They're On A Rampage - Rampage recap for January 5, 2024

The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) and Mark Briscoe beat Kip Sabian, The Butcher and The Blade in a trios match.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara. Sammy Guevara he and Jericho are looking to the present, then addresses Ricky Starks, saying he respects him because they are a lot alike and they overcome what the world has thrown at him. He admits he is talented and while he may be great, he is not better than him. Jericho says that if Big Bill tries to get involved, he will cut him down, poke him in the eye, hit him in the throat and make Uncle Joe cry.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker, Jake Hager, "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard and Anna Jay. Anna says she feels stagnant and numb, and that it is time for a change. After Anna states that she wants to face Hikaru Shida herself, Harley Cameron shows up wanting to help the four of them before whispering something into Angelo's ear that impresses Angelo. Nobody thinks there is anything weird or suspicious about this.

Stokely Hathaway replaces Justin Roberts as ring announcer before announcing Kennedi Hardcastle and Notorious Mimi's opponents: Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale. Kris gets all of the intro while Willow gets nothing, and Kris slaps Stokely Hathaway in the back of the head.

Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale beats Kennedi Hardcastle and Notorious Mimi. (Kennedi Hardcastle goes by the name "Kennedi Copeland" on the independent scene.)

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy). Jeff Hardy says they just got a good win and that the two of them need to be on Dynamite, then Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) shows up. Matt Hardy congratulates Private Party for coming back, then says it is time for them to be their own team. Matt Hardy then mentions Private Party calling them out, then hands them two ring-worn shirts before saying they will be both their childhood and their adulthood when they see them down the road very soon. The Hardys leave, then Isiah Kassidy expresses his hopes that he would get the armbands before Marq Quen says he will kick their asses.

Hikaru Shida beats Anna Jay.

Backstage, we hear from Sonjay Dutt, Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett and Karen Jarrett. Sonjay says they have a big tag team match coming up to get everyone back on the same page. Karen says their team needs a name, and Jeff calls Lethal "a loser." Jeff says he has won big matches, but Lethal says Jeff would not have won any of them if not for him. Jeff tells Lethal to leave and start his own winning streak, and Sonjay and Karen have to get both men to take a breather.

We see a video package of Adam Copeland vs. Christian Cage for the TNT Championship at Worlds End and Christian's victory speech from the following Dynamite.

Wheeler Yuta retains the Ring of Honor Pure Championship against Komander by submission after Komander runs out of rope breaks.
