205:Alive - 205 Live recap for May 2, 2017

The show starts with the aftermath of the main event from this week's SmackDown Live.

TJP beats Lince Dorado with the knee bar after grabbing Lince Dorado's mask for a second time to escape a Sunset Flip Powerbomb pin.

In footage from earlier today, Corey Graves interviews The Brian Kendrick, who says he has been insulted by Akira Tozawa ever since he tried to take him under his wing, and says Tozawa thinks he is a know-it-all like all the other guys in the back. He says that Tozawa has fallen in love with the WWE Universe, and that he's playing around when he should be winning matches. As soon as Kendrick says he is done playing around, he is suddenly kicked in the face by Akira Tozawa, who then provides Lesson #5: "Always end an interview with impact."

Before the next match, Drew Gulak declares the arena a "no-fly zone."

Drew Gulak beats Mustafa Ali after getting the knees up to block a flog splash and rolling up Ali with a small package. After the match, Gulak calls his victory vindication for his campaign to stop high flying in 205 Live. He goes on to say that what he does works, as he is the future of 205 Live.

We see a video package of what's been going on between Noam Dar and Alicia Fox.

Noam Dar beats Rich Swann after working on Swann's left arm, which is hurt as he lands wrist-first during a Phoenix Splash. After the match, Alicia Fox shows up and gets back together with Noam Dar.
