Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 28, 2024

"Main Event" Jey Uso heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Jey Uso admits that he has lost the Intercontinental Championship due to family drama, then went to SmackDown and cost The Bloodline the WWE Tag Team Championships. He then says he has someone to talk to, and he knows who he is. Jimmy Uso heads to the ring and thanks Jey for what he did on SmackDown, as they need to be together to take down The Bloodline, as they are "not the ones." Jey says they are "not the ones," either, and the last time he saw him, they were fighting each other. He says that a lot has happened and that people who know they are now that they are on their own, but no championships top being Jimmy's brother. Jey says they need to fix things, but if they do this, they will be themselves, not stooges or side pieces. Jimmy tells Jey that Roman Reigns will be at SmackDown so that Jey and Roman can iron out their differences, and Jimmy says he will make sure Roman is there. Jey agrees, then The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu) shows up. Tama and Loa attack first, then Solo sicks Jacob Fatu on Jimmy and Jey. Tama and Loa hold down Jimmy so that Jacob can wrap a chair around Jey's head. Before Jacob can go for the hip attack, Jey throws the chair at him. Jey and Jimmy take out Tama and Loa, then superkick Jacob out of the ring. General Manager Adam Pearce shows up with referees and security to hold The Bloodline back.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce calls SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis telling him to control his roster when The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Carlito, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan) shows up. Dominik Mysterio finds out that he has to face Damian Priest for a World title shot before Pearce leaves, but Damian says that is not a problem as he knows Damian's tricks. Finn Balor says that no one knows Damian more than him, but Dominik says he can beat him and earn a shot at becoming World Heavyweight Champion.

Sheamus beats Ludwig Kaiser.

We hear from Rhea Ripley, who says that Liv Morgan tried to paint a picture stating that she did not deserve a beating. She says that when Liv betrayed her, it was with malice and ego, while everything that has happened to them was earned. Rhea says she is coming for the Women's World title, and that they will have to kill her to stop her.

Backstage, Jey and Jimmy are met by Sami Zayn. Sami meets with Jey and wants to know what is going on, then tells Jey that he does not have to face Solo Sikoa's Bloodline as this is not his fight, but Jey tells Sami he would not understand because he is not family.

We hear from Gunther, who calls "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes "a gutless champion" and "a servant for everyone else" who drags those closest to him into his business, and tells Cody to pull Randy Orton aside to ask what it is like to be in Gunther's sleeper hold. He then says that Cody will soon wake up to the conclusion that he is the secondary champion to him.

Ivy Nile beats Zelina Vega after a brawl takes place on the outside when Julius Creed gets involved.

Backstage, Jey Uso meets with Jimmy Uso. Jimmy agrees that Sami Zayn is not family, but Jey reminds Jimmy that when he left The Bloodline, Sami stepped up. Jimmy says he will meet with Sami and that he is only going to talk to him.

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins heads to the ring. Rollins says that he is on the hunt for a monster, and while "Big" Bronson Reed is a monster, so is he. He says he put the monster side of him to bed a long time ago, but Bronson has woken something up in his soul and reminded him of what he is capable of. Rollins admits that he somewhat likes this, then he is interrupted by Bronson on the TitanTron. Bronson says he promised General Manager Adam Pearce that he would not have a repeat of last week, then dares him to come to the parking lot if he wants to fight him. Rollins tells Bronson not to go anywhere, then heads to the parking lot despite Pearce's protests. Bronson throws around a few security guards before he and Rollins brawl, which ends with a tractor-trailer door to Bronson's head followed by The Stomp to a car hood. As Rollins says this is just a taste of what will happen Saturday, Bronson gets up and attacks the security guards holding him down, and gets vengeance on Rollins before attacking him in the technical truck. Bronson then puts Rollins through several tables with a Death Valley Driver off the technical truck.

Backstage, R-Truth meets with Alpha Academy (Otis, Akira Tozawa, Maxxine Dupri), who says that they are doing better since they got rid of Chad Gable. The Miz shows up and apologizes to R-Truth, saying that The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Akam, Rezar, Paul Ellering) got into his head and he has seen the error of his ways. Alpha Academy steps in, but R-Truth says this is between him and Miz. R-Truth rejoins Miz only to smack him, saying "Good luck with The Wyatts (Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis, Nikki Cross)! Y'all gon' die!" He then walks off, asking Pete Dunne, who he calls Butch, if he has seen Pete Dunne.

The War Raiders (Ivar and Erik) beat The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed) and The Latino World Order (Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee) to become #1 contenders for the World Tag Team Championships after Xavier Woods fails to get on the same page with Kofi Kingston and Chad Gable shows up to put Rey Mysterio in an ankle lock.

It is announced that Seth "Freakin'" Rollins has been sent to a local medical center for testing and evaluation and that updates are forthcoming.

Backstage, The Miz is asking General Manager Adam Pearce for security when The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Akam, Rezar) show up. Karrion Kross tells The Miz that he will find Uncle Howdy and ask him why he is getting in his business, or else he will break his legs.

It is announced that WWE is returning to Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 26th.

Backstage, Jimmy Uso and "Main Event" Jey Uso both find Sami Zayn talking to Solo Sikoa in the parking lot. Jimmy tells Jey that family is all they have and that they and Roman Reigns have to do it on their own.

"Dirty" Dominik Mysterio beats Damian Priest with a roll-up to earn a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship after Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez distract the referee and JD McDongah and Carlito attack Priest only to get attacked back. After the match, an angry Priest hits Dominik with a Razor's Edge. He leaves the ring at first, but goes back in and bashes a chair into Dominik's back. Priest leaves the ring again, then returns yet again, and as Carlito checks on Dominik, Priest hits Carlito with South of Heaven before doing the same to Dominik.
