Before the next match, Kanyon says Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) is back together, but nobody cares, and he and Bam Bam Bigelow plan to prove that by beating "those fruit booties" in the center of the ring. Diamond Dallas Page then jokes alongside Kanyon and Bigelow that "The Canadian Crippler" Chris Benoit's mother is so ugly that the judges at an ugly contest said "Sorry, no professionals" when she tried to enter. He then explains that the reason he helped David Flair last week is because David defends the United States title way better than Benoit ever could have, and tells Benoit "you ain't got it" before saying he will never have it and will have to live with it, while David Flair has "it" way more over than him.
Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) beats The Jersey Triad (Kanyon and Bam Bam Bigelow) after "The Canadian Crippler' Chris Benoit stops an interference attempt from Diamond Dallas Page. Benoit then grabs the microphone and says that once upon a time, he valued DDP's opinion, but then he showed everyone what he was all about, and says it is indeed his time and his turn and that he's got a lot more than DDP has. He also tells DDP not to bring his mother into this.
Lenny Lane and Lodi have a laugh about Ernest "The Cat" Miller's dancing shoes being switched with bunny slippers last week, and Lenny even mentions that he had a pair just like those when he was a kid. Lodi says those were his, but Lenny tells him he had the footy pajamas. Lodi says he still liked those slippers, though, and both men agree that they need to find out where The Cat shops.
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.
WCW President Sting shows up. He says there was tag team action last week, and it didn't turn out the way that he would have wanted it to. He has a pair of wrestlers in the back that he wants to see tonight: Sid Vicious and Rick Steiner. Last week, Hollywood Hogan stepped up and wanted him to be his partner, and now he is the one doing the asking. The crowd unanimously wants Goldberg to be Sting's partner, and Sting asks Goldberg to be his tag team partner tonight. He says he will be back at the top of the hour to get his answer and see if it is showtime.
It is announced that Buff Bagwell will take on Ernest "The Cat" Miller at Road Wild on Saturday, August 14th.
Before the next match, Ernest "The Cat" Miller can pretend paint his face Black and pretend to dance around like him, but he says it only would have been funny in the 1920s. He also says that he can whup anybody without his red dancing shoes, as he is a three-time world karate champion and did it without the shoes. He says that it may be funny to the fans, but it was not funny to him, and now he is about to show Buff what is going to happen to him in two weeks. He then addresses that there were two "girly guys" in the back talking about the slippers, and if they want to know where they came from, they can get in the ring. Lenny and Lodi show up, and tells them to get in the ring so he can tell them where he got the bunny slippers. They get in the ring only to get their heads smashed into each other.
Ernest "The Cat" Miller beats Lenny Lane after Lodi runs into a Feliner as he chases Sonny Onoo around the ring.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Hollywood Hogan. Hogan says that at Road Wild, he has a date with the devil. He ran with Kevin Nash, but he did not know how low he would stoop until last week when he left him laying in a puddle of his own blood. He does not blame TNT or Time Warner for pulling back on the cameras, because it was a pretty grotesque sight. He says that his frenzy has been fed over the last week, and when he made it to Sturgis, South Dakota, he went to a health food store, and he couldn't figure out if the men were fainting over the look on his face or if the women were fainting because he was freshly shaven. The way things go, Kevin Nash has a date with him at Road Wild. He says it is no secret that he and Nash do not like each other, and that they have been playing games in the dressing room with Nash trying to take his spot on the WCW roster. He says Nash is no different from anyone else who has tried, and he will kick his butt at Road Wild. Since he has nothing to do tonight but wait for him to enter the building, he challenges him to a match for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and promises to kick his butt if Nash has the guts to get in the ring.
Sting shows up again, and asks Goldberg if it is showtime. Goldberg is seen approaching the ring, but Rick Steiner gets his attention, asking if he wants some. He goes after Rick only to be attacked from behind by Sid Vicious with a shovel and locked in a nearby storage closet. Sting sees this on the video screen and runs to the back only for Rick and Sid to ambush him. Rick Steiner and Sid Vicious then drag Sting back to the ring, but Sting comes to and fends off both men until he gets choke slammed by Sid. Goldberg then breaks out of the storage room and runs to the ring, clearing it out. Goldberg then picks up the microphone and says "Why wait?"
Disco Inferno beats Evan Karagias.
We see Torrie Wilson and David Flair sitting on a couch. Torrie tells Davis he must be the hardest working champion of all time. David says he is the greatest of all time. Torrie then asks why David is fending the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship so much. David says hhe doesn't know, but he has been talking to his father, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, who has told him that he has to defend it every 30 days, and with Charles Robinson as his referee, he can defend the title whenever he wants. He says he has beaten everybdoy, and that it is now time for his body to be given some rest.

Before the next match, Curt Hennig shows up and says that for the last ten years, there has been all kind of wrestlers trying to act, walk, and wrestle like him, and calls them "Curt Hennig wanna-bes." Now that "Rap is Crap" has come to the top, someone else has been trying to jump on the country and western scene, and that man is Chad Brock, who will be performing next week on Nitro. He tells Brock that if he is going to use TNT and Nitro, he is wrong, because he is short, fat, bald and ugly and nobody likes that kind of person. He also has heard that Warner Bros. Records has signed Brock to a record deal, and wants to know which of the Warner brothers actually signed him: dumb or dumber. Hennig then notices Perry Saturn and makes fun of the dress that he has worn in the past as well as all the tattoos that he has, and says he's from Uranus. Saturn tries to get Hennig, and when Bobby Duncum Jr. attacks Saturn from behind, Saturn hits him with a Death Valley Driver almost immediately before telling Hennig that this is his time and daring him to get in the ring before calling him a "stupid redneck." "Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. Dennis Rodman is official for Road Wild.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Gorgeous George does not accompany Savage to the ring. Okerlund asks Savage not to take his questions personally, as he is only the messenger. Savage says that he got off the phone with his campaign manager, Brett Carter, and says his campaign for President of the United States is on hold at this time because he has a hit list to prove to the United States of America that he can take out the trash. He says George is under lock and key, and tells Hollywood Hogan and Kevin Nash that they are dad and Dennis Rodman "you're really dead." He says he has a date with destiny, and so does Rodman, when they meet head-to-head at Road Wild, and calls Rodman out so they can get it on right now. All of a sudden, Mona shows up and tells Savage to reconsider about firing her and Madusa. Savage says it would show a kind side of him, and but gets a tad hostile when he questions her loyalty to him, grabbing her by the chin. He tells Mona to get on her knees and beg for her job back, then says he has reconsidered and that she is still fired. He then tells Rodman to "get his ass out here right now." Rodman shows up with 4x4 and Swole of The No Limit Soldiers, and asks "Macho Asshole" if he is mad because he had sex with his girl. Savage tells Rodman to "get [his] punk ass in here right now, so we can rock this place." Rodman heads down the ramp with 4x4 and Swole, and tells Savage "once you go Black, you never go back." Savage tells Rodman that just because he's been somebody else's bitch all of his life does not mean he can come after his. Rodman leaves, then Mona hits Savage with a low blow before Rodman gets in the ring and clotheslines Savage from behind before hitting a few elbow drops. Bischoff asks for (and gets) both microphones to be cut off, and apologizes for the choice of words used on-air, which are all silenced out. Rodman asks for a microphone but does not get one.
