxxine mentions everyone calling Becky the best of all time except for AJ Lee, and when Akira Tozawa chuckles, Becky punches him in the face. Maxxine tells Becky to leave Tozawa out of this, as he has nothing to do with this, then checks on Tozawa after Becky leaves only to be beaten down from behind by Becky. Seth "Freakin'" Rollins catches up with Becky while looking at his watch, and after a brief chat, Rollins says that that he has to do what he has to do tonight on his own.

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins heads to the ring. Seth talks about how "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes has three wins over him, yet says it does not bother him because it does not matter. He says those matches were in the past and that those versions of him and Cody trying to reach the top do not matter. He says that only Crown Jewel matters, as they are both at the top and they are going one-on-one with the winner receiving not just the Men's Crown Jewel Championship but the ability to decide the next ten to twenty years of the industry. He says there are some people at home who want Cody to win, and says that those people have lost their minds and that he is the one to lead the industry into the future. Rollins says he has done everything right and stayed in WWE when things got tough, brought WWE into its golden age and taken Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed under his wing and gave them the knowledge to secure their place at the top. He says he has done it all and sacrificed it all to get rid of cancers like Roman Reigns and CM Punk, yet the fans still chant for Cody, who then shows up. Cody says talk of the future of the industry is a bit much, and the fans have more control of it than either of them does. He also believes that Rollins can teach Breakker and Bronson, but not control them, and that Paul Heyman - not Seth Rollins - sent them to SmackDown last week. Rollins says all decisions run through him and that he sent them to SmackDown because Cody did not get the message, and Cody takes this as Rollins allowing Heyman to announce for Brock Lesnar. Rollins insists that every decision runs through him, and the fans chant "No, it doesn't!" to Rollins' chagrin, with an angry Rollins stating that he is why the fans are here. Cody says everyone is trying here and that the fans are just having fun, then says it should just be about both world champions in a match for the Men's Crown Jewel Championship. Cody asks where the both of them will be in twenty years, then talks about their history at WrestleMania 40 and says that he thought Rollins was his friend, but Rollins tells Cody to shut up. Rollins says that they were never friends and calls WrestleMania 40 "a means to an end" and Cody "the lesser of two evils." He says they will never be friends and that he will cleanse the timeline, stating that everything before Crown Jewel is dead. He then says that after Crown Jewel, he will write a new future, and he will be the one to lead it.

Backstage, Iyo Sky is looking at Kairi Sane's photo from earlier when Rhea Ripley checks on her. Iyo tells Rhea she was right about Asuka and that at Crown Jewel, they will take on The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane). Rhea says she wants Asuka's head more than anyone, but she wants to know if Iyo Sky is up to this, even after she saw her talking to Kairi Sane earlier. Iyo tells Rhea she can trust her, as her family is lost and she cannot go back to them. Rhea accepts the challenge.

Before the next match, Dragon Lee says it is an honor to share the ring with "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles as part of a time and says that together, they are unstoppable, and talks about how became #1 contender for the AAA Mega Championship. He tells "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio that he is coming for him. Styles agrees with Dragon Lee and hopes he kicks Dominik's teeth in, then says that thanks to the fans, he has a match against John Cena at Crown Jewel. He thanks the fans for giving him the opportunity to beat up John Cena, but tonight, they kick Los Americanos' asses.

"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Dragon Lee beat Los Americanos (Rayo and Bravo).

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Stephanie Vaquer. Stephanie says she is ready for anyone and looks forward to facing Tiffany Stratton and becoming Women's Crown Jewel Champion. Tiffany shows up and says she respects Stephanie, but she has been champion for over eight months, and she will become Crown Jewel Champion. Stephanie tells Tiffany her time is over, but Tiffany tells Stephanie she will have to get used to coming in second.

Backstage, Seth "Freakin'" Rollins meets with the rest of The Vision (Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed), and Rollins says "I have to be here. I have to."

