Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for August 17, 2019

Ian Riccaboni and Quinn McKay host a recap of Manhattan Mayhem and Mass Hysteria, as well as a preview of Honor For All. Matches covered and other things in the episode include:

a backstage promo from Kelly Klein, who says that Karissa Rivera is ready for Women of Honor before telling her she has her chance at the Women of Honor World Championship tonight

Rush vs. TK O'Ryan at Manhattan Mayhem

"The Last Real Man" Silas Young vs. "The Darewolf" PJ Black at Mass Hysteria

Kevin Klein retains the ROH Women of Honor World Championship against Karissa Rivera. After the match, Sumie Sakai shows up and helps Karissa up, then Kelly Klein acknowledges that Sumie is in Karissa's corner and that Karissa is not ready for the Women of Honor title yet; however, if she keeps doing what she is doing with the endorsement of a former Women of Honor Champion, she will give her another opportunity. She then acknowledges that Karissa is ready for Ring of Honor. All of a sudden, the lights go out, then The Allure (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky) show up. Velvet Sky says everyone knows that everything going on in the ring right now is "a load of crap," and says Angelina should have been in the match and not "whatever this is" as she refers to Karissa. She goes on to say that Angelina earned the right to a title shot after kicking Klein's head in, not Karissa. Angelina then says that Matt Taven has gone on about how there is a conspiracy in Ring of Honor, and that he is right, except the conspiracy is against The Allure. Klein says there is no conspiracy; just the truth that Women of Honor doesn't want "bitches like you."

a backstage promo where Kelly Klein states that Women of Honor means a lot to women like her, Karissa Rivera and Sumie Sakai, and that The Allure (Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, "The Exotic Goddess" Mandy Leon) do not belong here while women like them will show what Women of Honor is all about

The Defy or Deny Match between Flip Gordon, PCO, Mark Haskins and Matt Taven from State of the Art

Villain Enterprises ("The Villain" Marty Scurll, PCO, Brody King) retain the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships against Shinobi Shadow Squad (Cheeseburger, Eli Isom, Ryan Nova).
