(It is revealed when the match begins that The Sultan was captured in the Middle East and had his tongue cut out for refusing to talk while being interrogated by the enemy. In reality, this is Fatu in a mask.)
The Sultan beats Jake "The Snake" Roberts with the Camel Clutch after Jerry "The King" Lawler tosses a vial of alcohol into the ring, distracting Roberts.
Owen Hart and Brian Pillman hype up the interview with Bret "The Hit Man" Hart at In Your House: Mind Games. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up and says he's going to get his answers as to when Hart is coming back.
Sunny unleashes a large poster of herself to give the gentlemen in the audience something "a little larger than life."

Bob "Spark Plug" Holly and Alex "The Pug" Porteau gets an upset win on The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) after the distraction from Camp Cornette (Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Jim Cornette), as Owen celebrates early on the apron with a bottle of wine, allowing Porteau to roll up Billy Gunn with a schoolboy. During the match, Jim Ross reveals that Diesel and Razor Ramon are returning live on Raw next week. Also, Camp Cornette showed up to watch the match from up close and also ruin the match for the Gunns.
WWF President Gorilla Monsoon says his attention concerning the return of Diesel and Razor Ramon piqued. He says that Kevin Nash and Scott Hall will not be returning as they are currently under contract with another organization (making this the first time that Diesel and Razor Ramon's real names are uttered on WWF programming). He apologizes to everyone who feel they have been hoodwinked or misled by Jim Ross' statements, and says that he will remain in the studio for the rest of the program to make sure no other misleading statements made, and that he will invoke his presidential privilege to come down swiftly on the perpetrator if they are. (A metallic clang is heard as Monsoon is speaking, and it is revealed that Jim Ross has left the commentary table in disgust.) After Jim Ross leaves, we see that Jerry "The King" Lawler is interviewing Jim Cornette and Vader. Cornette says he has a lot on his plate, and finds it preposterous that the WWF put him in the ring with Jose Lothario. He says that Vader has taught him wrestling and how to unleash the beast in him so he can be ready for Lothario at In Your House: Mind Games. We then see a young competitor named Tony Williams, who will be Cornette's "partner" in his "public workout." He says that this will be the first time the crowd will see a real man like him in competition. We see Cornette do an arm bar and a headlock, but Tony Williams is able to keep up with him and reverse his moves, much to Lawler's chagrin. Tony Williams manages to make some headway with Cornette, however, and Cornette ties him up on the ropes before slapping and berating him.
Jim Ross is back on commentary for the next match, insisting he had no intention of hoodwinking or misleading anybody. Also, Pat Patterson guests on commentary for the next match as it is announced that Patterson will be special guest referee for the finals of the Intercontinental Championship tournament that take place next week. WWF President Gorilla Monsoon also interjects himself into commentary during the match, saying that nothing has come across his desk concerning the return of Kevin Nash and Scott Hall as Jim Ross insists that Diesel and Razor Ramon will return next week and continues to stand by his story and his sources.
"Wildman" Marc Mero beats Owen Hart with his own cast behind the referee's back to continue to the finals of the Intercontinental Championship next week.
We see footage of the South African tour, as well as what could be Bret "The Hit Man" Hart's final performance in the WWF. We see footage of Hart calling Brian Pillman a liar, saying he made no commitment to have an interview with him at In Your House, and calls his brother Owen Hart as bad a liar as Owen, and tells Owen not to speak to him anymore. He says the fans are wondering how he's doing, and says he doesn't know exactly what it is he wants to do quite yet. It is then announced that Brian Pillman will be on Livewire to answer a lot of questions this Saturday on Livewire, which is premiering this weekend.

Faarooq Asaad continues to the finals of the Intercontinental Championship tournament next week. We see a message from Ahmed Johnson, where he tells Faarooq that he lit a forest fire after injuring him and that he will burn him up.
The Undertaker says he will never forget Goldust's name, as his name will be but the first of many to be destroyed on the way to Mankind and Paul Bearer. He tells Goldust this will be his final curtain and the premiere of the new Undertaker.
Paul Bearer tells "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels says he might be seeing him sweat from being in the boiler room, but Shawn will be sweating against Mankind at In Your House: Mind Games. Mankind ponders if taking the WWF Championship will make him a sexy boy, make the girls kiss him and whisper in his ear or if the women will run away in fear as he chokes himself with a rope.

