Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for December 20, 2018

This week is the first part of the best of 2018.

Rich Swann says he has enjoyed every moment he has been in Impact, and he knows that he has made an impact since he stepped foot in the X Division. He says that the X Division is where it all started, and he cannot wait for the Ultimate X Match at Homecoming.

Tessa Blanchard says she came to Impact in 2018 because she traveled the world and proved herself, and that Impact was the only place left. She came to Impact to run through the entire Knockouts locker room and claim the Knockouts title. She then tells Taya Valkyrie that she will prove that Taya will be nothing more than "Johnny Impact's wife," and says that there is no way in hell that she will leave with the Knockouts Championship.

"The Machine" Brian Cage says 2018 has been "The Age of Cage," and says he could not have a better year. At Homecoming, he goes back to where it began to win the Impact World Championship.

Eddie Edwards says he has had an interesting year this year, but he is still alive and kicking. While things are a little bit different, he likes what this year has done to him, as it has made him what he is and he likes it. At Homecoming, Moose is coming to an end while his dream of hitting Moose with a Kendo stick will come true.

KM and Fallah Bahh look back on Fallah's match with Austin Aries for the Impact World Championship, and while Fallah may have lost, he proved he was World Champion material. They promise to become tag team champions in 2019.

Moose talks about his favorite moments of 2018 that took place outside of the ring, then says that after Homecoming, Eddie will not be coming back.

Johnny Mundo says 2018 was the year that Starship Pain crashed into the Impact Zone and he started his ascent up the Impact mountain. He talks about his match at Slammiversary and slamming Kongo Kong into a pool before winning the World Championship at Bound For Glory. He says it is good looking down from the Impact mountain, and next year - which stats with "The Machine" Brian Cage at Homecoming with the World title on the line - will start off with a bang. He hopes that Cage is, as he has his ticket for the Slamtown breakfast buffet punched.
