Tonight's show is a "best of" show for 2018.

Drake Maverick is instated as General Manager and the ensuing Cruiserweight Championship tournament - January 30, 2018

Mustafa Ali vs. Cedric Alexander for the vacant WWE Cruiserweight Championship at WrestleMania 34 - April 8, 2018

We hear from Cedric Alexander, who says that it was mind blowing to compete against his best friend on the grandest stage of them all for a title he chased for two years. He says he will always have that night, but it hurt him even more to lose the title. One day, he will become a two-time Cruiserweight Champion.

We hear some New Year's resolutions from the Superstars of 205 Live.

We see a video package for The Lucha House Party (Kalisto, Lince Dorado, Gran Metalik).

Buddy Murphy vs. Cedric Alexander for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at Super Show-Down - October 6, 2018

We hear from Buddy Murphy, who knew he was going to win at Super Show-Down because he is the best cruiserweight in the world today. He says that Cedric Alexander was on borrowed time when he showed up, and he will be retiring with the title. He dares anyone who has a problem with this to do something about it.

We see the top 10 moments in 205 Live in 2018.

We hear from Drew Gulak, who says that this episode has been a celebration of everything wrong with 205 Live, not the best, and says that he is the best that 205 Live has to offer and that 2019 will be his best year yet for a better 205 Live.

Buddy Murphy's reign as Cruiserweight Champion

We hear from Mustafa Ali, who says he has given his heart to 205 Live, which has given him everything and more, and while the brands may have changed, he will always be the heart of 205 Live as you never know when the heart will beat again.

General Manager Drake Maverick thanks the fans for their continued support in 2018, and plans to start 2019 with a bang. He announces that in two weeks, there will be three qualifying matches where the winners face Buddy Murphy for the Cruiserweight title in a Fatal 4-Way Match. Those matches are Kalisto vs. Lio Rush, Akira Tozawa vs. Drew Gulak and Cedric Alexander vs. Hideo Itami.