Tony Schiavone apologizes to Sting for thinking he actually joined The New World Order, saying that Sting was in Japan - and not at Nitro - at the time and that commentary should have known this. (The author is not making this statement up and wants to beat his head on the desk.)
Earlier tonight, the nWo street team handed out flyers stating "Bad just arrived. We're here to stay." to people entering the arena.
Rey Mysterio Jr. beats Juventud Guerrera. Just before the end of the match, the nWo street team is seen celebrating their win in War Games last night outside of the arena.
Mike Tenay interviews "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael and Debra McMichael. Mongo tells Lex Luger to get Sting and tell him to come back, and Debra tells Luger that he and Sting. Benoit says he and Mongo prophesied that Luger and Sting would not deliver at War Games, and tells them to prepare to pay the price.
We see a video package of Glacier, who explains that he trained in the martial arts in Japan, and that he met some of Japan's best wrestlers as he taught the martial arts himself. Now he has put martial arts and wrestling together to create a superior style. He also explains the symbols on his armor, which is reminiscent of gladiators throughout time.
Diamond Dallas Page beats Ice Train after DDP grabbed Theodore Long's towel and threw it into the ring, and referee Nick Patrick takes it as Long throwing in the towel on Ice Train's behalf. During the match, it is mentioned that "Mean" Gene Okerlund has disappeared, with Okerlund having not appeared at Fall Brawl. (In reality, Okerlund's contract with WCW had expired and Okerlund tried to get back into the World Wrestling Federation. The WWF would eventually turn him down and he would eventually return to WCW until it closed in 2001.) Also, the nWo street team block the WCW merchandise table, and the match ends as the camera is focused on them, so the viewers get no chance to see what happened. After the match, Ice Train tries to get his hands on Nick Patrick.

Kevin Nash says there's nobody left in WCW to beat up.
Scott "Flash" Norton beats "Macho Man" Randy Savage after Savage attacks him with a chair. Referee Nick Patrick tries to stop Savage, but Savage simply tosses him to the floor.

The real Sting shows up. He explains that last Monday night, he turned on Nitro and saw everyone - fans, wrestlers, commentators - doubt him. It is noticed by commentary that Sting is not looking into the camera like he normally does, and is instead staring right at the fans in the front row. On Saturday night, he saw more of the same as he stayed in seclusion. At Fall Brawl, he told Lex Luger it wasn't him and was again doubted. He says he's been mediator and babysitter for Luger so many times in the last year, and he has carried the WCW banner and given blood, sweat and tears for WCW. He tells those that never doubted him that he will stand by them if they stand by him. For those that did, they can stick it. From now on, he considers himself a free agent, but that doesn't mean he's gone. Instead, he's going to pop up when we least expect it. The commentary team wonders if Sting will still be here tonight. Chris Jericho and Marcus Bagwell come out for the next match - a tag team match - but when "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair's music plays, Flair is nowhere to be seen. Backstage, Miss Elizabeth is still shaken after the events of War Games from last week, and is scared that The New World Order may be here. She stays behind as Woman tags along solo with Flair and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson. Before the match happens, The 1-2-3 Kid stands up on his seat, produces a remote control and presses a button. New World Order flyers fall from the roof of the arena as the nWo street team walk around carrying signs, and The 1-2-3 Kid is confirmed as the sixth man of The New World Order.
After the break, it is revealed that the nWo flyers have varying messages on them, such as "We beat you...now you pay all the bills" and "Now we do TV our way." Eric Bischoff states that he was forced by the New World Order to agree to give the New World Order their own show in order for War Games to happen last night, and now that the nWo has won, he has to do it.
The Four Horsemen ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson) beat Marcus Bagwell and Chris Jericho by pinfall during the Figure Four Leg Lock after Woman rakes Bagwell's eyes as referee Nick Patrick isn't looking. During the match, it is revealed that The 1-2-3 Kid is officially part of The New World Order as everyone else celebrates. The Giant plays something with a boombox, and it happens to be the the same message about trust that was heard when Sting was suspected to be a member of The New World Order, just before Lex Luger was attacked by the fake Sting. "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan declares that Sting has been stung.
Before the main event, it is revealed via director Craig Leathers that Sting is no longer in the building. Lex Luger has to face "The Crippler" Chris Benoit and Steve "Mongo" McMichael alone.
Lex Luger vs. "The Crippler" Chris Benoit and Steve "Mongo" McMichaels ends when "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson interfere in the match as Luger has Benoit in the Tourture Rack. Luger is able to fight everyone off for a while, but the numbers game quickly catches up with him. We then find out that The 1-2-3 Kid is officially known as "Syxx," and we then see The New World Order in their limousine watching the show from inside. Now that it has been revealed during the match by Eric Bischoff that a lot of WCW Superstars are heading to Japan next week and "Macho Man" Randy Savage is staying behind - much to the displeasure of Mike Tenay and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan - Savage is their next target.

