Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for November 8, 2019

King Corbin shows up to start tonight's show. Corbin says that Survivor Series is in two weeks, and that it will be a fight for survival between Raw, SmackDown and NXT. He then says he considers NXT's takeover embarrassing, and blames it on Roman Reigns. Corbin lists off Roman's accolades - including beating cancer - and says that while Roman is a role model, the audience only cares about Roman has done from them lately, which is nothing. He says that Roman spends his days off with his family when the locker room is his family, and that he does not want the responsibility of being champion. He calls Roman half the man he used to be and says the fans are seeing through him. After stating that The Big Dog's testicles have shriveled to the size of marbles and that Roman is starting to sound like a chihuahua, we then see a video of the dog from Roman's Titantron with the sound of a small dog. Corbin mocks the video, then says Roman is not man enough to stand face-to-face with him when Roman does not show up. He then says that Roman is not here and is granting some kid's wish, then says Roman will be in the main event with him, where he will tear him limb from limb before the fans can take poop bags and take pieces of "The Big Dog's excrement" to take home as souvenirs. He then says the fans will bend the knee to their king.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E). Kofi Kingston and Big E laugh about The Revival (Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson) saying they are the ones to put Xavier Woods out of action, and Big E and Kofi say that they will become seven-time tag champions tonight for Woods.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) beat The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) to become WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions and become tag team champions for the seventh time.

Backstage, Sami Zayn talks with "The New" Daniel Bryan about last week, and says that under his watch, Daniel Bryan would have become NXT Champion. He says that guys like them need to stick together, and that he can do things for his career after what he has done for Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro. He asks Daniel Bryan to come to ringside during their tag team match against Ali and Shorty G to see what they can do together.

Heavy Machinery (Tucker and Otis) is attacked by Imperium (Walter, Fabian Aichner, Marcel Barthel, Alexander Wolfe) before the next match. Imperium is chased out of the ring by the SmackDown locker room, and they leave through the crowd.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Bayley and Sasha Banks. Bayley says that "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler only attacked her to be relevant, and says that she and Sasha put NXT on the map. Sasha says that the women in NXT will always be in their shadow, and Bayley confirms that she is indeed a threat at Survivor Series.

"The New" Daniel Bryan shows up to watch the next match from the stage.

Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro beat Ali and Shorty G after Sami Zayn provides a distraction.

Bayley guests on commentary for the next match.

Sasha Banks beats Nikki Cross with the Banks Statement. After the match, Bayley attacks Nikki in retaliation for attacking her earlier in the match, but Bayley herself is attacked by "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler. Baszler escapes through the crowd as Sasha runs into the ring.

Backstage, Sami Zayn demands an answer from "The New" Daniel Bryan as to whether he is with him or against him, saying he knows that Daniel wants to move forward as part of his team. Suddenly, the lights flicker, then go out completely. When they come back on, "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt is behind Daniel. Sami runs away as Bray puts Daniel in the Mandible Claw.

Tyson Fury shows up. Tyson says he has been travelling around the world and fighting opponents, but there is no place like home in the United Kingdom. He says he will finish what he started in his upcoming bout with Deonte Wilder, and says he is here to take care of unfinished business as well. Braun Strowman then shows up. Braun Strowman tells Tyson he wanted him, and here he is. Tyson thanks Braun for the opportunity in Saudi Arabia, saying it was the toughest fight of his life and that he sees why he is the "Monster Among Men." He then says they should fight again as a tag team. Strowman says he likes the idea, but there are not two people stupid enough to fight them unless they want "all four of these hands." Suddenly, The B-Team (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel) shows up. Curtis Axel says they are stupid enough to fight them, and Bo Dallas says that Curtis meant to say that everyone knows that the B in "B-Team" stands for fearless and that "we ain't scared of them hands." Strowman knocks The B-Team off the apron, then runs them down outside of the ring. Bo Dallas is thrown into a right hand by Tyson, and Curtis falls victim to a running powerslam.

Dana Brooke and Carmella beat Fire & Desire (Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville) to join Team SmackDown in the women's Survivor Series match at Survivor Series.

King Corbin beats Roman Reigns. During the match, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode show up and get attacked by Roman Reigns, but stay at ringside for the remainder of the match. Corbin wins when he hits End of Days following another distraction by Roode and Ziggler, who eat a Superman Punch and a Spear, respectively, before Corbin hits End of Days.
