Buddy Murphy beats Gran Metalik.
Backstage, Akira Tozawa and The Brian Kendrick are met by General Manager Drake Maverick, who tells them their match against "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher and Drew Gulak next week will be a street fight. Kendrick admits that when he returned to WWE, he manipulated people because he was a desperate man. He manipulated no person worse than he did Tozawa, and says he is a changed man and wants to bring the Cruiserweight Division up. Tozawa agrees, but says Kendrick looks the same and this needs to change. He takes him to the side, then thanks Maverick for his time before "firing" him for losing the Raw tag team titles.
We hear from "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher and Drew Gulak, who say that they were trying to save The Brian Kendrick, and that this street fight will let them take this as far as they want and it is all legal.
Next week: The Brian Kendrick and Akira Tozawa vs. "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher and Drew Gulak in a Street Fight! Lio Rush returns!
Backstage, Kaylra Braxton interviews Ariya Daivari, who says that wrestling used to be simple: put two tough men in a ring until one of them wins. He says that all wrestlers care about are social media and dressing up flashy. He says that when he sat injured with a broken neck for seven months, he saw all flash and no substance. Hideo Itami then shows up and says he saw his match last week, and congratulates him. They shake hands, then Hideo Itami leaves. Daivari calls Hideo Itami "one of the last real men around here" and a man worthy of respect.
Cedric Alexander beats "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese. After the match, Buddy Murphy shows up, then runs into the ring and brawls with Cedric. The brawl ends with Cedric hitting a tope con hiro on Murphy, who then retreats.