The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) beat The Vision (Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed) in a tornado tag match after Roman Reigns suddenly shows up with a metal folding chair and goes to town on The Vision. After the match, Roman goes back to town on Breakker, who soon falls out of the ring. Roman then gets Jey psyched up and tells him that this is his time while Jimmy watches nearby.

He then asks Heyman to tell him about Brock Lesnar now that the locker room is stirred up. Cody thinks that Paul Heyman getting back together with Brock Lesnar is more than "a one-night thing," and asks if he is talking to an oracle, a wiseman, or an advocate. Heyman says he is talking to "the GOAT." Heyman tells Cody he knows just as well as anyone else does that when Lesnar is here, everyone is in danger, then tells him that Lesnar is not here as Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed show up. He then asks Cody what makes him think he is not in anger right now, then Cody advises Breakker than he grew up around people like Heyman and that he can tell that Heyman is doing what he does for some reason and questions who he is loyal to before saying it is not Breakker. He says that Cody was one step ahead and "a master chess player," that the referee took six seconds to count a pinfall he had and that the referee stopped him from kicking Cody's head into the commentary table, protecting Cody and costing him the WWE Championship. He forgives the ref, then blames Cody, saying he has great power, which means great responsibility and even greater corruption. General Manager Nick Aldis shows up and says he can see where McIntyre is coming from, then says that was not his night and that McIntyre is better than that. He also mentions that the boot McIntyre is from is not from the WWE medical team. He then says McIntyre is not champion because of corruption, then tells McIntyre to have a good night and leaves. As McIntyre continues to retort Aldis after he has walked away, Jacob Fatu suddenly shows up. Jacob yanks the microphone from McIntyre's hand and tells him to shut up and stop bitching, saying that he cries, complains and blames everyone else for his wrongdoing every week and tells him to "sit [his] peg leg ass down." In footage from earlier today, Eric Young confronts Director of Authority Santino Marella and demands a match with Joe Hendry. Santino says that the match is official as he tells Eric he is lucky he did not fire him for putting his hands on a referee, and Eric says that he does not have the balls to fire him and dares Santino to fire him as he continuously calls him a puppet. Santino tells Young that the higher-ups want this match, and therefore it is happening.

Victoria Crawford beats Jody Threat following the distraction by Tessa Blanchard, who has not been seen since Against All Odds.

Backstage, we hear from Joe Hendry, who says that Eric Young was the one to mentor him and help him figure things out on his return to TNA, but he got too successful for Eric's liking to the point that Eric Young became a jealous conspiracy theorist who thinks Hendry is turning away from the values he used to preach. Hendry states that at Victory Road, Eric Young will find out why the fans chant "We believe."

Backstage, we hear from The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Moose). Eddie Edwards says their path to Bound For Glory is set. Myers says they have been down a family member in JDC, but JDC will be at Victory Road no matter what. Moose says he does not need his family to win matches, yet Mustafa Ali has yet to prove the same with his faction. He then challenges Mustafa to a match with no seconds at ringside for Victory Road, which he thinks will not happen, then says he will prove why he is the face of the franchise and why you always trust The System.

Before the next match, AJ Francis re-introduces himself, then says that unlike Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves, he will not be eliminated early by "a bunch of losers" and "a bunch of broads." He says he has been told never to concern himself with the actions of losers, but when it comes to broads, it is "the money over the honey." When he gets in Rosemary's face and says that he would slam her even though he would never hit a woman, Rosemary spits green mist in his face. AJ Francis soon gets eliminated by everyone else in the match.

