At The Derby - Derby City Wrestling recap for June 18, 2023

We see an interview with Dane Becker and "The Pope" Elijah Burke where Burke simply smiles as if to laugh when asked about his match with Dylan Bostic.

The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) beat Technical Difficulties (Raheem de la Suede and "The Deliverer" Moses) after grabbing the tights.

Dane Becker interviews "Dead Ringer" Aaron Williams and Lord Crewe. Crewe says that they feel great and that they are used to victory, and Williams says he never paints a photo without making tweaks along the way, and that his mind works like clockwork. Jake Something shows up, saying that he knows they did something to Willie Mack and that it is not over between them.

Backstage, Dane Becker interviews Moose. Moose says that since he came to Derby City Wrestling, he has had tunnel vision, and at the end of the tunnel is the United World Championship. Before he can get to Danny, he has to go through "The Golden Boy" Jordan Clearwater, and next week, Clearwater will find out why he is "The Wrestling God."

Backstage, Dustin Starr interviews "Pretty" Peter Avalon. Last time he was on the broadcast, he was celebrating a victory over Robbie Walker after losing to Brian Myers twice and having to write a check to him for $10,000. Avalon says he is the biggest man in wrestling and that he is the United Wrestling Network, having been in UWN's first-ever televised match, the first-ever Red Carpet Rumble winner and a three-time Heritage Heritage Tag Team Champion ever while representing United Wrestling Network all around in the world and in All Elite Wrestling. He says that he is part of the UWN's Mount Rushmore and mentions that UWN has the audacity to cancel his check when they can cover $10,000, then mentions that he hurt his hand after reading a text from Brian Myers in the shower and slipping and falling. He says that Myers will get his money, and that all he needs to do is stop harassing him. He also says that he has taken out an insurance policy, and that time will tell and that the insurance policy will pay for itself. He then leaves Dustin hanging on the handshake.

Damian Chambers and Jayden Dominic Rose speak with Ted "The Trailer" McNaler. Chambers tells McNaler that he got lucky and beat him, then says that it is Jayden's fault that he won, then tells him to find a tag team partner so that they can do this again next week.

We hear from Danny Limelight, who says that he is coming back next week to commentary on Moose vs. "The Golden Boy" Jordan Clearwater. He says Clearwater has gotten on his last nerve after costing him his match with Jake Something and that Clearwater will have to get through Moose to get to him after asking Clearwater how many more title shots it is going to take.

Allysin Kay beats Big Mama.

We find out that Zicky Dice has collapsed and has been taken to the hospital. It is also mentioned that he has fired Garrisaon Creed and that "Beck Reeves can't hang with him," and that he "needs his own people, not just any people."

Dane Becker interviews Alexis Littlefoot. Littlefoot says Big Mama is a bully and got what she deserved for costing her her match, and that she is coming to take over the women's division.

"The Pope" Elijah Burke beats Dylan Bostic when Bostic's tactics of grabbing the ring bell so that the referee can take it away from him so he can remove a turnbuckle cover backfires, as The Pope avoids running into the exposed turnbuckle and sends Bostic into it for the win.