Sting vs. Sid Vicious is announced for Road Wild.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Goldberg, who shows up with a tumbler. He says that ever since he lost the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, he has been on the receiving end of the ultimate screwjob. He was conveniently left off last month's pay-per-view, and if WCW President "The Nature" Boy Ric Flair has it his way, he will be left off of this month's. As for tonight, he takes matters into his own hands. He says that the tumbler and the numbers in it are part of "The Goldberg lottery" tonight, and everyone's name is in it including Flair's. The name he pulls right now is the next victim at the next pay-per-view. Suddenly, Kevin Nash shows up, makes a reference to Bret "The Hit Man" Hart's metal plate underneath his jersey from last week, and says he has done this for 10 years and says that in 10 years' time, everyone will be talking about him because he stopped Goldberg's streak. Goldberg tells Nash he can live in the past all he wants, but today is another day. Nash does Goldberg a favor and tells him to forget about the lottery because he has him at Spring Stampede. Goldberg wishes himself a merry Christmas and leaves.
WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, the latter of whom is on the phone, witness what has happened between Goldberg and Kevin Nash on a monitor. Anderson tells Flair he will take care of it.
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.

At the WCW offices, Kevin Nash and WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair have gotten done talking. Nash runs into Hollywood Hogan, who is surprised that Nash is talking with Flair. Nash says he is just taking care of business and that it is just business, and after Nash leaves, Hogan says to himself "It'd better be."
At the WCW offices, Nash is seen talking to referee Charles Robinson, who is in a suit and tie. Hogan walks in on Nash and Robinson as Robinson leaves, and wants to know what is going on. Nash says he is just making sure Robinson is in their back pocket, but Hogan wants to know why Nash is not returning any of his calls and wants to know if they are on the same team. Nash tells him they are on the same team, and Hogan says that Nash's attitude has been different from when they first jumped into the reunification of the nWo. Nash says he is just tired.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. As far as Goldberg goes, Goldberg is a former champion wanting to be where he is, and says Kevin Nash made himself look good tonight by calling him out and making a match against him at Spring Stampede. Since Flair feels so good about himself tonight and looks as only he can look, he takes the World title off of Spring Stampede and will defend the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Hollywood Hogan here tonight. Hollywood Hogan rushes in and says he and the nWo-ites are tired of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, and taht he has no problem kicking his butt tonight. Flair says that he can take the match away as fast as he made it if he touches him before match time. Hogan says he will not lay a hand on him until he gets dressed for the ring, because as soon as he does, the title will be his and he will prove he is the most powerful man in wrestling today. Flair says he is making the match tonight because one of them needs to know who the man is. Hogan says he hopes Flair is that fired up when the match starts, because when it happens, the title is coming back to him as it was made for him. Flair says this will be the last time he ever hears Hogan's name ahead of his, and Hollywood Hogan agrees, saying that he will never give him another title shot for as long as he is World champion. All of a sudden, Diamond Dallas Page shows up and says it is no secret there is no love lost between him and them, and that it is no secret that this is a main event worthy of the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. The only thing that he thinks would make it better is if Flair made it a three-way dance. Flair deems the idea preposterous, and DDP says he is sick and tired about them whining about the belt. Hogan is okay with it, saying he'll both them both and take the World title. Flair tells Hogan this is between the two of them. Goldberg shows up, and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson is seen backstage watching what is taking place on a monitor. Goldberg tells Flair he didn't make himself clear, and that if the World title is involved, he is in the dance. Flair says he didn't make himself clear, and tells Goldberg he isn't doing anything tonight. Goldberg grabs Flair by the coat collar and tosses him to the mat. Flair tells Goldberg he is in a lot of trouble as he leaves the ring, and says he'll see all of them in the ring. DDP leaves, then Hogan and Goldberg stare off in the aisle.
Before the next match, Scott Steiner tells the crowd they have someone to cheer for, and calls Diamond Dallas Page the biggest piece of white trash in WCW. He says DDP made two statements and told two lies: that he wanted revenge against him (which Scott rebuts by asking Page why he didn't get in the United States title tournament and meet him in the finals) and that he didn't agree to give him Kimberly for 30 days after SuperBrawl IX (which Scott rebuts by saying that DDP did not comply after seven days and that the matter will be dealt with in a court of law). He says that is neither here nor there, as all the women are on his rollercoaster of love, and that he does not have 30 days or 30 nights for Kimberly, to explain why all the "hooches" say there is nothing finer than Scott Steiner, or to show Kimberly what a physical "phenonemon" he is, but all he needs is one night for Kimberly to call him "Big Bad Booty Daddy" for the rest of her life. If DDP wants revenge against him, he will have to give Kimberly up to him for one night, and he will soon be nothing but a memory. When Meng shows up for the match, Scott Steiner is seen yelling at Tony Schiavone for supposedly talking trash.
Scott Steiner beats Meng to advance in the United States title tournament after countering the Tongan Death Grip with an eye poke and a low blow before using the ropes for leverage during the pinfall. During the match, it is announced that the Four Corners Match for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship later tonight will be a Texas Tornado match, which means that Goldberg, Kevin Nash, Diamond Dallas Page and "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair will all be in the ring at the same time.