Director of Authority Santino Marella is in the ring for "The Final Negotation." Team 3D (Bully Ray and Brother Devon) is introduced first, followed by The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy). Bully Ray says that out of respect for what The Hardys continue to do for TNA, he will allow them the floor first. Matt Hardy says it is surreal that both teams are in a TNA ring. He says that when The Hardys returned to TNA, they wanted to cement themselves as the greatest of all time, and while they have made some all-time lists, they will never catch up to Team 3D on the "most decorated" list. Bully Ray says TNA is what it is because of The Hardys. Matt says that to cement themselves as the greatest of all time, they must beat Team 3D one last time. Bully Ray tells Brother Devon that they made a lot of memories and history with The Hardys, and D-Von mentions the time they were 25 feet in the air and says "Never again, you son of a bitch!" Matt Hardy mentions falling off a 16-foot ladder and going through 4 tables, and Bully Ray wonders how even Jeff Hardy is still alive. Both teams agree they have been through a lot and made a lot of history together, and while they are going through memory lane and nostalgia, Bully Ray says that The Hardys need them at the end of the day, and that is the truth. Matt says the truth is the truth, and they need them at Bound For Glory to see who the greatest truly is. He says that whoever wins will shake the others' hands and proclaim the other team as the greatest. Bully Ray then asks what they have to offer them, and Matt Hardy says they are putting the tag team titles on the line. If Team 3D wins, they will be 25-time world tag team champions. Bully Ray says there are more deserving teams, but Matt Hardy wants them to jump to the front of the line for one special match that will happen one final time. Santino agrees to this, and asks the fans if they want this, to which the fans agree. Bully Ray rejects the offer, however, and the fans chant "We want tables!" Bully Ray then mentions their tag team tables match at Royal Rumble 2000, which The Hardys won, then says Team 3D needs The Hardys as much as The Hardys need them. He says that this loss has bothered them to this day, especially since it was in their hometown of New York City, then says that if they are going to do this, they will do this the right way: in a tables match. Santino Marella then makes it official and hands the contract to Team 3D, but Bully Ray says they do not need a contract as Devon tears the contract up, and that all they need to do is shake hands. Both teams shake hands in the middle of the ring.

Backstage, we hear from Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, John Skyler, Jason Hotch, Tasha Steelz). Mustafa is the kind of tired that sleep cannot fix, as he is tired of explaining himself as well as the disrespect, and he is tired of The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Moose). He says that actions have consequences regarding Moose's stipulation for Victory Road. John Skyler says that Order 4 will unleash those consequences, and Jason Hotch says they are what a family really looks like. Tasha Steelz says that at Bound For Glory, they will stand united while The System falls divided. Mustafa then accepts Moose's challenge for Victory Road, but he does not like to leave anything to chance. He says that whoever wins between himself and Moose will earn the advantage for Hardcore War for their team. The System then shows up, and both factions have a staredown.

Before the next match, Steve Maclin ends up playing the part of the microphone that fails to drop down from the ceiling.

As Deonna tells them that Steve Maclin taught her to always keep her front towards the enemy in a reference to The Infantry's (Dean and Bravo) military service, Trish Adora attacks her from the side and states that the ROH Women's Pure Championship will be the next title brought to Shane Taylor Promotions.

Stone says that they can also bring all the weapons that they want, because the match will also be in a steel cage.

Backstage, Kelly Kincaid interviews Lainey Reid, who says that she has gotten her opportunity and that she has taken advantage of it. She hopes to give Sol Ruca some Southern Hospitality and become the next Women's Speed Champion. Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Jazmyn Nyx) shows up, and Jacy Jayne wishes Lainey luck before telling Fallon and Jazmyn that she can handle Lola Vice on her own.

Jacy Jayne heads to the ring alone. She asks that everyone pretend that last week's match did not happen, as nothing about it really matters because she has been NXT Women's Champion for over 100 days. Jacy says she has gotten rid of every single label that everyone has tried to put on her, calling them all "so cute" and "so wrong," while stating that it is laughable that everyone thinks Lola Vice will dethrone her. She calls Lola Vice "a crossover act pretending to be a wrestler in [her] division," and while Lola has a good Instagram and has improved since she showed up, she is not ready to be champion. Jacy also mentions that Lola may have the hometown advantage, but she is the one who shocked the world and that she, not Lola, is the underdog in this story after busting her ass to the top while Lola was shaking her ass. She says that nothing and nobody is going to save Lola and that her moment will not be ruined, then Lola shows up and says that she actually has an ass compared to Jacy, then says Jacy has always needed someone to win while she did not. She also says that she was knocking women out to earn her opportunity while Jacy Jayne was on the rise, and that this time, she is a completely different person compared to a year ago when she last wrestled for the NXT Women's title. She says that she is not winning the title not just for herself, her family and her culture, but also her fans, and at No Mercy, she will knock Jacy Jayne out and become champion. Jacy says Lola might beat her ass, but she can see her and she knows Lola has been looking for validation from her family, and she will still be walking out champion while Lola tells her parents that their sacrifices were for nothing. She says that she will walk out champion while Lola will walk out her family's biggest disappointment, and that leads to Lola knocking Jacy out with a spinning back fist.