All of a sudden, Sting shows up and Luger tells Sting to explain himself. Sting says that was not him in the limo, but Luger doesn't believe him. Sting tells Luger that if he doesn't believe him, then so be it. He'll see him in the ring in a while.
Before the War Games match, we learn that Hall and Nash's full names are Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, respectively. Also, the coin toss to decide the one-man advantage has to be held in the back to keep both sides separated. The New World Order wins the one-man advantage.
Near the end of the War Games match, Sting arrives for The New World Order...and World Championship Wrestling. It becomes apparent that Sting told the truth to his team, and there are now two Stings. The real Sting fights the opposition, then tells Luger "Is that good enough for ya?" before telling Luger to stick it and leaving the match. Not long afterwards, The New World Order (Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, Fake Sting) beats Lex Luger, Sting, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson with a Scorpion Death Lock on Luger as Hogan chokes Luger. After the match, The New World Order continues to attack Luger, and "Macho Man" Randy Savage goes after Hogan only to be attacked from behind by The Giant. Miss Elizabeth shows up, trying to cover Savage to protect him. Elizabeth gets spray painted in Savage's stead, then Hogan demands and gets a microphone, and make fun of Savage and Elizabeth's former marriage before spitting on the latter. After a victory pose, they spray paint the back of Savage and attack him, and referee Randy Anderson gets pushed to the ground trying to protect Miss Elizabeth. The show ends with The New World Order taking over the commentary table and Savage being helped to the back by Miss Elizabeth and a member of medical staff.

Super Calo beats Pat Tanaka in his Nitro debut by reversing a top rope superplex into a pinfall. During the match, an nWo street team with stacks of flyers is seen outside of the arena.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Rick Steiner backstage. Steiner is convinced he had Lex Luger beaten even though their match last week never started, and Lex Luger says he's focused this week in singles competition with him tonight as he's ready for War Games, which is good for him and bad for Rick. Rick Steiner is confused as to what is going on the entire time.
In another announcement paid for by the New World Order, Hall, Nash and The Giant hawk the official New World Order T-shirt, with all proceeds going to "The Ric Flair Retirement Fund."
Before the next match, The Amazing French Canadians (Jacques Rougeau and Carl Ouellet) sing "O Canada," much to the dismay of the crowd. The Nasty Boys (Jerry Sags and Brian Knobbs) cut their rendition of the Canadian national anthem short. After the match, "Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews referee Nick Patrick about the disqualification during last week's match between The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) and the team of Sting and Lex Luger. Patrick insists Luger intentionally hit him due to a vendetta against him from "all the lies [Okerlund's] been spreading about me" and asks why Luger hasn't been suspended from WCW. Okerlund says that Patrick has been in too many controversial calls for this to be coincidence, but Patrick says that Okerlund is stirring the pot and that the fans are pointing fingers at him, and insists that he is WCW all the way. After the interview, we see that The New World Order (Hall, Nash, "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, The Giant) are posting nWo flyers on cars in the parking lot as it rains outside while Ted DiBiase is talking to someone who is inside the limousine, raising the possibility of a sixth man in the nWo.

Luger can't even give answers to Anderson, but he wants in on War Games even more and heads out of the building to find answer from Sting. Flair says the confusion is over, and tells The New World Order (Hall, Nash, "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, The Giant, Sting) that they're going to town on Sunday. Anderson says this will be a fight to the death - the nWo's, not theirs. After the match, "Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews The Dungeon of Doom (Jimmy Hart, The Taskmaster, Big Bubba, Meng, Barbarian, Hugh MOrrus, Maxx, Konnan). Jimmy Hart is sick of everyone getting in his face concerning The Giant, and says when The Giant turned traitor and joined The New World Order, it was the beginning of the end for him and he just didn't know it yet. Big Bubba still wants to know if Glacier is going to show up and get a piece of him. Konnan is tired of the nWo and their public service announcements, and challenge them to come to the ring right now. The Taskmaster tells "Macho Man" Randy Savage to do them a favor and clear his debt with them by taking out John Tenta if he feels he owes them a debt for helping him to the back last week, and to watch his back at War Games. He also says you can't trust anyone around here, and if Sting will turn, who else will?