Nitro debuts a brand-new set. The commentary table is moved to ringside, and the commentary table is changed to a two-man team of Tony Schiavone and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan for the entire show. (Mike Tenay and "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko are moved to Thunder.)

WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and Kevin Nash meets in Flair's office.
We see a video package for Scott Steiner.
Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for September 28, 1998
The show starts with a performance by The Nitro Girls.
Eric Bischoff and Hollywood Hogan show up, and Scott Hall (who is much more sober this time around) and Brian Adams join up with them as they are halfway down the aisle. Hogan says that the fans were begging Hogan to step on them so his feet could not touch the ground, and that you can fool some of the wrestling fans some of the time, but you can never fool a black-and-white nWo-ite anytime. Hogan brags about making wrestling and WCW what they are today, and if it wasn't for him, all the fans' heroes would be zeroes. He then says the wrestling fans are just as gullible as the wrestlers he will pluck off one at a time. He says he is on a mission where he will beat The Warrior at Halloween Havoc and prove to him that the running and the hiding from him only delayed the inevitable. He then challenges Sting and Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, and if they have the guts, he will rip them apart. Tonight, he takes his business back and nWo Hollywood takes over once again.
La Parka beats Super Calo. After the match, Super Calo beats La Parka up with his own steel chair.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Bret "The Hit Man" Hart. He says he is not worried about his bad knee, and says has he has waited a long time to get his hands on Hollywood Hogan, and that he and Sting have agreed to give him the first shot at Hollywood Hogan. Hart plans to get back at Hogan for leading him down the wrong path and hiding from him for years, and that he has people watching his back. He says it is time to settle the score, and that Hogan will be a zero as Hart plans to prove that he can be a hero for the fans. All he needs is one chance.
The Disciple beats Sick Boy.
We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.
Before the next match, Scott Steiner says it is easy to see that not all men are created equal when he steps into the ring, and if there is a man who looks as great as he does, he would like to meet him as he does not exist.
Scott Steiner beats Lenny Lane and Nick Dinsmore in a handicap match with a double Steiner Recliner. After the match, Scott Steiner puts his lower back out.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour.
The Warrior shows up. He calls out Hollywood Hogan, saying he knows who Hogan is and who he himself is, and what the Warriors want to see. He says Hogan has brought nothing but disappointment, and he senses that disappointment in the fans. He sends Hogan a message: since his return, Hogan has brought nothing before him except a pittance of the man he once knew. A fan is caught by security trying to rush the ring before he can continue speaking at this point. He calls the fan an example of that disappointment and "a lost Warrior," as Hogan has not answered the ultimate challenge. When Hogan looks at him, he sees only a piece of himself, and he refuses to make himself less than what he is until Hogan finds who he needs to be. At Halloween Havoc, he will become full-blown, and Hogan will face the challenge for the second time of his life.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Buff Bagwell, who apologizes for being out of breath. He has had to put Scott Steiner in the ambulancebut before he can say anything else, the wicked laughter is heard again, and Buff briefly thinks it is Okerlund until Okerlund says otherwise. Buff then says he has three ruptured discs in his lower back, and that Scott is hurt and that the match at Halloween Havoc may not happen. He then tells Rick Steiner to suck it up.
Before the next match, Ernest "The Cat" Miller tells Psychosis he is a three-time world karate champion, and that he can tear him apart in seconds. He gives him the count of five to leave the ring, and if he is still there, he will give him the beating of his life. Psychosis does not even leave, due to him not knowing English. Upon finding this out, The Cat then hits Psychosis with a standing side kick.
Ernest "The Cat" Miller beats Psychosis. After the match, The Cat declares that he is the greatest and that he is a bad man.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Alex Wright, who immediately starts speaking German before realizing Okerlund cannot speak German and calls him an old midget. He then asks the crowd how it feels to grow up in a city like Rochester, New York, and says it makes them feel like losers. He then says he sees another loser in the locker room who is "shaking like a leaf:" The British Bulldog. He says Bulldog is spineless because he did not answer his challenge at Thunder last week, and gives him another chance to come out to the ring. He also says he is much better looking and a much better wrestler, he is also a much better dancer. His music hits and Wright starts dancing, then the next match happens.
Disco Inferno beats Chavo Guerrero, Jr. after jabbing the stick of Pepe into Chavo Guerrero's throat behind the referee's back. Juventud Guerrera shows up and tries to tell the referee what happened, but Disco beats him up, once after he shows up and again as Juvi checks on Chavo.
We see a video package of The Four Horsemen ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, "The Enforcer' Arn Anderson, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael, Dean Malenko).
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews The Four Horsemen ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, "The Enforcer' Arn Anderson, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael, Dean Malenko). Eric Bischoff, Stevie Ray and head of WCW security Doug Dellinger show up before Flair can even get started, and they bring local law enforcement with him. Bischoff tells Flair that felony assault charges have been filed against him from putting his hands on Stevie Ray on Thunder. He orders that the Horsemen be arrested along with Dellinger, who he says failed to do his job that night. Bischoff then brings up Flair's younger son Reid again, and calls Flair a disgrace before saying Flair is a coward then and a coward now. He also attests that Flair lives vicariously through his ten-year-old son's wrestling career.
Chris Jericho heads to the ring with his own personal security in a parody of Goldberg's entrance again. This time around, they find the ring much faster than they did at Fall Brawl. When Goldberg shows up this time, it is the real deal, and Goldberg carries the man who played the fake Goldberg over his shoulder. A surprised Jericho shoves two of his personal security into the path of Goldberg, who immediately Spears both of them and Jackhammers one. Jericho flees, and Goldberg tells him he is next.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Diamond Dallas Page. DDP says he and Goldberg respect each other, but at the same time, they have a highly competitive nature. When he thinks about getting in the ring with Goldberg, it takes him to a whole new level much like Sammy Sosa and Mark McGuire. He knows that he is not the only one wanting the World title as The Four Horsemen ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, "The Enforcer' Arn Anderson, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael, Dean Malenko), nWo Hollywood and nWo Wolfpac all want it, too. He says the Horsemen may be for a long time, nWo Hollywood forever and nWo Wolfpac for life, but at Halloween Havoc, he will be for real.
Scott Hall beats Kidman. During the match, Scott Hall tries to get a drink again (despite Vincent telling him he has to win before he can get drunk), but Kidman punches him in the gut mid-sip.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the third hour.
