Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 7, 2019

The show begins with Randy Orton and King Corbin attacking Rusev in the ring. Suddenly, Bobby Lashley shows up on the TitanTron in Rusev's robe, in Rusev's house and in Rusev's bedroom. Lashley gets in the bed, then realizes that the one thing missing is Rusev's wife: Lana, who shows up and gets in bed with Lashley. She then says that everything she and Rusev owns is now in her name, and while Rusev may not be having fun, she is. Lana then takes off her bra from behind the sheets and laughs along with Lashley as Lashley turns off the lights. Orton and Corbin are laughing at ringside, and Rusev notices this and attacks them. Corbin gets sent into the steel steps, and Orton takes a fallaway slam into the barricade before Rusev takes his anger out on the both of them.



Before the next match, Lacey Evans is next to an aluminum trash can with the word "Natalya" on it. Lacey Evans says it is the end of the road, where the trash is taken out for disposal. After Natalya hit her after their match lat night, a "Last Lady Standing" Match is the only place to go. She plans to be the last lady standing while Natalya is taken out like the trash she is.

Natalya beats Lacey Evans in a Last Woman Standing Match after powerbombing Lacey off the stage and into a table.



We hear from Aleister Black, who calls Raw a place of competiton, tradition and battle. He says he requires battle, for underneath his calm and collective demeanor, he is as unforgiving as fire and as cold and permanent as death. He says that he is forever restless, and demands that somebody knock on his door and pick a fight with him.

Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) recap what has happened on the show so far, then say that they are getting ready the WWE Draft. They then do a scouting report on Apollo Crews, Buddy Murphy and Drake Maverick, then focus on Tyson Fury.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Tyson Fury, who says that he is not provoking Braun Strowman. Tonight, he wants an apology from Strowman, and if he doesn't get it, Strowman will "get these hands."

The Viking Raiders (Ivar and Erik) beat Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.



We hear from Aleister Black, who says that he will head down to the ring to see who wants to pick a fight with him.

Before the next match, The Singh Brothers (Samir and Sunil Singh) says the WWE showcase was the perfect reason to come back to Raw and make an award-winning statement, and state that they want to pick a fight with Aleister Black. Aleister shows up.

Aleister Black beats The Singh Brothers (Samir and Sunil Singh) by submission.



Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Braun Strowman, who says he was trying to have a little fun, but if Tyson Fury wants to take it seriously, so will he. He says that Tyson Fury might have a devastating punch, but so does her. Strowman then says that if Fury asks nicely for an apology, he might get one; otherwise, he will get these hands.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Rey Mysterio. Rey thanks the fans and the Superstars for their support, and says he is proud of Dominick for taking a beating like a man. He says that the emotional scars will take longer to heal, and that he is resting at the moment. He says that he had to watch Brock Lesnar maul his son and not be able to do anything about it, and he felt like he let his entire family down. At the hospital, Dominick's godfather Cain Velaszquez showed up. Rey then says that Cain is a man that Lesnar legitimately fears and that if anyone can avenge Dominick, it is him.

We hear from The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar), who say that they have learned to bring every scrap of food they can to their families and that they have the will to take food from another man. They state that nobody in the locker room has the killer instinct and the will that they were born with to take from others and instill violence in WWE.



The O.C. ("The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson) beat The Lucha House Party (Kalisto, Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado). After the match, The O.C. continue to attack The Lucha House Party, and Lince Dorado falls victim to a Styles Clash from the middle rope.



It's time for Miz TV. Tonight's guests are Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch. Becky says that if Sasha Banks were in front of her right now, she would remind her that she kicked her ass last night. Charlotte simply says it is good to be the queen. When their tag team match tonight is brought up, Becky and Charlotte have an argument over who is the better woman before The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) show up. Asuka and Kairi Sane speak in Japanese, then Becky dares them to get in the ring. This starts a brawl, and a referee shows up to get the next match underway.



The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) beat Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch after Asuka spits green mist into Becky's face during the Dis-Arm-Her. After the match, both teams continue to brawl. Suddenly, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross show up and overpower The Kabuki Warriors.



The Chavez Family are the recipient of the Little Caesars Seat Upgrade.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Apollo Crews. He says he and Ricochet go way back, so it is an honor to be in the ring with him. However, the WWE Draft is about opportunity, not admiration. He says that tonight is his showcase.

We hear from The Viking Raiders, who says that Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode joined the dregs of the fallen and learned that nobody can stop them from their fate. Next week, they will become WWE Raw Tag Team Champions.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Ricochet. He says that if he is drafted to SmackDown, then he couldn't think of a better opponent that one of his best friends. He is ready to prove that superheroes can be real regardless of where he ends up in the WWE Draft.

Ricochet beats Apollo Crews.



Jerry "The King" Lawler introduces Tyson Fury. Tyson Fury demands an apology from Braun Strowman, who quickly shows up. Strowman tells Tyson Fury that he wanted security to let him go, as he felt Tyson had no idea what he was in for and he would have eaten him alive. Tyson says he would have knocked Strowman out, but Strowman says the opposite would have happened. After Tyson Fury asks Strowman how many titles he has won after stating he is heavyweight champion of the world, both men quickly get into a physical confrontation. Security that is on hand separate both men, but they are quickly wiped out. The locker room has to run into the ring to keep both men separated, but even that is not enough as both men are still able to get their hands on each other. Afterwards, Charly Caruso interviews Strowman, who says that Tyson Fury is "one tough son-of-a-bitch" and that he will get these hands before it is over and done with. He says that Fury deserves no apology, then goes after him again to end the show.
