Backstage, Santos Escobar talks with Rey Mysterio. Rey Mysterio says he has made the phone call and sent the text, but the person he is contacting has not gotten back to him. He then asks Escobar to trust him.
Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews Paul Heyman. Heyman says that John Cena and L.A. Knight do not like each other and are a team out of neccessity, the neccessity being The Bloodline (Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa). He then says that Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa have the same blood running through their veins and that Cena and Knight are trying to survive against them. He says tonight will be an easy vicotry for Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. When asked "What if they lose?", Paul Heyman asks what reason The Bloodline would have to lose as he chews out Byron Saxton.
Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Damage CTRL (Bayley, Iyo Sky, Dakota Kai). Bayley says that Iyo Sky is the genius of the sky and the genius of the WWE, then Iyo Sky stops her and says that she has her own strategy, and that she will not need Bayley tonight before leaving. Bayley and Dakota Kai then leave, concerned.
Jade Cargill is seen arriving at the arena.
Pat McAfee welcomes everyone to the show in the cold open.
"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and "Main Event" Jey Uso beat The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and Damian Priest) to become the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions after JD McDonagh inadvertently hits Priest in his bad knee with the Money In The Bank Briefcase, allowing Cody and Jey to hit Finn with a Cody Cutter/1D combo for the win and the titles.
Backstage, Wade Barrett and Booker T talk about both the beginning of the show and the matches to come. Xavier Woods shows up wanting to watch the show, even having gotten on the delivery app for Pizza Hut. For once, Wade Barrett does not have bad news.
The Latino World Order (Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar) and Carlito beat Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) in a six-man tag match. Late in the match, Carlito shows up and makes the save for Rey Mysterio as Escobar in out on the floor, and he hits Montez Ford with the Backstabber after fending off Lashley and The Street Profits for the win. After the match, Xavier Woods gifts Michael Cole and Corey Graves with a Pizza Hut Big Dinner Box, bringing Pizza Hut's sponsorship of the match full circle.
Iyo Sky retains the WWE Women's Championship against Charlotte Flair and Asuka. During the match, Bayley shows up to revive Iyo Sky on the outside, but gets booted into Iyo by Charlotte Flair. Shortly after this, Bayley distracts the referee as Charlotte Flair has Asuka in the Figure Eight, allowing Iyo Sky to hit Charlotte Flair with Over The Moonsault and pin Charlotte to retain.
In footage from earlier today, LA Knight slides into the arena in a Slim Jim car.
Pat McAfee heads to the ring. He says there was "no chance in hell" he would miss this show on this night in Indianapolis, Indiana before saying Indianapolis is not like other towns who don't care that WWE is here and have no energy. He says that Indianapolis, Indiana has deserved a WrestleMania, then asks the crowd to give him a "Hell Yeah" and "make them feel it in the back" when he asks if Indianapolis should have a WrestleMania. He then introduces John Cena to the ring before guesting on commentary for the next match.
John Cena and LA Knight beat The Bloodline (Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa) after John Cena knocks Solo Sikoa off the apron while hitting Jimmy Uso with the Five Knuckle Shuffle following a LA Knight Superplex, allowing Knight to hit Jimmy with the BFT for the win. After the match, Cena wants to raise Knight's hand, but Knight refuses, wanting to do the favor with.
Backstage, Finn Balor tells Damian Priest that tonight is not the night, but Damian Priest says that he is not going home empty-handed. Rhea Ripley reminds Priest that he himself did not want to rush this, and tells him to hand over the Money In The Bank Briefcase, which he does.