Before the next match, The British Bulldog says Alex Wright can dance all he wants, but he's been all over the world and Eight can't even lace the boots of his 11-year-old son in the back. He then tells Alex Wright to "suck it."
The British Bulldog vs. Alex Wright ends in a no-contest. During the match, Alex Wright's boot knocks down referee Billy Silverman as The British Bulldog puts Wright in a power slam. Referee Charles Robinson shows up as The Bulldog tries to revive Silverman. Wright pins Bulldog with a gut wrench suplex, and both referees get in the ring and count at the same time. Since both men have their shoulders down at the same time, Billy Silverman believes Bulldog won, but Charles Robinson says Alex Wright won. Wright attacks Bulldog after the match. During the replay, it is is seen that both men got their shoulder up at the same time.
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.
A fan is seen standing in front of Kevin Nash on the stage before the next match.
Kevin Nash beats Brian Adams by disqualification after Stevie Ray and Vincent shows up and Stevie Ray hits Nash with a slapjack. Scott Hall, now with a drink in his hand, shows up, then dumps the drink out of the cup before punching and kicking at Nash. Lex Luger and Konnan then rush into the ring, and the black-and-white nWo members scurry out of the ring.
Lex Luger and Konnan beat Barry Darsow and Hugh Morrus with a Torture Rack on Barry Darsow. Konnan gets a Tequila Sunrise on Morrus just before the match ends.
We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.
Hollywood Hogan vs. Bret "The Hit Man" Hart ends in a no-contest. During the match, Hogan works on Bret's injured knee, and Sting, Lex Luger and Konnan have to defend Bret from Hogan. Bret tries to get back in the ring, but Sting, Luger and Konnan tell him he is in no shape to fight, and Bret is placed on a gurney . Sting then takes his trenchcoat off, and Sting takes the match. (This ends up being the only time Hogan and Bret face each other in the ring.) As Konnan and Luger take Bret to an ambulance, Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell - dressed as surgeons - attack them. Scott Steiner unhooks Bret from the gurney, and Bret limps back to the ring. He gets back in the ring, cheers Sting on and then suddenly hits Sting with a DDT before pummeling him. Hogan bows down to Bret "The Hit Man" Hart who is not even hurt, and Bret puts Sting in the Sharpshooter. Hogan then tosses Bret a steel chair, and Bret catches it before smashing it into Sting's knee and putting him in a Figure Four Leg Lock on the ring post. Hogan mocks Sting, saying Sting has quit, then Konnan rushes to ringside, as does Luger. Luger and Konnan help Sting out of the ring.
Eric Bischoff and Hollywood Hogan show up, and Scott Hall (who is much more sober this time around) and Brian Adams join up with them as they are halfway down the aisle.

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for September 21, 1998
The show starts with Scott Hall - with a giant paper bag full of bottles clinking inside - telling head of WCW head of security Doug Dellinger that someone has wrecked his car. Once again, Scott Hall is noticeably drunk, and he tells Dellinger he doesn't tell him what to do as he has a ton of bosses and that he is not one of them when Dellinger recommends that Hall get some coffee to sober up.
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.
Fog and smoke envelops the ring again, but when it clears, The Disciple - who has not been seen since last week - is seen face down in the middle of the ring. The nWo Hollywood contingent heads to the ring only for fog to fill the ring up again. The Disciple disappears, and we hear the voice of The Warrior, who is up in the rafters. Hogan tells Warrior to get in the ring, but The Warrior - who now has The Disciple at his side - tells Hogan that he has been running to hide while he has been running to re-appear. Hogan tells The Warrior to confess that he is scared of him, but The Warrior tells Hogan he will take all the possessions that he believes have value in his life, starting with The Disciple, who kneels besides him as he has not been instilled with the power of the warriors. He then tells Hogan to keep a eye out throughout the evening, for the OWN revolution broadens its scope while the plot of Halloween Havoc thickens, and he guarantees Hogan that he and all the worships will feel the power of The Warrior.
Fit Finley beats Barry Darsow.
Wrath beats Nick Dinsmore.
We see a video package of Goldberg and Diamond Dallas Page ahead of the WCW World Heavywight Championship match at Halloween Havoc.
Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men is seen in the front row before the next match.
Rick Steiner quickly beats Rick Fuller, then calls out Scott Steiner that they go way back and that he's beaten him up since he was one year old. He says is 9,000-0 against Scott and that Halloween Havoc will be 9,001. He also tells Buff Bagwell that when he gets him into the ambulance, it will be for good. Wicked laughter is then heard throughout the arena again.
nWo Hollywood makes it way out to the ring again, and Hollywood Hogan calls out The Warrior again while telling him to leave The Disciple out of it. The Warrior shows up and tells Hogan that if he has any courage, to follow him. The nWo Hollywood contingent follows Hogan as The Warrior disappears, and they all make their way to the back. Hogan's dressing room is vandalized yet again, with the sign of the Warrior on the wall with flames coming out if it. Hogan then finds The Disciple in a nearby bathroom, lying on his side. A fire extinguisher is sprayed into the bathroom (which seems to be clearly set off by the cameraman), and when the room clears out, The Disciple is gone again, much to Hogan's shock.
Before the next match, Raven says that loyalty is dead, as he gave to The Flock and they repaid him with their desertion. FOr the crimes perpetrated against him by The Flock, someone has to pay, and Raven takes his anger out on Villano IV and V.
Raven and Kanyon vs. Villano IV and V ends very quickly at the word of referee Nick Patrick after Raven and Kanyon hits Villano IV with a combination power bomb and neckbreaker, which Raven accidentally botches by dropping too early on the neckbreaker. Raven and Kanyon seem to be checking on the Villano along with trainer Danny Young in a rare breaking of kayfabe, then leave the ring. Tony Schiavone, Mike Tenay and "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko watch the replay of this and come to the conclusion that Villano IV was dropped hard on his neck, and Villano IV is helped back to the back. (The injury almost forces Villano IV to retire, but he eventually comes back and teams with Villano V again in 2000.)
We see footage from earlier today where Disco Inferno finds out that he is over the weight limit for the Cruiserweight division, and that he has to get down to the limit in two hours before he can face Kidman for the Cruiserweight title later tonight.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour.