As Sunny brags about what Faarooq will do in the semi-finals, Sycho Sid shows up and stares down with Faarooq, but officials keep both men from going at it with one another.
Carlos Sabrera from the Spanish commentary table interviews "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and Jose Lothario in the ring. Michaels says that he has single-handedly dismantled everyone in Camp Cornette (Jim Cornette, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Vader) except for Cornette, and at In Your House: Mind Games, he's sending Jose Lothario to clean his clock as "The Heartbreak Kid don't beat on women." Lothario says it's personal between him and Cornette, and he plans to kick his butt like nobody has before. Shawn tells Mankind that he has run roughshod through the WWF until now, and while he never is the biggest or the strongest, he has more guts than brain and he plans to put a stop to Mankind at In Your House. He also tells Mankind and Paul Bearer that The Undertaker will find them and bury them both, but in the meantime, he tells Mankind not to hunt what he can't kill, as he won't be his mother or his friend, but he will be his daddy. As Shawn and Jose Lothario leave, it is announced that this month's Playgirl with Shawn on the cover is out now.

At In Your House: Mind Games, Bret will make an announcement that will shock the world. Owen says he know what Bret is going to say, but the rest of the world will have to wait. Jim Ross publicly apologizes for causing a snag in the return of Diesel and Razor Ramon, but still stands steadfast in the story and his sources.

Also, Jim Ross announces that negotiations to bring back Diesel and Razor Ramon are progressing very well, and promises to update the fans as they progress. Raw Deal - Raw recap for September 6, 1996 - Championship Friday Edition
Hunter Hearst Helmsley's escort tonight is a young woman simply named Kimberly.
Sycho Sid beats Hunter Hearst Helmsley to continue to the semi-finals of the Intercontinental Championship Tournament. After the match, Kimberly walks to the back with Mr. Perfect as Helmsley is knocked out cold.
Ahmed Johnson says that he's a little better, but he's not as good as he was before. There is still a chance that he can come back 100%.
Brian Pillman guests on commentary for the next match. Pillman says he has a big announcement concerning Bret "The Hitman" Hart's return, and that he will interview him at In Your House: Mind Games. He also says that Bret Hart and his brother Owen Hart have allegedly reconciled.
"Wildman" Marc Mero beats "Stone Cold" Steve Austin by disqualification after Austin strikes the referee. Mero goes on to the semi-finals of the Intercontinental Championship Tournament, but not before both men brawl.

Lawler makes fun of Jake "The Snake" Roberts, saying he "got bombed" just like the recent Atlanta Olympics. It is announced that Mark Henry has signed a contract with the World Wrestling Federation, and that he has made a lot of people made despite not having had his debut match yet. He says Lawler made Lawler mad as well as Jake Roberts, as Roberts wasn't finished with the Jim Beam Lawler was forcing down his throat. He then mentions Henry getting in Vader's face, and asks if Henry is crazy. Mark Henry says he's not crazy at all, and tells Lawler he doesn't like him or Vader very much, and that there are people in the WWF he doesn't particularly care for. Lawler challenges Henry to a match, and Henry is game. Henry says he hasn't gotten the proper work put in, and he knows when to lift and he knows when to wrestle, and that there will be a day. Lawler tells Henry he should have won a gold medal in cowardice, and Henry grabs Lawler by the collar and tells him he's got a match, and when he's done, Lawler will get a gold medal butt kicking.
Mankind beats Alex "The Pug" Porteau with the Mandible Claw. During the match, it is announced by Jim Ross that Diesel and Razor Ramor are on their way to the World Wrestling Federation and that "he has very reliable sources."
We see footage of the WWF Superstars at the Canadian National Exposition "Ex"perience in Toronto. Sycho Sid, with the help of some Special Olympics teammates, wins a tug-of-war match against Angus the elephant. The Superstars also had a meet and greet to sign autographs. A live WWF event also took place, which also featured a surprise appearance by "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, who was not even scheduled to be in Toronto.
Bob Backlund is in the ring. He says he is bringing back the man who will win the WWF Championship in the near future. He then introduces someone who will be that man's mentor and trainer, as well as a man he has "a lot of abomination" for: The Iron Sheik. Sheik tells Backlund it is a pleasure to be back, and talks about his championship reign and Olympic success.
The new fall season of Raw premieres September 21st and 22nd!
The Undertaker tells Goldust his time is up, and that nobody can save him now. The end is at hand, and Goldust will rest in peace.
It is announced that Shawn Michael has posed for Playgirl, and he will be on the issue that goes on sale this Monday. The move has supposedly not pleased a lot of WWF officials.
"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels retains the WWF Championship against Goldust after reversing the Curtain Call and beating Goldust with the moonsault from the top rope like he did against Vader at SummerSlam. During the match, Mankind watches Shawn defend the title against Goldust from a distance, saying he has a surprise for Shawn. After the match, Mankind rushes into the ring from the crowd and tries to double-team Shawn along with Goldust, but Shawn Michaels quickly flees as Paul Bearer joins Mankind.

