We hear from Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala, who congratulates Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) on winning the NXT UK Tag Team Championship before announcing that on the first show of 2022 in three weeks' time, Symbiosis (Primate and T-Bone) and the team of Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter will square off in an elimination match to help decide new #1 contenders for the NXT UK tag team titles. He says that Dragunov is pathetic and needs the fans' love and approval as he fights for his family, then says all he needs is himself.

Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) head to the ring. Trent Seven said he needed last night, as it has been a wild eighteen months and they are back. He says that there have been times where they have fell short, but there was a part of him that night that thought about what would happen if they did not win. Trent Seven then asks what he will do when they lose the NXT UK Tag Team Champions, and says that he has no idea how long he has left in the wrestling business before stating that as long as he has Tyler Bate and the tag team titles, he will fight for as long as it keeps to take the titles. Tyler Bate says he loves the sound of that, as it has been a long, difficult climb to the top and with the power of patience, hard work and the fans' energy, they are the first team to hold the tag team titles in NXT and NXT UK. Trent Seven also brings to attention Tyler Bate holding the NXT UK and Heritage Cup Champions, making him the first Grand Slam winner in NXT UK history. Trent Seven then thanks the fans for their support all this time, and says that from here, it is onwards and upwards.

We hear from Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter. Smith says the goal is the NXT UK tag team titles, and after Carter says he already has ice around his neck and wrist and that it is time to put gold around their waists to "make the fit complete," Carter said that now is their time.

We see a video package chronicling the feud between Meiko Satomura and Blair Davenport. Satomura says that Davenport never faced her in Japan, and that Davenport seeks the one match that eluded her in Japan. Satomura says that Davenport may be one of the best, but she cannot match her. Davenport says that Satomura is the foreigner in her country, and that when they meet in the ring, it will be a flawless victory for her.