Alex Wright shows up, speaking in German and mocking the American fans. He says he is sick of the United States, its people, and WCW, and there is one specific American wrestler that disgusts him: Diamond Dallas Page. He calls out DDP, challenging him to a match, and if he wins, he wants his World title shot at Halloween Havoc. DDP shows up, taping his hands before he walks down the ramp.
Diamond Dallas Page quickly beats Alex Wright. "Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews DDP after the match, who says that everyone dreams of being a champion, and if you look at WCW's World Heavyweight Champion, who he knows better than most, beside him, they are two different people. Goldberg shot straight to the top faster than anyone else, while DDP had to bust his chops to get here for years. Goldberg has never lost, while DDP has had his share of losses. DDP says that nobody has defeated him as he has taken negatives and turns them into positives. He and Goldberg have big heats, and at Halloween Havoc, he is bringing his heart as he knows that Goldberg is bringing his and they will take each other to a whole new level, and it will be a bumpy, bumpy ride. He then tells Goldberg not to blink for even a second, as he just might feel the bang.
A few guys (whose names are unknown) from Superior, Wisconsin are this week's Nitro Party prize pack winners. We see some footage of their Nitro Party (which heads to a Mean Gene's Burgers location in the town) before we see another performance by The Nitro Girls.
Before the next match, Ernest "The Cat" Miller tells Lenny Lane (whom he calls Larry) that he is a three-time karate champion and that he can tear him apart with his bare hands, and gives him five seconds to leave the ring. Lenny Lane almost leaves the ring, but The Cat stops him. Lenny tells him he's not an idiot, and The Cat asks to shake his hand in appreciation. Lenny shakes his hand, then The Cat kicks him in the throat before saying this is his house and that he is the real deal. Lenny Lane almost wins with a schoolboy pin, but The Cat kicks out and goes at it. All of a sudden, Scott Hall stumbles out to the stage and down the ramp with one-half of the WCW tag team titles on his waist. Hall gets on the apron, calling for Kevin Nash, but "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes shows up and pulls him down, telling him he is no condition to do anything in the ring and that he is throwing his life away and he is talking him to the back. Shortly after this, Ernest "The Cat" Miller beats Lenny Lane, then says Miller says he is the greatest and that WCW is going to someone hurt.
Disco Inferno is still working out - and sweating up a storm - on the treadmill when it is time to weigh in again. Disco Inferno has made weight.
The wicked laughter is heard again.
We see footage from Backstage Blast from last week where Chris Jericho says he is a unified champion as he brags about being the fake Goldberg and winning the "WCW World Heavyweight Championship" to go along with the Television title, and says that Goldberg will eventually get his rematch. He is also seen wearing a shirt that states "Jericho - 1, Goldberg - 0."
Saturn beats Jerry Flynn after putting him through ring announcer David Penzer's table.
The Jericho-holics Anonymous T-Shirt is now available for $20 plus $5.95 shipping and handling!
Before the next match, Scott Steiner says he finds it amazing that people boo him, because there is nobody in professional sports that looks like him and because he is a winner. He then says that the Boston, Massachusetts has no idea how to win ever since a baseball went between Bill Buckner's legs, and that they did not have the balls to hire Larry Bird as a coach after the championships he has helped win for the Boston Celtics. Buff Bagwell mocks Bill Buckner, then Scott Steiner says he is out here because Hollywood Hogan sent him and Bagwell out to see exactly where Bret "The Hit Man" Hart stands with nWo Hollywood as Bret comes out one week with a Hogan shirt and is Sting's friend the next. He says they decide whether Bret joins or leaves nWo Hollywood, not Bret, and calls Bret out again. Bret hobbles his way to the ring, still wearing a knee brace and not wearing a shirt at all. Buff Bagwell says Bret is faking his injury, and Scott and Buff attack Bret before Scott chokes Bret out with a black-and-white nWo shirt. Sting rushes in, forcing Buff and Scott to run for their lives. Rick Steiner meets Scott and Bagwell from behind, and Bagwell runs to the back before Rick gets a few shots on Scott, who runs away soon after.
Boxer Vinny Pazienza is seen at ringside.
Kidman retains the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Disco Inferno, who is worn out after working out for two hours to make weight for the match. During the match, Lodi shows up, wanting Kidman to rejoin him so they can go find Raven, nearly costing Kidman the match. All of a sudden, the weird laughter that has been heard for the last few weeks is heard yet again.
We see a solo performance from Tygress of The Nitro Girls.
We see a video package of the new Four Horsemen ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael, Dean Malenko).
Before the next match, Chavo Guerrero Jr. tells Konnan that he isn't the only one who is raza, and imitates Konnan before saying he can be black-and-red. When Konnan refuses to let him join, Chavo wants to see Kevin Nash, and pushes Konnan, who immediately fights back.
Konnan beats Chavo Guerrero, Jr. with the Tequila Sunrise.
The Dean Malenko "Eyes of Ice" T-shirt is available for just $20 plus $5.95 shipping and handling.
Eric Bischoff and Miss Elizabeth show up. Bischoff talks about having built an empire that nobody though he would built, and that on Sunday, he would have built the most successful wrestling organization on Earth. Tomorrow, he heads to Japan to build the largest and most successful organization over there, but he will do it because he knows how, as he has built a model of an organization from top to bottom. He says that WCW is not the company it used to be, and apologizes on behalf of "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, who will not be here tonight due to "saying things he shouldn't have said" last week. He says that "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson could not earn Flair the right to wrestle on "his show," and while he can't stop him from speaking on a microphone, he can keep him from wrestling, as he is doing this ofr his own good as the last thing he should be doing at his age is wrestle again. He says The Four Horsemen is history and that Anderson cannot wrestle again. He says it is his company, and he decides who wrestles and well as when and where they do it, like Eddie Guerrero found out last week. Before Bischoff can stop speaking, The Four Horsemen ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael, Dean Malenko) show up. Bischoff sics WCW security on them, saying they work for him, and tells them they want him gone. Security head Doug Dellinger, who initially stops Flair, steps aside to let the Horsemen in the ring. Flair says Bischoff has lied again, re-introduces him to the new Four Horsemen and tells Bischoff he has abused his power. Instead of beating up executives in blue jeans and Nike sneakers, he laughs at them. Bischoff dares Flair to hit him, but Flair tells him that is not happening tonight, as he doesn't have another $2 million. Flair then confronts Bischoff for telling him he can't take his 10-year-old son to a national wrestling tournament - which he won - and tells him to suck it, before confronting him that for firing him the day after. Flair tells bischoff the Horsemen are too good and that Bischoff is just too bad, and that he made his money by going up and down the road every night. He says Bischoff is sitting on a big contract due to all the superstars in the back who carried the business while he lived on top of it, and that the fans are not here for him. He tells Bischoff that the Horsemen were going from one end of the world to the other picking up women while Bischoff was in the bathroom buying his first condom. Bischoff tells Flair this is Nitro, not the History Channel, and that there is no room in WCW for Flair. Flair tells him Space Mountain is the oldest ride, but it still has the longest line, and reminds him that it was him to introduced him to Hollywood Hogan. Bischoff calls Flair a Hogan wanna-be. Flair tells Bischoff the Horsemen will be on Thunder this Thursday night in Norfolk, Virginia, and the Horsemen surround Bischoff after he asks for Flair's microphone to be cut off, flashing the four fingers to Bischoff in a corner of the ring.
