Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for November 15, 2019

King Corbin shows up on a royal throne on a platform held up and carried to the ring by six men to start tonight's show. When he enters the ring, Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler are also there. He demands that everyone pay loyalty to his kingdom much like Roode and Ziggler have, then says that Roman Reigns is a shell of the man he used to be and that Roman refuses to believe that just like most of the fans. He then says that he has proven that it is not Roman's yard, but his kingdom, and as king, he declares by royal decree that he is now the team captain for SmackDown at Survivor Series in the war against Raw and NXT. He then says there are two weak links that he plans to get rid of as he hopes that Roman pulls his weight, as Roman is "a step behind." Ziggler says Shorty G and Ali are only on the team because they are "running with Roman" and do not deserve it, saying it should be him and Roode. Roode says that participation trophies have been given out, and that this will not fly under Corbin's rule. Ziggler says that he and Roode will not only beat Shorty G and Ali, they will take their spots at Survivor Series. Corbin then says that he will invite Roman Reigns to the ring right now for their celebration, as he wants to make sure that they can co-exist at Survivor Series. Roman's music hits, but a person in a bulldog costume shows up while barks are heard over Roman's music. The person in the bulldog suit gets in the ring and bows to Corbin at Corbin's command.

Ali (now known as Mustafa Ali again) and Shorty G beat Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode to stay on SmackDown's men's Survivor Series team. During the match, Roman Reigns shows up, and the person in the bulldog suit leaves through the crowd as Roman confronts Corbin. Later on in the match, Roman hits Corbin with the Spear at ringside after stopping Corbin from introducing his staff into the match as a weapon.

It's time for the Firefly Fun House. "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt says something is not quite right here. He then spins around and turns into a magician, then turns the WWE Universal Championship from red to blue. He then mentions Miz TV with special guest Daniel Bryan, and says that he - and The Fiend - will be watching.

Backstage, King Corbin tells Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler that he will fix their Survivor Series situation before leaving with the person in the bulldog suit.

Before the next match, Drew Gulak says The B-Team (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel) is with him because they want to learn. He then starts a PowerPoint presentation if he were to replace Strowman at Survivor Series, then says he lasted longer against Tyson Fury than he thought he would. After Gulak tells Strowman that he has much more to learn, Strowman grabs Gulak's finger, then he and The B-Team try to attack him only to fail miserably.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E). When asked if they will be successful without Xavier Woods again, Big E asks "Is a pig tiddly bit pork?" while Kofi says that Xavier Woods is with them in spirit.

Backstage, Sami Zayn and Shinsuke Nakamura demand an answer from "The New" Daniel Bryan on whether he will join them tonight now that "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt, and says he will need them more than ever. He says that he, Nakamura and Cesaro all want Daniel with them, and asks Daniel if he is with them. Daniel says he has thought about this all week, then asks why Sami ran away when The Fiend had him in the Mandible Claw. Sami says he thought Daniel ran with him and that he was looking for Nakamura, but Daniel tells Sami that he is not joining his group. He then says he has the perfect person for his group: Braun Strowman. As Sami says that they are intellectuals and that Braun Strowman is just big and strong, Braun snakes up on Sami. Sami changes his tune and leaves his Nakamura.

The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships ends with The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong) attacking both teams. The SmackDown locker room soon rush into the ring, and The Undisputed Era flee through the crowd. The New Day retain the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

Heavy Machinery (Tucker and Otis) beat Kevin Tibbs and Kip Stevens.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Bayley and Sasha Banks. Bayley says she is a force to be reckoned with, and that Becky Lynch and "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler will not underestimate her again. She says she has made it about her now, and that she will crush Nikki Cross' dreams. Sasha says she and Bayley have beaten Nikki Cross multiple times and that she will let Bayley go out on her own and beat Nikki again. Bayley says that afterwards, she will join Team SmackDown and beat the other two teams.

We see footage from the WrestleMania on-sale party in Tampa, Florida.

Next week: Roman Reigns, Mustafa Ali and Shorty G vs. King Corbin, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode!

Nikki Cross vs. Bayley ends in a no-contest. During the match, "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler shows up from out of the crowd. Bayley tries to escape through the crowd, but Rhea Ripley, Tegan Nox, Mia Yim and Dakota Kai show up from behind her and toss her back over the barricade. Sasha Banks shoves Baszler to the mat from behind, then the women of NXT rush into the ring. The SmackDown women's locker room then go at it with the women of NXT and end up getting the upper hand. As the women of NXT escape through the crowd, Sasha then challenges the women of NXT to a 4-on-4 match against her and three other women on SmackDown. The women of NXT accept.

Sasha Banks, Nikki Cross, Carmella and Dana Brooke beat Rhea Ripley, Tegan Nox, Dakota Kai and Mia Yim. After the match, the women of NXT continue to attack the women of SmackDown, and some more women from the SmackDown women's locker room run in to force the women of NXT to retreat.

It's time for Miz TV. Tonight's guest is Daniel Bryan. Daniel gives Miz no answer when asked why "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt attacked him, and Miz says The Fiend sees that Daniel is conflicted about who he is and is taking advantage of that, and says that nobody knows who Daniel is anymore. Miz then says that The Fiend thinks Daniel Bryan is washed up and wants to end him, then Daniel Bryan says he was quiet because Miz TV is and always has sucked. He then admits he is not he man he used to be. Daniel also says he may be washed up and mentally unstable, but he still has the passion that he had all that time. Miz tries to talk over him, but Daniel tells him to shut up and says the mental stability combined with his passion got him to new heights. He says that Bray Wyatt understands this because he is mentally unstable, and as he is about to state that a mentally unstable person has a better chance of beating him, Bray Wyatt shows up on the TitanTron. Bray tells Daniel that talking about him behind his back is bad manners, then says that The Fiend attacked him either to scare him, to remind him of what he did, or just to play with him. Bray then opens a nearby toy box and pulls out the WWE Universal Championship, and if Daniel Bryan wants to play, all he has to do is say yes. Daniel says no, but Bray's friends all say yes. Daniel Bryan says he will not play with Bray or his puppets, as he is trying to manipulate him or the people. He says he is not a puppet, and he knows Bray has a problem with him. If he wants to fight, they can fight and do it for the Universal Championship. Bray Wyatt says yes, then proceeds to repeat the word "yes" in a reference to the Yes! Movement before he disappears off the TitanTron. Miz then announces that the match is official for Survivor Series.

Here are the top ten moments from tonight's show!
