205:Alive - 205 Live recap for December 5, 2018

The Brian Kendrick beats Drew Gulak by disqualification after "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher gets involved. After the match, Kendrick fights both Gulak and Gallagher, but the numbers game gets the better of him. Tozawa slides into the ring to save Kendrick, but he fares no better.

Backstage, General Manager Drake Maverick talks with Buddy Murphy. While Murphy has had a great 2018, he is still a polarizing Superstar and has made some enemies, especially with Cedric Alexander. As Maverick tells him the score, Murphy says he knows and says that it took two people for Cedric to beat him and that Mustafa Ali is the tougher opponent. He then says that if Cedric wants to prove exactly how good he is, then he proposes they go absolutely one-on-one next week, or have the both of them face their own opponents hand-picked by Maverick.

Ariya Daivari - now fighting in a tank top, boots and black denim pants - beats Clay Roberts by referee stoppage after numerous fierce clotheslines.

We hear from Mustafa Ali, who says that we all fall and that the hardest part is getting back up. He took the fall at Survivor Series, but now he gets back up. Mustafa calls last week a good first step, and says that Cedric Alexander has gotten the title shot he deserved. He then says that when it is his turn that his opponent should be ready to fight for their life, because he will be.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Cedric Alexander, who says that he will not turn on Mustafa Ali due to Buddy Murphy's mind games, and that he did not have to take shortcuts to the top. He accepts Murphy's challenge, saying the Age of Alexander is not always about being ready. He hopes that Murphy is prepared for what he has in store for him.

We hear from Noam Dar, who says he is usually easy-going. Unfortunately, Buddy Murphy cost him a match. He tells Murphy that if he is man enough, then he should step in the ring with him and find out why he is the star player of 205 Live.

The Lucha House Party (Kalisto and Lince Dorado) beat TJP and Mike Kanellis in a Tornado Tag Team Match.

We hear from "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese, who says that he broke Cedric Alexander and put him in such a downward spiral that it is surprised he even recovered. Nese says he has Cedric's number, and next week, Nese will dismantle Cedric and Cedric will never recover.