Stevie Ray and The Giant (the latter standing in for Scott Hall) vs. Kevin Nash and Lex Luger ends in a no-contest. During the match, Scott Hall guests on commentary, and asks why "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes did not want him to wrestle Kevin Nash, and Tony Schiavone tells him he is no condition to wrestle. He tells Schiavone to tell Dusty there is no alcohol policy, and to worry about himself. He says his back is sore from carrying Kevin Nash his entire career, and threatens to get in the ring to show how tough Kevin Nash is. Hall then heads to the ring, irritating everyone in the ring in the process as he gets in, and tosses out referee Nick Patrick before daring Kevin Nash to get in the ring with him. Lex Luger tags Nash in at his request, and when Hall punches at him, Nash dodges and Hall lands on his face. The Giant and Stevie Ray take advantage of the situation, with The Giant clobbering Nash while Stevie Ray drags Luger out of the ring. Luger comes back into the ring with a steel chair, and Nash and Luger have a stand-off with Hall. Luger sits in the chair in the corner while Nash sends Hall out of the ring again. The Giant and Stevie Ray finally take Scott Hall to the ring, and Kevin Nash tells Scott Hall that he just lost his best friend because he doesn't know who he is anymore. If Hall wants to go at with him, they can go at it at Halloween Havoc. Nash then promises to Hall that he will show up, and asks that he do the same.
Hollywood Hogan and Eric Bischoff show up yet again, and they both call out The Warrior. The Warrior shows up, and slowly heads towards the ring. Suddenly, The Disciple is walking behind The Warrior. He then stands side by side with Warrior before turning around to reveal "OWN" on the back of his jacket, revealing that The Disciple ahs been turned against Hollywood Hogan.
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.
Fog and smoke envelops the ring again, but when it clears, The Disciple - who has not been seen since last week - is seen face down in the middle of the ring. Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for June 1, 1998
We see a video package of everything that has happened to Sting since the New World Order began at the start of the show.
A white limousine is seen backstage. Out of the back comes WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon, Diamond Dallas Page, Booker T and Goldberg.
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.
"The Cat" Ernest Miller beats Jerry Flynn.
A black limousine is seen backstage. Out of the back comes Miss Elizabeth, Rick Rude, Curt Hennig, Kevin Nash, Lex Luger, Konnan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage.
The nWo Wolfpac (Kevin Nash, Konnan, Lex Luger, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Miss Elizabeth, Curt Hennig, Rick Rude) shows up. Kevin Nash introduces a new version of the nWo survey, asking who came here to see nWo Hollywood and who came here to see the Wolfpac. Lex Luger says he's seeing a whole lot of red-and-black, and hopes someone else is seeing a lot of it, too: Sting. Luger tells Sting he and the Wolfpac haven't heard from him yet and the ship is sailing, and that he's always been around winners. He tells Sting the Wolfpac is a group of winners, and tells him to take that step into the Wolfpac and make the right choice. He also says the Wolfpac have set an example in case Sting needs any more encouragement, in which Luger and Nash issues an open challenge to the best that nWo Hollywood has to offer - Hogan and The Giant - in which the Wolfpac hopes to win in order to curry Sting's favor.
Raven and Saturn beat Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge and "Flyboy" Rocco Rock) despite Raven and Saturn arguing with each other during the match. After the match, Raven says that because of him, Kanyon is fired, but since he's been running roughshod through WCW, WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon has decided to re-hire him. Raven is concerned about his safety, but is happy he has Saturn, and announced that he has re-hired the Flock and that he has signed Saturn to a match between him and Kanyon. He tells Saturn not to thank him, as he is doing him a favor and that this is what friends are for.
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls. We then see the Nitro Party footage of this week's Nitro Party Prize Pack winners, Dr. Lee and Alice Tracy from DeWitt, Arkansas.
Alex Wright beats Chavo Guerrero Jr. in his first match in six months after Chavo taps out to an STF attempt before the hold can be applied. Eddie Guerrero runs into the ring as Alex and Chavo brawl and plays peacekeeper, then tells Chavo that their relatives are proud of him due to his sudden change and that Chavo is free from his obligations to him. Eddie tells Chavo he doesn't have to wrestle him anymore, but Chavo insists on wrestling him in order to not only learn from him, but to beat him. Eddie has to get out of the ring, and Chavo follows him.
Tony Schiavone interviews "Macho Man" Randy Savage. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper's theme plays at first, but the Wolfpac theme plays soon after before Savage shows up with Miss Elizabeth. Savage says that "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and Bret "The Hit Man" Hart will be crushed at The Great American Bash, but he has two things he has to do first: look in the mirror and sleep at night, and he's had trouble with the latter as he wants a word with Piper. Savage calls Piper out, and Piper shows up for real this time. Piper wants to know what Savage's problem with him is, and Savage says his problem with him is simple. It's not that they both hate nWo Hollywood, it's what happened with him, Piper and Savage as well as the win by disqualification from Slamboree. He makes it clear he wants a piece of Piper after their tag team match at The Great American Bash, and that he's not leaving until he gets satisfaction. Savage also tells Piper he's using him to beat up nWo Hollywood before wiping the floor with him. Piper tells Savage if he wants to fight twice in one night and have one of those matches be against him, he'll do it. Piper asks Savage if he can see that Bret is conning everyone and stirring the pot, and if Bret is pulling on his strings. He tells Savage that Bret has not worn an nWo shirt even once, because he's not on nWo Hollywood. Savage doesn't care about Bret or Piper, and tells Piper he'll see him at The Great American Bash.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour. Tony Schiavone interviews WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon, who says he stands alone tonight but knows he has a lot of support. He says it pains him that Sting is being pulled in different directions as his allegiance is being tested after what he's been through in the last year, but he says that WCW proved they were behind him. Dillon asks Sting to stay with WCW, as he is a legacy and franchise there, and if he stays with them, they'll be with him. He knows that Sting has a big decision to make, and says it sickens him that "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan has the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. He wants the World title to come back around WCW, and especially around the waist of Sting.
