Champagne Singh and Shera beat Heath and Rhino on the countdown after Shera distracts Heath so that Singh can pin Heath with a schoolkid pin and Shera can hold on to Singh's feet for leverage. After the match, Rhino hits singh with a Gore.

The Coven (Taylor Wilde and KiLynn King) retain the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts World Tag Team Championships against The Death Dollz (Rosemary and Jessicka Havok) on the countdown.

Bullet Club ("Inevitable" Ace Austin and Chris Bey) retain the IMPACT Wrestling World Tag Team Championships against The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) in an Ultimate X Match.

We are introduced to the French commentary team.

We hear from Steve Maclin, who says that this situation sucks and that a year and a half of recon studying Josh Alexander was for nothing, but he will adapt and overcome much like he has done in Afghanistan and show what he is capable of. He says that it is the biggest night of his and KUSHIDA's career, and that he is the next IMPACT World Champion.

Before the next match, Joe Hendry says his team has their work cut out for them, because they are facing The Design, and says the only thing more impressive than Deaner is the people saying "We believe."

Santino Marella, Joe Hendry and Dirty Dango beat The Design (Deaner, Kon, Angels, Callihan). During the match, Deaner demands that Callihan take out Santino Marella, and when Callihan goes the Cactus Driver, Deaner stops him and hands him a baseball bat. Callihan takes the baseball bat, but he hits Deaner instead and leaves. Santino then hits Deaner with the Cobra for the win.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Team Dreamer (Tommy Dreamer, Bhupinder Gujjar, Frankie Kazarian, Killer Kelly, Yuya Uemura). Dreamer says that this has been the worst week of his life after his mother has suffered a health emergency, and after Team Bully beat his team up, there is nothing Team Bully can do to hurt him. He asks for prayers and positive thoughts at this time, then says that this war ends tonight.

PCO beats Eddie Edwards in a Last Rites Match after Alisha Edwards shows up and hits PCO with a shovel to absolutely no effect and Eddie inadvertently superkicks Alisha when PCO pulls the shovel - and Alicia - into Eddie's path. PCO then choke slams Eddie Edwards into the casket for the win.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Trey Miguel, but the interview suffers from audio difficulties.

Trey Miguel retains the IMPACT Wrestling X Division Championship against Jonathan Gresham and Mike Bailey. Gresham is eliminated when Trey hits him with the top rope Meteora as he has Bailey in the Figure Four, and Bailey is eliminated after Bailey tries to roll Trey up only for Trey to reverse with a roll-up of his own while grabbing the tights.

Team Dreamer (Tommy Dreamer, Bhupinder Gujjar, Frankie Kazarian, Killer Kelly, Yuya Uemura) beats Team Bully (Bully Ray, Brian Myers, Kenny King, Masha Slamovich, Moose) in a ten-person Hardcore War after four referees hold up the ladders so that Tommy Dreamer can splash Bully Ray through a table after refusing to do the same for Bully Ray. The Good Hands (John Skyler and Jason Hotch) also get involved in the match on Team Bully's behalf, but they get taken out almost as soon as they appear in the match.

Nick Aldis is the special guest commentator for the next match. Nick Aldis announces that he is back in Impact Wrestling and that his first order of business is scouting the competition for the IMPACT World Championship.

Steve Maclin beats KUSHIDA to win the vacant IMPACT Wrestling World Championship after countering the Hoverboard Lock multiple times. After the match, Maclin mentions Scott D'Amore promising to physically hand him the World Championship if he wins, then demands that he show up and be a man of his word. Scott D'Amore shows up and simply hands him the title, but Maclin demands that he place it around his waist. D'Amore shoves the title to him and congratulates him, then Maclin decks D'Amore with the championship as D'Amore turns his back. Nick Aldis leaves the commentary and confronts Maclin, and Maclin leaves.
