Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for June 15, 2023

In backstage footage from earlier today, Dasha Gonzalez interviews Matt Sydal. Sydal says he took things into his own hands because this is how he does things. He says he has been on Joe's heels for years and that he is the only one to grab the microphone, call him out and proclaim himself the next ROH World Television Champion. Gonzalez then interviews Samoa Joe. Joe says an example needs to be made and that a lesson about ambition outstripping common sense needs to be learned. He says the path to becoming Television Champion does not go through him and that Sydal will learn that lesson.

Samoa Joe retains the ROH World Television Championship against Matt Sydal.

Nick Comoroto beats Deimos after using the ropes for leverage

Backstage, Dasha Gonzalez interviews The Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari and "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese) and "Smart" Mark Sterling. Sterling says Nese has something to get off his chest in the middle of the ring, and Nese says the fans are in for a real treat.

The Iron Savages (Boulder and Bronson) beat "Hot Sauce' Tracy Williams and Rhett Titus.

Backstage, Dasha Gonzalez interviews The Workhorsemen (JD Drake and Anthony Henry). JD Drake says that FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) is not here, but Mark Briscoe is, and Anthony Henry demands that Mark Briscoe "atone for the sins of FTR" tonight.

Diamante beats Teal Piper by referee stoppage.

Before the next match, "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese announces that The Premier Athlets (Ariya Daivari and "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese) have been striving to get the fans' respect, but they realized that they only get disrespect because they are not relatable. He says that they will not be "fat, digusting pieces of trash" like the rest of the fans and that the truth hurts, and that as personal trainers, they will turn all of the fans into athletes like them. Nese then says that they will be putting all of the wrestling on hold and that everyone in the arena will do a group exercise instead. He and Daivari lead a stretching exercise followed by squats and push-ups, Serpentico shows up.

The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) and Stu Grayson beat Dalton Castle and The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) in a trios match.

Backstage, Dasha Gonzalez interviews The Dark Order (Evil Uno, John Silver, Alex Reynolds). John Silver that if The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) and Stu Grayson want to get nuts, then they can get nuts, because they have seen their match and they are not impressed, because they can be more violent than that. Alex Reynolds says people have left them over the years and they have done nothing about it, but if they want to talk about how they used to be the lions of AEW, then this pride has been awoken. Evil Uno asks Stu Grayson if The Righteous are his family and brothers like The Dark Order was, then personally doubts it and states that they will have to wait and see.

Athena beats Trish Adora in an ROH World Women's Championship Proving Grounds Match. After the match, Athena sucker punches Trish, and Kiera Hogan runs into the ring only for Atehan to beat her up, too. When security and referees get involved, some members of security get levlelled, but Kiera Hogan gets the last word with a trash can lid. Kiera then pulls a table out from underneath the ring, but Athena tackles Kiera into it.