A third limo has arrived backstage. Out comes Eric Bischoff, "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, The Giant, "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, Brian Adams, The Disciple, Bret "The Hit Man" Hart and Vincent, who all make their way to the ring. Hogan announces he just tore down the big screen and showed Scott Steiner the ropes, but nothing turns him on more than the nWo-ites worshiping the ground he walks on because he made professional wrestling and rules the world. On his way to the arena, he and the brotherhood saw Lex Luger and Kevin Nash challenge him and The Giant, and he had the biggest smile on his face that he had seen in a long time. He says it will be a pleasure to show Sting where the power lies, is and always has been when he shows Sting he should be part of nWo Hollywood when he makes his decision tonight by beating Luger and Nash. As for The Great American Bash, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and "Macho Man" Randy Savage will be bowing in servitude. He also tells Bret about how they questioned his loyalty, and Bret asks what he has to do make it clear and set an example, especially when Hogan means the world to him. He says the Hogan T-shirt he is wearing should say it all. He says Piper wants to get Savage worked up, but says it was his idea to swerve Savage in the first place. He tells Savage and Piper to bring everything they've got, as he and Hogan will take great pleasure in dismembering them. Hogan says Bret's Hogan T-shirt proves the love he has for him, and says the only thing Savage and Piper have in common is the double-decker hospital bed they'll be sharing. He says that he will crush their souls at The Great American Bash.
We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.

Tony Schiavone interviews Rick Rude and Curt Hennig, and Hennig shows up on crutches. Rick Rude takes the microphone, and says Curt Hennig will challenge Goldberg at The Great American Bash. Rude says he doesn't have to brag about how close he and Hennig are or about his accomplishment, and instead wants to talk about Goldberg. Rude tells Hennig he knows he wants everything perfect, but Hennig tells him not to say "the P-word" as he doesn't want a lawsuit. Hennig says when he wrestles, he wants to be 100%, and the doctor has told he has to take ten days off after workig out with Brad Rangins, Don Frye and Brian Johnson. Rude says that any man who can get on the mat with Brad can toss Goldberg around like a baby in diapers, but Hennig asks Konnan to come out so he can talk to him. Hennig offers him the opportunity to face Goldberg on the road, and Rude says this is all part of a conspiracy to wear Hennig down before The Great American Bash so Goldberg can have an easier time with him. Konnan tells Hennig he'll hook him up, and Hennig tells Goldberg he won't be getting out of their match at The Great American Bash, as he is sick and tired of tying up with rookies and greenhorns when he is the master of his own crat, and when he's done with Goldberg, they'll be calling him "Bill Goldturd," because he'll leave him lying like a piece of dog shit, though Rude pulls the mike away before Hennig can finish that statement.

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for February 23, 1998
Diamond Dallas Page says there were plenty of highs at SuperBrawl VIII, but the biggest low was Scott Steiner joining the nWo. He says they won't be Scott's "brothers." Booker T says that Scott sold out, and that he has a brother and that blood is thicker than water when the chips are down. "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair says that Scott is a great athlete from a great background with a great background. He says Scott will pay the price for selling out and joining the nWo, and that he will be dogged by his brother Rick Steiner until he gets his hand on him. Bret "The Hit Man" Hart says nobody feels worse about Scott's betrayal of WCW than he does, and says Scott's betrayal of WCW will hurt more people than just him and his brother Rick.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Rick Steiner, who isn't in the mood to talk.
Before the next match, Lex Luger congratulates Sting for bringing the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, then says there's another black cloud thanks to the nWo in the form of Scott Steiner betraying his brother Rick Steiner, whom Luger has gotten to know for over ten years. Luger says that Scott is Rick's brother no more, and if Scott can't be talked to, then he'll have to beat some sense into him. He then calls Scott Steiner out.
Lex Luger vs. Curt Hennig ends when a man with blonde hair and a blonde goatee who is dressed like Scott Steiner attacks Luger. He is then confirmed to be Scott Steiner as he chokes Luger out. Luger fights back and busts Steiner open around his left eye, then Buff Bagwell attacks Luger. Rick Steiner rushes in, attacks Bagwell and confronts his brother Scott, but the rest of the nWo attack Rick from behind. The nWo then gangs up on Rick until Sting rappels down from the rafters and clears the ring. WCW superstars head to the ring to check on Luger and Rick Steiner. Referee Mickey Jay shows up and hands the WCW World Heavyweight Championship to Sting, and everyone applauds Sting as they continue to check on Luger and Rick Steiner.
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls. During the performance, it is announced that the governor of Minnesota has declared Friday, February 27th "Ric Flair Day" in the city of Minneapolis and that "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair will be in Minneapolis that day.
Diamond Dallas Page retains the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Van Hammer - now known simply as Hammer - and fights off Raven's Flock (Raven, Saturn, Kidman, Sick Boy, Scotty Riggs, Lodi, Hammer) after the match. "The Crippler" Chris Benoit rushes to the ring and clears the ring not long afterwards.
"Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff come out of a limousine, and Hogan tells someone in the limo to stay in the vehicle. Suddenly, Vincent shows up and whispers into Hogan's ears, and Hogan says "It's on now." Bischoff and Hogan then make their way to the ring, and says enough is enough for everyone in WCW and is not "a disciple of the nWo." Hogan says that Sting's appearance is "another example of what that coward Sting is capable of." He says that Sting has been stung so much it's boring, and blames referee Nick Patrick for his loss last night. Hogan says Sting is not even an issue and "small stuff" at this point, and that he does not even sweat him. Tonight, he will prove that Sting is not the man and the champion, as Scott Hall finally gets his shot at the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, beat Sting for the belt and bring it back to him. He dares Sting to get in his face so he can crucify him. Hogan then blames "Macho Man" Randy Savage for his loss as well, saying that Savage hit him in the back with a ten-pound crowbar. He tells Savage that if he wants to prove he is the man, he can do it in a one-on-one Steel Cage Match at Uncensored. Hogan says he can put an end to Savage once and for all and kick him out of the nWo, and also says that Savage is afraid of him. Savage shows up in the crowd, and tells Hogan he's kicking him out of the nWo and that his nightmare has just started before expressing approval for the steel cage match at Uncensored. Hogan tells Savage that he will bury him at Uncensored, but Savage says that won't happen.
Ultimo Dragon beats Kaz Hayashi with the Dragon Sleeper.

Diamond Dallas Page saves Benoit, but Benoit hits Page not knowing it is him. Nevertheless, Benoit and Page fight Raven's Flock (Raven, Saturn, Kidman, Lodi, Sick Boy, Riggs, Hammer)off. They almost confront each other, but continue to fight off the Flock until they retreat. Pyrotechnics then signal the start of the second hour.

hris Jericho shows up wearing a silver version of Juventud Guerrera's mask before the next match. Jericho says he is still the Cruiserweight champion, then brags about taking Juventud Guerrera's mask. He almost considers wearing the mask as a tribute to someone else, but can't as his face is the one that people have paid to see. He then asks that WCW change the name of the show to "WCW Monday Jericho." He says he has talked to J.J. Dillon, who - according to Jericho - is 83% sure about changing the name. He then shows the title to the audience, which is usually done by the referee, before the bell rings.
Chris Jericho retains the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Lenny Lane with the Lion Tamer.

Konnan says he gave Guerrera numerous chances to join the nWo, but says Guerrera is now just a foregone conclusion.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the third hour.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon, who says that he sent Nick Patrick to the ring at SuperBrawl VIII and that the result for "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan vs. Sting at SuperBrawl VIII for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship is an official, binding decision. He then asks Patrick to come to the ring, which he does, and Dillon congratulates him for a job well done at SuperBrawl VIII before telling him he will be officiating the next match. Nick Patrick thanks Dillon for clearing that - and the back pay issue - up, and that there are no hard feelings and that they will get together just fine from now on.
"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair beats Brad Armstrong with the Figure Four Leg Lock after Flair misdirects referee Nick Patrick so he can kick Armstrong in the groin.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews The Giant, who shows up for the first time since being dropped on the back of his head and neck at Souled Out with his neck in a brace. The Giant says there is everything a person does, and he knew the risks he was undertaking when he faced Kevin Nash. He still had no idea that Kevin Nash was going to drop him on his neck, and says it still didn't work. He tells Nash that there are consequences for his actions, and every time his neck hurts, he thinks of him. The Giant says he has doctors who say he will never wrestle again, but he has news for them and for Nash: he will wrestle again, and when he gets his hand around his neck, he will feel the ride of his life. All he has to do is say where and when, as he has a bad case of Giant all over his back. He doesn't care if the Jackknife Power Bomb is banned or not, and wants Nash to use it so he can get him 100% and break him down.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Brian Adams. Brian Adams tells Okerlund to shut up as he's the one asking the questions. Adams says he is here to join the most elite force in professional wrestling, which is the nWo, whom he calls "the measuring stick." He then tells Bret "The Hit Man" Hart that if he wanted a piece of him, he wouldn't break a sweat and he wouldn't go off his feet as he's just not good enough. Bret shows up as if almost on cue, unbuttons his shirt on the way to the ring, and tells Adams he doesn't know what kind of beef he has against him before saying they can go at it right here, right now. They do just that, and Bret goes to town before Adams hits him with some powerful slams. When he goes for the elbow drop, however, he misses, and Bret goes at it with him before putting him in the Sharpshooter. He is then attacked from behind by Curt Hennig, and Rick Rude approaches the ring as Bret gets some leverage on Hennig. Crush gets back up and attacks Bret alongside Rick Rude, but "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair comes out from the back and fight off all three men in short order. Flair then welcomes Bret to WCW, and says that in his lifetime, "Hogans, Halls, Nashes, and Hennigs" have always tried to prevail, but today, Hart is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. He says half the crowd is waiting for him to sucker punch Bret, but that's not happening, as there are some things that are special enough to "kiss your children and say goodnight to your mom and dad for," such as "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson's sudden retirement and Bret saying that Flair was the man. He shakes his hand, and tells Bret that if he needs help along the way, he'd like to style and profile with him. Hart says he's been sitting on the shelf a little too long, and that he promised to tear the nWo apart brick by brick. He tells Hennig that if he wants to start stuff with him, that's okay with him, and he challenges him to a match at Uncensored so he can finish him once and for all.
"Hollywood" Hulk Hogan shows up with the nWo, and Scott Hall is nowhere to be seen. Bischoff takes the microphone from Michael Buffer, and says he knows what Sting is all about. He says that Hogan has forgiven him and has become bored with him, and says that tonight belongs to Scott Hall, who will take the World title and bring it back to Hogan. Bischoff then calls Sting out and tells him to put the title on the line and give Hall his due, and promises that if he shows up, the entire nWo will leave on "nWo honor." Sting shows up from the back, but stops halfway down the aisle. The nWo clears the ring, but Hogan stays. A man dressed as Sting shows up behind the real Sting, distracting the real Sting and allowing him to be attacked by the nWo. The fake Sting unmasks to reveal himself as Scott Hall, revealing that it was all a set-up to attempt to injure Sting. Hall hits Sting with The Outsider's Edge, and Hall is spray painting "NWO" on Sting's chest when "Macho Man" Randy Savage shows up to fight the nWo only to be quickly surrounded. A mysterious bearded man with a "Hollywood" bandanna around his forehead climbs in the ring, and watches as the nWo continues their carnage and Hogan spray paints "HH" on Savage's chest. The entire nWo clears the ring when Lex Luger shows up with a chair.

Hogan tells Savage that he will bury him at Uncensored, but Savage says that won't happen.

hris Jericho shows up wearing a silver version of Juventud Guerrera's mask before the next match.

Konnan says he gave Guerrera numerous chances to join the nWo, but says Guerrera is now just a foregone conclusion.