Halloween Havoc is live on Netflix and Peacock on Saturday, October 25th!

We hear from Josh Briggs, who says that the fans never cared about him and never will, and that the fans who hypocrites who boo him when he shows up yet cheer his matches after they end. He says that Je'Von Evans lives and dies by the fans' approval and that this makes him week, and that he will prove to Je'Von Evans that everything is just noise, for he does not care if he connects with the fans.

DarkState (Dion Lennox, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin) beats Joe Hendry and Chase University (Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors) after Cutler James distracts the referee so that DarkState can hit a three-man powerbomb. Mike Santana is seen entering the arena during the match.

We see Ricky Saints back at home in New Orleans, Louisiana. He stands in the site where his childhood home once stood before "The Storm" took it away and talks about how he was supposed to fall through the cracks. He also talks about how he has not let circumstance define him and how he hopes to make New Orleans proud while also proving that he is who he says he is at No Mercy.

Backstage, Kelly Kincaid interviews Je'Von Evans. Je'Von says Josh Briggs won last time, but he will win this time even though Josh talks about him like he knows him. A loud bang is heard, and as Je'Von Evans says that he will win, it is revealed that Jazmyn Nyx has been attacked with what looks like a cooler. Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley show up, and while Fallon says she was with Jazymn a minute ago, Jacy Jayne says it was time to drop her anyway, as only the strong survive. Fallon agrees with Jacy.

Numerous Total Nonstop Action wrestlers are seen in the crowd before the next match.

Trick Williams vs. Oba Femi in a Winner Takes All Match for the NXT Championship and the Total Nonstop Action World Championship ends in a no-contest. Trick Williams retains the Total Nonstop Adction World Championship. Oba Femi retains the NXT Championship. During the match, multiple TNA wrestlers are seen in the crowd, including Matt Cardona, who has not been seen in WWE since his release from the company. Mike Santana also joins in on commentary mid-match, and Trick Williams eventually mouths off at Santana and slaps him. Santana slaps Trick back, ending the match. The show ends with all the TNA wrestlers in the crowd jumping the barricade and brawling, with the NXT locker room jumping into the fray not long afterwards. The show ends with Ricky Saints showing up and looking at the NXT Championship only for Oba Femi to have a staredown with Saints.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for September 22, 2025

