Collision Course - Collision recap for October 26, 2024

In exclusive post-show footage from after Dynamite, Chuck Taylor is taken out on a stretcher. Orange Cassidy goes off on Daniel Garcia, saying he did not want to do this, then says that on Wednesday, he will be "taking care of this." Orange then leaves the ring and heads to the back.

It is announced that Chuck Taylor is still recuperating in a hospital.

"Switchblade" Jay White beats Shane Taylor after "Rock Hard" Juice Robinson takes out "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty at the ring apron. After the match, Jay White says he has known Shane Taylor and admits he hits harder than he does, then addresses "Hangman" Adam Page, saying that Hangman also hits hard, which is why he gets under Hangman's skin so easily. He says that despite the year he has had, Hangman is still hellbent on coming after him, as despite how good Hangman is supposed to be, he has always been ahead of him. He says that his 5-0 record means Hangman does not have a leg to stand on, and he hopes that Hangman is rehabbing his knee and planning to hang him over the top rope with a leather belt until someone stops him before telling Hangman he had better not miss, as one mistake will cost him so much. Jay White then gives Hangman one more chance at redemption, and challenges him to a match at Full Gear.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Ricochet. Ricochet says he and MVP have a history, and that while Shelton Benjamin is a beast in the ring, he is out of this world, which is why he came to AEW to do his own thing. Lio Rush shows up and tells Ricochet not to act like he is the only person who has something to prove, as they also has history, and reminds Ricochet that he got a business card much like he did. Ricochet says he did not and does not plan to work with MVP, but Lio Rush warns Ricochet not to overlook him, as he will be getting a ticket to the back of the line instead of a shot at the International Championship if he loses tonight.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Kyle Fletcher, who now sports a fully shaven head. Fletcher says he did not come here to talk about his hair as he is here on family business to keep an eye on Ricochet, then says that if Will Ospreay shows up on Dynamite, it will be the last time he will be seen for a long time. He then says that if Ospreay does not show up, it will only prove that he is a selfish coward who is scared of "The Proto-Star." He then wants to face an up-and-comer on next week's show so he can prove that he is the now, not the future.

Penelope Ford beats Robyn Renegade by submission with the Muta Lock. After the match, Jamie Hayter appears on the video screen and challenges Penelope to a match at the November 6th Dynamite.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd). Magnum says they have been doing nothing but eating steaks and lifting weights and that they are ready to go. As Cash Wheeler says he is busy getting vascular, Dax Harwood says that Rush made a mistake in messing with them, and that FTR's road to the AEW World Tag Team Championships starts tonight. He says MxM Collection (Mansoor and Mason Madden) are not just a bunch of pretty faces, then The Outrunners head to the ring for the next match.

The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) beat MxM Collection (Mansoor and Mason Madden).

We see footage of Nigel McGuinness interviewing Wheeler Yuta. Yuta says that The Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, Marina Shafir) put an end to "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson's career before McGuinness could, and that they gave Danielson "a warrior's death" because he does not have the stomach for professional wrestling, and states that "The American Dragon" that McGuinness knew was long dead by the time he got into the ring at WrestleDream, and that they had to get him out of the way for the greater good. Yuta says he does not enjoy what he is doing, but The Blackpool Combat Club say they do what they do because they have to.

We hear from Jake Roberts and La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush, Dralistico, The Beast Mortos). Jake says that when one mentions FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler), everyone knows that it means great wrestling. He then wants to know if FTR can hang with La Faccion Ingobernable, and thinks they cannot, because La Faccion Ingobernable are assassins, not wrestlers, and that they plan to break FTR. RUSH says that La Faccion Ingobernable wants to destroy FTR.

Ricochet beats Lio Rush.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Harley Cameron, who has her face painted and calls herself "Thunder Harley," then says that Thunder Rosa would feel her wrath and asks Thunder Rosa how it feels "to be wrathed." Thunder Rosa shows up and scares Harley, then says she will have to show here what the facepaint really means next week following a brief explanation of The Day of the Dead.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews The Beast Mortos, Roderick Strong and Matt Taven. Roddy and Taven, still wanting Mortos on his side, give Mortos a bunch of candy, then Mike Bennett shows up in a Mortos mask to "translate" before Roddy invites Mortos to trick-or-treating.

Anna Jay beats Viva Van.

We hear from "The Glamour" Mariah May, who says that if Anna Jay left the business tomorrow, nobody would give a shit and someone else would take her place and waste five years of their lives. She says she did in nine months what Anna Jay took her career to do, and says that someone whonever gives up was never good enough in the first place. Mariah then says that she learned that nobody can touch her when she was in Japan and that Anna Jay is going to face the champion, and that she will step on every dream that Anna has ever had. She then says that when it come to "sink or swim," Anna is going to drown.

We see a video package for Adam Cole vs. Buddy Matthews on next week's Fright Night Dynamite.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Kyle O'Reilly and Tomohiro Ishii. O'Reilly says he finds it laughable that The Learning Tree thought they could run Ishii out of AEW, then says that Ishii is coming for Chris Jericho. He then says the word of the day is "honor," which he says The Learning Tree has none of. As for Orange Cassidy, he has never seen him more angrier than on Dynamite, and while has been keeping his eye on Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett), he is looking to the present and he is good with The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, O'Reilly, Orange, Rocky "Azucar" Romero, Ishii).

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) beat La Faccion Ingobernables (Rush and Dralistico). After the match, The Beast Mortos attacks FTR from behind, and Rush and Dralistico join in. The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) run in to make the save as Rush pulls out the camera cord, and force La Faccion Ingobernables (Rush, Dralistico, The Beast Mortos) to retreat to end the show.

Here are the highlights from tonight's show!
