Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling presented by PRO Shingle recap for August 31, 2019

Robert Baines beats Alex Salyers by submission.

Backstage, Kathy Campanelli interviews Danny "Limelight" Rivera, who says that Howdy Price is hiding behind Rogelio like a bully hiding behind a mask to pick on little kids. He plans to beat Rogelio next week and move on to bigger and better things.

Watts beats Ray Rosas with a single knockout blow. After the match, Ray Rosas is distraught. Rosas takes the microphone and says that he told himself that when wrestling stopped being fun anymore, he would not do it any more, and questions whether he is good enough before stating CWFH never put him in a position to succeed. He states that he is always the guy who gets knocked down to get back up every single time, then says that's not good enough any more and that this is goodbye. Jordan Clearwater tries to stop him, and tells Rosas that he, the fans and everyone in the back needs him. He helps Rosas back up, but Rosas says "Screw the fans, screw everyone in the back and screw you!" before punching Clearwater in the face and leaving.

The Rocknes Monsters (YUMA and BHK) beat The Millennials (Brendan Devine and Daniel Moon). After the match, The Rocknes Monsters are attacked and decimated by Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster The Legend).

Ty Matthews tells us about the second step in Hyperoptimism: serenity. He says the only true path to wellness is a clear mind, and to let one's stresses melt away so they can be a blank canvas upon which he can paint.

Heather Monroe beats Sandra Moone after Halston Boddy distracts the referee so that Heather can hit Sandra with a fan for the win. After the match, Heather Monroe says she has run through every single woman put in front of her and that she is bored. She states that she wants a challenge, and after mentioning that she was not contacted when the NWA Women's Championship was vacated. She challenges NWA Women's Champion Allysin Kay to a match for the title at Red Carpet Rumble.

Double Platinum (Suede Thompson and Chris Bey) beat Wasted Youth (Sketch and Adriel Noctis). After the match, Jamie Iovine states that Double Platinum and The Upper Class still delivers, and that they will continue to dominate until they win all the gold, as they take what they want because they can. Double Platinum then attack Wasted Youth again.
