Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for December 15, 2018

Jay Lethal welcomes everyone to tonight's show, and announces tonight's annual Christmas Surprise ten-man tag. He and Matt Taven and the team captains, and they will be opening gifts to see who their partners are. The scene then switches to Matt Taven, who says that he hates surprise and that he does not want to be teamed with "a single Melvin." He says that the only present he has ever wanted is the facsimile ROH World Championship on his shoulder, and he, TK O'Ryan and Vinny Marseglia knock presents over as Taven says he hates Christmas.

Twisted Sisterz (Thunder Rosa and Holidead) beat Britt Baker and Madison Rayne.

Jay Lethal likes his randomly chosen teammates, while Matt Taven is far less than satisfied.

We look back on Jeff Cobb beating Punishment Martinez to become the ROH World Television Champion.

Backstage, Jay Lethal expresses to Caprice Coleman his dissatisfaction that for once, Cheeseburger is not on his team. Caprice tells Lethal to check under his desk, and Cheeseburger finds out that Cheeseburger is one of his tag team partners after all. Matt Taven, on the other hand, considers his tag team partner to be "another Melvin" like all the rest.

We look back on Jay Lethal winning the ROH World Championship for the second time.

We look back on SoCal Uncensored ("The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) beating The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) for the ROH World Tag Team Championships.

We look back on Sumie Sakai becoming the inaugural ROH Women of Honor World Champion.

Jay Lethal, Cheeseburger, Rhett Titus, Vinny Marseglia and Jeff Cobb beat Matt Taven, Jonathan Gresham, The Bouncers (The Beer City Bruiser and Brian Milonas) and "The Villain" Marty Scurll in a Christmas Surprise ten-man tag team match.