As LA Knight is backstage, Rusev is seen in the background threatening "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, much to the surprise of LA Knight.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Cody Rhodes says he would love to have another Crown Jewel Championship ring following a match against Seth "Freakin'" Rollins, who shows up almost as quickly with the rest of The Vision (Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed, Paul Heyman) as soon as Cody mentions him. Rollins enters the ring alone and says that the moment they both walked out of SummerSlam as champions, he had Crown Jewel circled on the calendar, and while they had hoops to jump through to get to this point, they are here. He says it should be as simple as the best man winning, but it is not, as it is him and Cody, and it is deeper and bigger than that. Rollins tells Cody he is good at reading people and that he knows what the fans, the locker room, the Internet and even the home viewers all think about him, and he does not give a damn. He proclaims that the people do not know what is good for them and do not have the right to make decisions as the fans chant "CM Punk," then says it is fortunately not about Punk because he does not have a championship. After stating he already knows what Punk thinks of him, he wants to know what Cody thinks of him, and wants the truth out of him. Cody admits it is complicated when it should not be, as Rollins has recently made some questionable choices, including receiving the services of Paul Heyman, but also admits that Cody has changed his life. He says that it was indirectly, but Rollins stood across from an opponent he did not know, and without his injury, he would not know what he was capable of. He also says that this and his help at WrestleMania 40 changed his life and career. He then asks Rollins what he thinks of himself, because Rollins could be not just one of the best, but the absolute best, on any given night, but that Rollins is not hiding behind The Vision. Cody sizes up the situation and asks Rollins what he can do for him, and Rollins mentions the watch on his left wrist that he gave him at WrestleMania 40, which he had not worn until tonight. He questions if the watch is a real gift or a token gesture, as Cody knows all the right things to say about him when it suits him, because in his next breath, he undermines everything that he stands for and states with a straight face that he is the right person to lead the future. He then asks what Cody then really thinks of him and thinks that Cody thinks lesser of him, then says that The Vision are not goons and are what the future of wrestling looks like in his image, and says that Cody will be his quarterback. Rollins says that regardless of what Cody thinks, the future will come out in three weeks and Cody will find out that he is "the alpha." Cody says that all three of their match were one-on-one, and wants to know if Crown Jewel will be the case. He also asks how many of those previous three matches he has won before walking off. Bronson and Breakker stand in front of Cody on his way out, and Cody is let by at the behest of Rollins.

Backstage, Jimmy Uso runs into "Main Event" Jey Uso, and says that what happened at Wrestlepalooza was trash and that he knows they can win, then mentions Jey making his own match with LA Knight and questions if it is a good idea in the state Jey is in. Jey says that they could have won if LA Knight were not the special guest referee, and that The Vision (Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed)could have taken care of him if Jimmy did not tag team with Knight. Jimmy takes exception to being blamed for this, but Jey says they have a lot to handle and they will handle it after he handles LA Knight.

The War Raiders (Ivar and Erik) and Penta beat The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and Grayson Waller in a no-disqualification match following an avalanche Mexican Destroyer from Penta to Grayson Waller.

Backstage, Finn Balor is playing on a Nintendo Switch 2 with The Judgment Day (JD McDonagh, Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez) when "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio shows up and mentions that things are getting out of control regarding Rusev. Balor tells Dominik to get help from El Grande Americano, but Dominik says Americano is back in Mexico. Dominik asks McDonagh for help, and after Roxanne Perez insists, McDonagh reluctantly helps Dominik, but says he will do this for The Judgment Day. Domink then tells McDonagh that everything is taken care of with General Manager Adam Pearce and that he has a match with Rusev tonight, then Roxanne and Raquel Rodriguez leave awkwardly and McDonagh has to tell Finn what is going on.

Backstage, Bayley catches up with Lyra Valkyria and acts as if her outburst never happened, saying Lyra did well last week and asking Lyra to be in her corner tonight. It becomes clear to Lyra that Bayley has forgotten about their history between them, but Lyra agrees. Bayley leaves, then Stephanie Vaquer walks by on her way to the ring.

General Manager Adam Pearce is in the ring to introduce Stephanie Vaquer, who heads to the ring. After Pearce congratulates Vaquer, Vaquer says that being Women's World Champion has been her life's dream and admits that it felt impossible, but she worked and sacrificed for it and she made it real. She says she beat one of the best on the planet in Iyo Sky and learned to be strong and never give up because she had the best example and a hero in her father Hector, who is in the crowd tonight. She takes pride in being the first Latin American-born female champion in WWE history, and that the title represents all the support that the fans have given her, for which she thanks the fans. Vaquer proclaims that her fire will keep making history, and that nobody will stop her. Pearce then announces that at Crown Jewel, the winner of Friday's WWE Women's Championship Triple Threat Match on SmackDown will face Vaquer at Crown Jewel.

