Generation NXT - NXT recap for November 13, 2019

Lio Rush retains the NXT Cruiserweight Championship against Angel Garza, despite Garza getting his foot on the bottom rope.

Outside of the arena, it is revealed that Tegan Nox and Rhea Ripley have been attacked.

Xia Li beats Aliyah. After the match, it is revealed that Aliyah's nose has been injured following a kick in the face from Xia Li.

Finn Balor shows up. He asks what has happened to NXT and the business that he loves, stating that NXT used to be great but is now a joke. He says that Johnny Gargano is still sore from what happened three weeks ago, and says that he built this place only for "a bunch of little boys" moved in. He says that Matt Riddle has gotten a slap and hasn't been seen since, and as he challenges anybody in the back to throw down with him, he is attacked from behind by Riddle. Both men brawl in the ring, and Finn Balor escapes through the crowd. As Riddle tells Finn Balor that he can't run forever, The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong) show up and surround the ring. After Cole tells Riddle "Wrong place, wrong time," Tommaso Ciampa and Keith Lee show up and join Riddle in the ring. Cole asks them how stupid they can be after what they did on SmackDown and Raw, as they are the most dominant force in WWE. Keith Lee says he doesn't give a damn, and tells The Undisputed Era to get in the ring. As The Undisputed Era stand on the apron, Keith Lee says that they beat Daniel Bryan and did not back down from Seth Rollins, then asks if they will back down to him. Strong says Cole has had the most successful stretch in the past two weeks and deserves a night off, and if Lee wants to fight tonight, he'll have to fight him. Lee says he is not that picky, then referees shows up to make sure things do not escalate. Lee then grabs Strong as everyone else leaves as a start to the next match.

Keith Lee beats Roderick Strong. During the match, the rest of The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly) show up, but but Tommaso Ciampa and Matt Riddle show up and fight them. During the outside brawl, Finn Balor shows up and fights Riddle and drop kicks him into the steel steps. This distracts Keith Lee, but not enough to allow Roderick Strong the victory. After the match, The Undisputed Era attacks Keith Lee and Tommaso Ciampa, but all of a sudden, Dominik Dijakovic shows up and lays out The Undisputed Era single-handedly. He then tells Ciampa that if he is going to war, he is in. Ciampa and Dijakovic shake hands, then Dijakovic has a staredown with Keith Lee, who then extends his hand. Both men then shake hands.

Outside of the arena, it is revealed that Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir and Candice LeRae have been laid out. (One of the people checking on LeRae is "The Smoke Show" Scarlett Bordeaux, who is officially in NXT.)

Isaiah "Swerve" Scott beats Bronson Reed. Both men shake hands after the match.

It is announced that as per General Manager William Regal, Finn Balor will face Matt Riddle at NXT TakeOver: War Games, and that Riddle will be replaced by Dominik Dijakovic in the men's War Games Match.

We see a vignette for The Forgotten Sons (Jaxson Ryker, Steve Cutler, Wesley Blake).

Damian Priest attacks Killian Dain before Killian's match against Pete Dunne, then brawls with Pete Dunne on the outside. Killian Dain then charges at both of them, and members of security have to separate all three men. This fails, and all three men continue to brawl after Damian Priest single-handedly takes out all of security with a crucifix bomb to the outside.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Mia Yim. Mia says she has to look over her shoulder every few minutes, but she does not expect anything different from Raw or SmackDown. She says NXT is the main roster, but she knows how to handle her business. As Mia Yim says she has this match, Dakota Kai shows up and tells Mia Yim there are no hard feelings and that she has her back should anything go down.

Io Shirai beats Mia Yim in a ladder match to win the advantage for her team in the women's War Games Match. During the match, Dakota Kai shows up and checks on Mia Yim, but Io Shirai takes them both out with a moonsault from the top rope. When Shirai goes up the ladder to get the briefcase, Dakota Kai powerbombs her off the ladder, then helps Mia Yim to the ladder. As Mia YIm climbs up the ladder, Kay Lee Ray of NXT UK shows up and shoves Io Shirai into the steel steps before shoving the ladder that Mia Yim is climbing to the side, sending Mia Yim tumbling through another ladder. Kay Lee Ray then helps Io Shirai to the ladder, where Shirai takes the briefcase and wins the advantage for her team. After the match, "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler shows up and applauds Kay Lee Ray for her efforts while Shirai and Kay Lee Ray celebrate with Shirai, then Baszler is suddenly attacked from behind with a steel chair by Bayley. Bayley runs to the back as Kay lee Ray and Bianca Belair chase after her before checking on Baszler to end the show.
