Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling presented by CarShield recap for April 9, 2023

Invictus Khash beats Fidel Bravo with a Fujiwara Arm Bar after a near-fall on a pinfall attempt.

Backstage, "The Golden Boy" Jordan Clearwater tells Invictus Khash that he has no idea what bag of trouble he has opened and that he is playing with greatness and "The Golden Fire," and sooner or later, he will get burned. He says he will catch up to him, and when he does, he will prove how much of a loser Khash really is, and then he will focus on what is important: creating his UWN World Heavyweight Championship.

Beef Candy (Richie Slade and Flex McCallion) beat Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster the Legend) by disqualification after Honest and Divine show up and attack Beef Candy. After the match, Reno Scum lay Honest and Divine out, while Slade celebrates on stage by hugging the referee.

Backstage, Jonny Loquasto is met by Bateman, who knows that Loquasto is looking for him. Loquasto wants to know why Bateman is attacking people, and Bateman says it all started at Red Carpet Rumble with EJ Sparks and continued with "Pretty" Peter Avalon, who he says attacked him first and that everything afterwards is him "balancing the ledger." He says that if Avalon is looking for a fight, he is not hard to find.

Jordan Cruz guests on commentary for the next match.

Ju Dizz beats Cameron Gates. After the match, Jordan Cruz tells Ju Dizz that they have some business to take care of, and says that they have been through this together since day one and that he made a mistake putting his hands on him. Ju Dizz tries to leave, but Jordan tells him that they have been together since the first day of training and that he owes him this much. Ju Dizz questions if Jordan is being real with him, but tells him that the passion burns through the both of him and that they both tried and failed to beat The Institution ("Benevolent" Jack Banning, Honest, Divine, Savanna Stone) separately, and while they do not have to be friends forever, they have to do it together. Ju Dizz asks Jordan if he really wants to do this, and Jordan says he is serious about doing this. Both men then raise each others' hands, then Jordan Cruz hits Ju Dizz with the Titan Driver. Jordan tells the crowd not to get antsy, then says he is sorry to Ju Dizz for not putting him in his place, then says that the crowd was never behind him and that he will give them a reason to boo him before hitting Ju Dizz with the Gory Lariat.

Backstage, Jonny Loquasto meets with Danny Limelight and congratulates him on retaining against "Outlandish" Zicky Dice before asking if everything is okay with The Bodega (Danny Limelight, "King FatBoy" Papo Esco, Slice Boogie) regarding what is going on Slice Boogie. Limelight says The Bodega is doing fine and inists that Slice Boogie is doing okay, then Jonny mentions that "The Golden Boy" Jordan Clearwater has enacted his rematch clause through his lawyer and will have his match sooner rather than later. Jonny tells Limelight to keep his head on a swivel to avoid a repeat of the concrete block attack, and Limelight asks Jonny to keep him posted.

"Benevolent" Jack Banning retains the United Television Championship against Willie Mack after "Outlandish" Zicky Dice shows up and grabs Willie Mack by the leg at the top rope as the referee checks on Banning, giving Banning enough time to recover, avoid the Six-Star Splash and put Willie Mack to sleep with the guillotine choke. After the match, Zicky Dice says straight to the camera "If I can't have a title, neither can you!"