Backstage, Nikki Bella congratulates Stephanie Vaquer, as does Rhea Ripley, who states that she is still coming for the Women's World Championship. Vaquer says she looks forward to it, then The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) show up and Asuka says Vaquer is not deserving to be a champion. Nikki disagrees, and Vaquer says she will show Asuka while she is a champion when they finally meet in the ring. Rhea confronts Asuka over her attitude, and Asuka tells Rhea to stay away from Iyo Sky before saying Rhea is not ready for her. This leads Rhea to say she is ready before challenging Asuka to a match. Kairi tries to apologize after Asuka leaves, but Asuka tells her to hurry up.

Bayley beats Roxanne Perez after Roxanne hits Lyra Valkyria with a tope suicida on the outside. After the match, Lyra hugs Bayley, but Bayley shoves her away for touching her and goes off on her.

Backstage, "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes runs into Jimmy Uso. Jimmy congratulates Cody on the Wrestlepalooza win, but when Cody asks about "Main Event" Jey Uso, Jimmy says Jey is in his own head and will not listen to him, and that he thinks that he could listen to Cody. Cody says he will talk to Jey.

Backstage, "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes meets with "Main Event" Jey Uso, and mentions that Jimmy Uso is worried about Jey. Jey says he is fine, but Cody tells Jey that he has his fans, friends and family and that they believe in Jey. Jey promises to Cody that he will find his way back to the top.

Rusev beats JD McDonagh by submission with the Accolade after "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio tries to get in the ring only to think better of it and back off. After the match, Finn Balor runs into the match and hits Rusev with an elbow, then clotheslines Rusev out of the ring before checking on McDonagh and arguing with Dominik.

Backstage, Iyo Sky tells Asuka that she does not have to fight Rhea Ripley, but Asuka wants to teach Rhea respect. Iyo tells Kairi to talk to Asuka after Asuka leaves, but Kairi says Asuka is why they are here and that they must listen to her.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews LA Knight. Knight says things only happened the way they did at Wrestlepalooza because he checked on "Main Event" Jey Uso only to be shoved away by Jey, and while he does not want to hurt Jey, he has no problem doing it with a BFT.

"Main Event" Jey Uso beats LA Knight after Knight takes down both Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed when they rush towards the ring. After the match, Jimmy Uso shows up as Bronson and Breakker head back into the ring, and when Jey refuses to help LA Knight when Jimmy asks him to, Jimmy grabs a metal folding chair and runs to the ring when Jey leaves. Paul Heyman has to beg Breakker off before he, Breakker and Bronson leave.

Backstage, Becky Lynch is obsessed with everything going on and making an example out of someone as Seth "Freakin'" Rollins looks at the Rolex that "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes gifted him.

Backstage, Iyo Sky meets with Rhea Ripley. Iyo wants Rhea to call off the match with Asuka, but Rhea says it must happen and hopes that they can beat respect into each other like she and Iyo did. She also asks Iyo to be careful around Asuka. Iyo says Asuka is family and that she is here because of her, then doubts if she can trust Rhea before leaving. Rhea says that this is not what she meant.

We see a video package for El Grande Americano and the two luchadors who are also part of his matches and share his American theme, who are now collectively known as "Los Americanos."

Backstage, Maxxine Dupri wants a title match. General Manager Adam Pearce tells her to keep doing what she is doing and he will eventually find the right moment for her. After Maxxine leaves, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Dragon Lee show up regarding El Grande Americano and his luchador allies, wanting a match with Los Americanos next week. Pearce says he will talk with Los Americanos and make the match happen.

Rhea Ripley beats Asuka after a conflicted Kairi Sane tries to hit Rhea Ripley with a spinning back fist from the ring apron only for Rhea to block it. Asuka charges at Rhea, but Rhea dodges and Asuka hits Kairi instead before winning with a schoolkid pin. After the match, Asuka spits blue mist into Rhea's face, then commands Kairi to attack Rhea. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi) gang up on Rhea, but it is not long before Iyo Sky runs into the ring to reason with them. Asuka sobs and hugs Iyo, then hits her with a spinning back fist.