During the match, Mankind watches Shawn defend the title against Goldust from a distance, saying he has a surprise for Shawn. After the match, Mankind rushes into the ring from the crowd and tries to double-team Shawn along with Goldust, but Shawn Michaels quickly flees as Paul Bearer joins Mankind.

He says that everything people have said about him are a lie, and he insists that he will be impartial regardless of whoever is in the ring.

They are suddenly attacked by The Nasty Boys, and Booker T is hit with a double-team spike piledriver.

He says that they will be victorious in War Games at Fall Brawl, and calls Sting and Lex Luger's partnering up with "The Nature Boy" and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson "weak" and says times have changed.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour.
"Macho Man" Randy Savage beats Big Ron Studd. During the match, Hall, Nash and "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan are seen coming out of the limousine outside of the arena, and they quickly get the cameraman out of their sight after telling an unknown person to stay in the limo. After the match, "Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Savage, who wishes Halloween Havoc was tonight as he guarantees to Okerlund and the fans that he is going to beat "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and take everything he wants as that makes him happy. He's living on the edge, and if anyone else isn't, they're "takin' up too much room." He tells The Giant they made a deal and he broke his promise, and now he takes over. He guarantees victory against The Giant and against Hogan, and says both men will melt when the heat of the Macho Man brings them all the way down.
The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) beat Sting and Lex Luger when Rick Steiner accidentally pushes Luger into referee Nick Patrick, who takes it as Luger "striking a WCW official" and calls for the disqualification. All four men are absolutely livid, and Sting and Luger chase Nick Patrick to the back. During the match, The Four Horsemen surround the limousine, but find out that Hall, Nash and "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan are in the arena as soon as they discover the limousine is empty.
The Four Horsemen ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael) beats The Dungeon of Doom (The Taskmaster, Meng, The Barbarian, Big Bubba) with a Figure Four Leg Lock on The Taskmaster after Woman gives Flair the assist. During the match, Sting and Lex Luger continue to chase Nick Patrick all the way to the limo. Patrick takes a right, but Sting and Luger see "The Million Dollar Man" inside the limo, outing him as "the fourth man." Sting throws a cement block into a back window and tries to get him out with help from Luger, but the limousine speeds off, leading Sting and Luger to steal a nearby police car and chase after the speeding limo with it. The nearby police officer (who gives no effort to keep them from stealing the car, by the way) puts out an APB on the limo. After the match, The New World Order (Hall, Nash, "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan) show up and attack everyone. The Giant shows up, but instead of making the save for The Dungeon of Doom, he hits Meng and The Barbarian with the choke slam, revealing The Giant as the other mystery man The New World Order has mentioned and causing him to turn heel as a result. "Macho Man" Randy Savage tries to attack everyone in the nWo with a steel chair, but he quickly falls to the numbers game. Hogan spray paints a yellow streak down Savage's back after the beatdown. The New World Order then take over the broadcast booth again, and Hogan says there are more than five men. The Giant says that Ted DiBiase gave him a ton of money to join The New World Order after he saw multiple Harley-Davidson motorcyles and Mercedes-Benz automobiles in DiBiase's mansion as he and the rest of the nWo spit on the Monday Nitro logo that hung on the broadcast table. Before The Giant can finish, the WCW locker room goes after the nWo, but the nWo finish them off. The show ends with the nWo completely destroying the broadcast booth and a shot of The Dungeon of Doom helping Savage to the back.
