Backstage, "The Iron Demon" Shane Mercer confronts Rocco Bellagio and threatens to destroy him like he has done to people twice Rocco's size as he makes an example out of him in his first match in Derby City Wrestling.
Alexis Littlefoot vs. Marti Belle ends with both competitors being attacked by Big Mama. After the match, Allysin Kay gets in the ring, and Big Mama says she will face Allysin in the ring on her time.
Backstage, Damon Becker interviews Mickey Midas and Myron Reed. Myron says it has been seven years since Midas first had his back, and now he wants to help Midas out like Midas helped him and "get the band back together." Midas agrees, and both men shake hands.
Dylan Bostic heads to the ring. Bostic says he is tired of the fans' disrespect, and that every week, he comes out and does what he says he will do, such as beating "The Pope" Elijah Burke, go on a massive winning streak, and go face to face with The Pope, whom he calls out. A man dressed like a papal figure shows up on the back of a golf cart and gets in the ring, and Bostic says he is tired of the man blessing the fans, then says he beat The Pope because he is blessed by God before slapping the man around. The real Pope shows up and tells Bostic he has half the mind to get in the ring and slap the hell out of him, but he will not do that because he will respect the wishes of the DCW Board of Directors. He then puts Bostic on notice, saying he will get in the ring and beat the hell out of him next week.
Backstage, Damon Becker interviews "The Golden Boy" Jordan Clearwater, who takes offense to being called "The Golden One," then says the United World Championship is not around his waist because of Jonny Loquasto and Danny Limelight. He says they are both scheming against him so that the title stays on Danny's waist, then says he does not appreciate Moose sticking his name in his business and that he should not have to qualify for what is his birthright. He says that Moose will find out what pure gold really looks like when he steps in the ring with him.
