After Dark - AEW Dark recap for December 21, 2021

The Gunn Club (Austin and Colten Gunn) bet "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson and Brock Anderson after Colten Gunn punches Brock Anderson in the back and Austin rolls Brock up with an inside cradle.

Abadon beats Charlette Renegade.

Eddie Kingston beats Colin Delaney.

Penelope Ford beats Willow Nightingale with the Muta Lock.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Sonny Kiss. Sonny says that he and Janela took each other to their limits in New Jersey and that next week will be no different. Janela shows up and wishes Sonny happy holidays before he executes him, and tells him not to lay his hands on him as he will have him next week and it will be a fight to survive.

Brandi Rhodes beats Robyn Renegade with the Stretch Mark after "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson shows up and threatens to pull an imaginary Glock on Charlette Renegade for getting involved in the match before chasing her off.

Jora Johl beats Julius Coleman.

"The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth and "Pretty" Peter Avalon give "Santa Cezar" their Christmas lists, but Cezar Bononi says they have been way better this year and that this Christmas, they will "beat Best Friends' ass." Nemeth says there will fighting and not smooching underneath the mistletoe, and Avalon says they will "deck those halls." Avalon and Bononi will face Orange Cassidy and Wheeler Yuta next week.

Isiah Kassidy beats Carlie Bravo.

Kiera Hogan beats Shalonce Royal.

Bear Country (Bear Boulder and Bear Bronson) beats Zack Clayton and Mike Orlando. After the match, Tony Schiavone interviews Bear Country. Boulder says that a few weeks ago, he said seeing is believing and that the fans saw Bear Country, but to believe Bear Country, they want the biggest, baddest and best AEW have to offer. That challenge is answered by The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens). Anthony Bowens tells Bear Country that if they want a challenge against a popular, accomplished team, they have it against The Acclaimed. Max Caster says they need challengers, as they have embarrassed all of the top teams to the point that they do not want to wrestle them anymore. Caster proposes a match next week, and says that they will diss them and make them wish they never challenged them in the first place.

Preston "10" Vance beats Leroy Patterson with the full nelson. (Patterson is managed by UWN manager Howdy Price, and during the match, -1 steals Howdy's hat before Howdy gets tackled by 10.) After the match, -1 rides Howdy Price like a horse when Howdy checks on Patterson.

Red Velet beats La Rosa Negra.

"The Captain" Shawn Dean beats Lucas Chase.

Matt Sydal beats Serpentico.
