Collision Course - Collision recap for December 2, 2023

We hear from Brody King, Claudio Castagnoli, Andrade el Idolo, CJ Perry, Daniel Garcia, "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson, and Eddie Kingston before the show.

Brody King beats Claudio Castagnoli in the Blue League of the Continental Classic and earns three points.



In backstage footage from Dynamite, Jon Moxley says that if entering the Continental Classic was a bad idea, he will not find out until it is too late. He says nobody has done it like him in the last four years and that he is in pain, and that he sick and tired of being sick and tired. Moxley says he will do what he always does and wrestle and fight his way out of this, and put every ounce of sweat, effort and will into winning the tournament, as it is what AEW was built on. He says somebody must step up, win the tournament, and show what AEW is and can be, and that somebody will have to be him. Moxley then says nobody in the tournament can do to him that is worse than he goes through on a daily basis, and dares everyone to take a shot.

Abadon beats Kiera Hogan. After the match, the lights go out, and when they come back on, Julia Hart is behind Abadon. When Abadon focuses on Julia, the lights go out again, and Julia is nowhere to be seen when they come back on.



Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Samoa Joe. Before Joe can say much, Roderick Strong and The Kingdom show up. Roddy says he is willing to forgiving him for trying to break his neck twice, then tells him that he is falling for a trap and that MJF is The Devil. He syas that Joe is his best friend by proxy of being Adam Cole's best friend, then says that MJF and his flunkies are plotting to beat him up. Samoa Joe chortles and leaves.

"Daddy Magic" Matt Menard guests on commentary for the next match.

Backstage, we hear from Willie Mack, who calls out Wardlow for putting his hands on AR Fox and says that next week, he will reach out and touch him. He tells Wardlow to pack a lunch, because he will be a hard meal to eat.

Before the next match, Roderick Strong tells Smaoa Joe that everything he told him backstage was true and that Joe will find out very soon, then says The Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) will not "neck the halls" with The Iron Savages (Boulder and Bronson) and beat their asses before dedicating the match to Adam Cole.

The Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) beat The Iron Savages (Boulder and Bronson). After the match, Roderick Strong falls out of his wheelchair trying to get in the ring.



Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews "All Ego" Ethan Page, who says that he has had to regroup and get in the best shape of his life while racking up wins in Ring of Honor. He wants to be "The King of Canada," but the crown is on Kenny Omega and he wants him next week.

We see a video package chronicling the history between Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Martinez.

The House of Black (Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews) beat "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels and Matt Sydal. After the match, the lights go out, and when they come back on, FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) shows up. Malakai Black assumes both of them are joining The House of Black, especially when FTR strikes him as family men, then lays the microphone on the mat and allows Harwood to pick it up only for Matthews to knee him in the head. The House of Black make quick work of FTR, and Buddy Matthews holds Dax Harwood down as Malakai Black hits Cash Wheeler with Black Mass. Malakai Black says that nobody is coming for FTR as Harwood flips Malakai Black off, then Malakai hits Harwood with Black Mass.



In backstage footage from earlier this week, Renee Paquette interviews a flustered "Timeless" Toni Storm. Toni advises Skye Blue to walk backwards and says she is not scared of her, then states that if Skye wants to interrupt her, she can be the first challenger to her title.

Backstage, we hear from Skye Blue, who calls Toni Storm's "Timeless" phase the most pathetic thing she has ever seen, then tells Toni Storm to get in the ring so she can take her title. She says she will keep her chest out, keep her tits up and shove Toni's shoe up her ass.

We see a video package chronicling the history between Adam Copeland and Christian Cage in AEW so far.

El Hijo del Vikingo beats Kip Sabian.



Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Keith Lee. On the subject of "him," Shane Taylor and "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty show up. Shane Taylor says last year's tag match solved nothing for him and that they should have the one-on-one match everyone wants to see. Keith Lee accepts the challenge.

Backstage, CJ Perry has to stop Miro from entering Andrade el Idolo's dressing room. She says that Miro picked his god, then says she must prove herself by winning the tournament. She says she has to do things her own way, and tells Miro to promise he will not touch Andrade. Miro said his god is gone and that he would be in the tournament if he was not, then promises he will not lay a hand on Andrade.

"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson beats Eddie Kingston in the Blue League of the Continental Classic and earns three points. After the match, Bryan Danielson shows off a fan sign saying "Eddie is a bum."
