Final Battle 2023 - The Results



Taya Valkyrie beats Jazmin Allure at Zero Hour.

The Von Erichs (Ross and Marshall Von Erich) beat The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) with the Iron Claw on both Magnum and Floyd at Zero Hour.

"Bounty Hunter" Bryan Keith beats Jack Cartwheel and advances to the six-way Survival of the Fittest match for the ROH World Television Championship later in the show at Zero Hour.

ROH owner and Chairman of the Board of Directors Tony Khan shows up on the stage. Tony Khan thanks the fans for coming to the show and says that this show is not to be missed, and says that the next match will have two of the best wrestlers in the entire world.

Daniel Garcia beats "All Heart" Blake Christian with the Dragon Tamer at Zero Hour.

Backstage, Tony Khan is interrupted by Eddie Kingston, who wants to know why he is not booked tonight. Tony Khan tells Eddie that he still has a Continental Classic tomorrow night on Collision, but Eddie says he wants to fight tonight. Anthony Henry shows up and says he is available and is willing to fight him. Eddie proposes a Proving Grounds Match for the ROH World Championship, and the two agree on it. Tony Khan sanctions the match.

El Hijo del Vikingo retains the AAA Megas Championship against Black Taurus.

The Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona, "The Machine" Brian Cage) retain the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships against TMDK ("Hysterical" Shane Haste, Bad Dude Tito, Kosei Fujita).

"All Ego" Ethan Page beats "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese in an "I Quit" Match. At the start of the match, "Smart" Mark Sterling reguses to be handcuffed to the ring post until Mark Henry shows up and scares Sterling into compliance. Later on in the match, Tony Nese is able to free Mark Sterling from the handcuffs, and the two of them are able to handcuff Page's hands behind his back. As Sterling threatens to have Nese smash Ethan Page with a 45-pound weight and send the tape of the beating to his daughter for her future therapy, Scorpio Sky suddenly shows up and beats up Sterling before taking him to the back. Page is then able to fight back against Nese, and after the referee is able to free Page from the cuffs, Page chokes Nese out with the cuffs to get Nese to quit. After the match, Scorpio Sky catches back up with Ethan Page, and Mark Henry raises both Page and Scorpio's hands on the stage afterwards.

"The Native Beast" Nyla Rose beats Vertvixen.

Kyle Fletcher beats Lee Johnson, Dalton Castle, Lee Moriarty, "The Outlaw" Bryan Keith and Komander in a six-way Survival of the Fittest Elimination Match to become the ROH World Television Champion, earning his first singles title in his career. Dalton Castle is eliminated by Lee Moriarty thanks to Johnny TV, who messes with and distracts Castle by throwing The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) into the ring.

Wheeler Yuta retains the ROH Pure Championship against "Filthy" Tom Lawlor with the Seatbelt, despite Lawlor potentially getting his foot on the bottom rope before the three count. After the match, Wheeler and Lawlor shake hands before Wheeler kicks Lawlor in the groin. As Wheeler is about to hit Lawlor with a DDT, Hook shows up. Wheeler gets out of the ring, but when Hook checks on Lawlor, Wheeler hits Hook with a low blow followed by a DDT.

Keith Lee beats Shane Taylor despite an interference attempt by "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty and a top rope Canadian Destroyer by Taylor. After the

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews "The Outlaw" Bryan Keith. Bryan Keith says he is here to prove himself on the big stage and prove he is championship material. He says he always collects and is here to collect gold. Orange Cassidy shows up and dares Bryan Keith to come collect the All Elite Wrestling International Championship tomorrow night on AEW Collision.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and Mark Briscoe vs. The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley, "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson) ends in a double count-out. After the match, officials have to break up all of the brawling, and wrestlers also have to step in to help out. Afterwards, as the match is about to be declared thrown out, Mark Briscoe says this match is to honor his brother Jay Briscoe and wants the match restarted as an anything goes match. He then dives off the stage as the match is officially made a Fight Without Honor.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and Mark Briscoe beat The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley, "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson) in a Fight Without Honor following Mark Briscoe hitting Bryan Danielson with a Jay Driller into a pile of metal folding chairs in the middle of the ring.

Eddie Kingston beats Anthony Henry by submission. After the match, Daniel Garcia shows up to stare down Kingston, and Kingston walks by him shortly afterwards.

Lexy Nair is the special guest ring announcer for the next match.

Athena retains the ROH Women's World Championship against Billie Starkz. During the match, Billie inadvertently knocks Athena into referee Mike Posey, and Athena demands that Lexy Nair hand her the Women's World Championship, which Nair is reluctant to do before Billie Starkz gets back up and drops kick Athena in the back, sending Athena's skull into the belt before she plants her for a near-fall after the referee gets back up. After the match, Athena wants Billie Starks to be her minion, to which Billie gives Athena a high-five before she and Athena hug. The show ends with Athena, Billie and Lexy Nair all hugging in the middle of the ring before heading to the ring.
