205:Alive - 205 Live recap for August 13, 2019

Akira Tozawa beats "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher despite Gallagher putting his foot on the bottom rope. During the replay, it is noted that The Brian Kendrick has inadvertently slapped the bottom rope, unintentionally knocking Gallagher's foot off the rope.

We hear from Oney Lorcan, who says that he should have won the Cruiserwight Championship at SummerSlam. Instead, Drew Gulak punched him in the throat, and their war is not over until he beats Gulak and wins the Cruiserweight title.

Before the next match, footage from earlier today is shown. General Manager Drake Maverick and Humberto Carrillo notice that Gran Metalik has been attacked. Maverick replaces Metalik with Carrillo in tonight's six-man tag match.

Humberto Carrillo and The Lucha House Party (Kalisto and Lince Dorado) beat Ariya Daivari and The Singh Brothers (Samir and Sunil Singh).

We hear from Drew Gulak, who says that change is inevitable and that he asks for a worthy challenger to step up or step aside. Instead, ghosts have stepped up to him as if nothing has changed. He says that his 205 Live is a battlefield where all is fair in war, and if one has not made the necessary sacrifices, he will go through them. He says that the only constant is change and that he is the law.

We hear from "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese. He may have lost his opportunity to go to SummerSlam, but he has learned that he must start from scratch, learn from his mistake, and work his way back up to the Cruiserweight Championship.

Drew Gulak retains the WWE Cruiserweight Championship against Oney Lorcan in a SummerSlam rematch after Lorcan passes out from the Gu-Lock.
