Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for December 10, 2021

In memory of Jack Lanza, 1935 - 2021.

Sami Zayn heads to the ring in a wheelchair with two nurses (played by Richie Slade and Flex McCallion, also known as Beef Candy in Championship Wrestling From Hollywood). Sami says it took both Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar to put him in a wheelchair, and he finds it interesting that two men who cannot stand each other worked together to injure him. Sami also says that Brock Lesnar betrayed him, and that he now has to do what is right, stand by his convictions and sue Adam Pearce, Sonya Deville, the referee who rang the bell, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman, and everyone who wronged him that night. Paul Heyman shows up and says it is his people who do the litigation, but as he continues to speak, Sami complains that Heyman is in front of the camera and is in his shot. When Heyman keeps talking, Sami stands up and insists he was not finished talking, then says he knows Roman Reigns is not here tonight. He says that if Heyman wants to stand alone and insult him, he will rip his head off, and without Roman, there is no one to save him. Brock Lesnar shows up, grabs a chair, and instead of using it as a weapon in the ring, he sets the chair down. Lesnar then asks Heyman to hand him the microphone. He then asks Sami how he is doing, and Sami Zayn feels insulted by Brock Lesnar talking to him. Lesnar says they got off on the wrong foot, then apologizes for last week. Sami says the physical pain is a "10," but the feelings are a "20." Lensar says he feels where Sami is coming from and asks Sami if he really thought he could single-handedly defeat Roman Reigns, then says he did him a favor, saying he would never defeat Roman on that given night and that Sami knew it. After trying to lighten up the conversation, Lesnar invites Sami to Saskatchewan so they can go fishing and hunting. Sami says he is vegan, but Lesnar says they should do something more fun. Lesnar wheels Sami to the ropes, then Paul Heyman asks what is going on and says that it feels like he just left the dispensary and the edibles have kicked in, then says that instead of taking Sami to the hospital, he is taking Sami moose hunting. Heyman then fires Lesnar up enough for him to attack the nurses. Lesnar then knocks Sami out of the wheelchair before tossing the wheelchair out of the ring, then hits Sami with an F5.
