After Dark - AEW Dark recap for October 15, 2019

At the start of the show, Kenny Omega tells The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) he does not have a match this week, and wants a lights-out unsanctioned match with Joey Janela on Dark. He gets it.

Before the next match, "The Librarian" Peter Avalon says it is unfortunate that the fans are not giving him the respect he deserves, as he has competed in October unlike the Boston Red Sox. He says it blows him away that a place surrounded by the top universities in the world would rather look at a magazine with Tom Brady's face on it. He also says that Boston is not good at "bringing home cups" and that he would have to go to St. Louis, Missouri for a cup of water. "The Librarian" Leva Bates apologizes to the crowd and walks off.

"Superbad" Kip Sabian beats "The Librarian" Peter Avalon and Sonny Kiss in a three-way match.

TheHybrid2 (Angelico and Jack Evans) and The Dark Order (Evil Uno and Stu Grayson) beat SoCal Uncensored ("The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, Scorpio Sky) and Cima after TheHybrid2 kick Kazarian in the groin behind the referee's back.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes interviews referee Aubrey Edwards for "From Undesirable To Undeniable." Aubrey Edwards talks about her brief refereeing career as well as the few times that she worked for WWE.

Kenny Omega beats "The Bad Boy" Joey Janela in a lights-out unsanctioned match.
