Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for November 27, 2020

Jey Uso shows up to start tonight's show. Jey says that everybody should be talking about how Roman Reigns beat Drew McIntyre at Survivor Series, not about The Undertaker's farewell, especially when McIntyre was no pushover. Jey Uso then introduces Roman Reigns, who shows up with Paul Heyman before Jey can even utter his name. After a video package of Roman chewing Jey out for not winning the men's Survivor Series match followed by Jey helping Roman beat McIntyre, Roman tells Jey he did not need help with McIntyre, then asks Jey why Team SmackDown lost. Roman says that SmackDown lost the men's Survivor Series match because they do not fear and respect them, which also affects how everybody looks at them. He also says Jey's failures also make him look like a failure, and disapproves of it. As Jey Uso leaves, Otis heads to the ring for his match with King Corbin. Halfway down the ramp, Otis is suddenly attacked from behind with a steel chair by Jey Uso.

Before the next match, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode mock Otis being attacked earlier with fat jokes, then Ziggler says that he and Roode are focused on The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) and the SmackDown tag team titles. The Street Profits show up show up and brag about their Survivor Series victory, then make fun of Ziggler and Roode looking like Shawn Michaels and Rick Rude, respectively.

Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode beat The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) with a schoolkid pin from Roode to Ford.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan says he has had to accept a lot of things, such as Jey Uso having a devil on his back and Sami Zayn being more delusional than ever. He says that while Sami is talented, he will do anything to escape and stay the champion. He then says that Sami Zayn thinks everyone is out to get him, then says that he is after the Intercontinental Championship and that when he beats him, he will be one spot closer.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews the Mysterio family (Rey, Dominik and Aalyah Mysterio) and Murphy. Rey Mysterio says the past few months have been difficult, but he and his family have been thankfully for things and Murphy has realized what a piece of garbage Seth Rollins was. King Corbin shows up and calls Murphy a joke, then says Rey Mysterio passed on more bad choices and judgement than talent to Dominik, then says Dominik won't be here in a year.

Before the next match, Sami Zayn he does not respect Thanksgiving due to the atrocities committed upon Native Americans and the gluttony of people, then says Daniel Bryan has been trying to undermine him and that he had his chance to become champion and failed. He says that Daniel Bryan did nothing to deserve a championship match, but WWE management is willing to roll out the red carpet for Daniel because it is an obstacle for him. He is then interrupted by Daniel Bryan's entrance.

Sami Zayn beats Daniel Bryan by count-out after Daniel Bryan chases Sami Zayn backstage. Sami shows up and gets back in the ring, but Daniel Bryan fails to show. Backstage, Jey Uso attacks Daniel Bryan after the match, and Kevin Owens has to pull Jey Uso off of him as referees shows up. Kevin Owens goes after Jey Uso while referees tend to Daniel.

Backstage, Kevin Owens confronts Roman Reigns and Jey Uso, saying he has had it with their family problems, which are now affecting SmackDown. He then says that for someone who considers family important, he treats Jey like trash, then leaves. Roman says that Owens does not respect them, and tells Jey to fix this.

Bayley guests on commentary for the next match.

Bianca Belair beats Natalya after inadvertently punching Bayley at ringside before knocking her off the apron prior to a successful schoolkid pin on Natalya.

Paul Heyman is seen talking with Adam Pearce backstage.

Murphy beats King Corbin after the Mysterio family distracts Corbin and thwarts him at every turn, with Dominik pushing Corbin's foot off the top rope so Murphy can pin him. After the match, Corbin says his match was four-on-one, then calls the Mysterio family a bunch of spineless cowards before saying that he wants a rematch against Murphy and that he will be prepared next time.

Kevin Owens vs. Jey Uso is made official for later tonight, thanks to the backstage conversation earlier between Paul Heyman and Adam Pearce.

Backstage, Big E and Apollo Crews play basketball with a balled-up piece of paper and a garbage can when Sami Zayn shows up for an interview and says he beat Apollo in ten seconds. Apollo leaves, then Big E says that while Sami has built a house for himself, it is rickety, and his margin for error is razor-thin and they both know it. He also says his house is a house of cards and that the slightest force will make it tumble down. Sami says that Big E is not giving him the respect he deserves in the middle of an historic championship reign while Big E is bitter that his reign was largely forgotten, and says Big E should be applauding him. Big E claps for him, then shakes his hand only to crush his hand for ten seconds. When Kayla Braxton asks Sami Zayn if the interview is on, he yells "no" at her.

Billie Kay then guests on commentary with a few headshots in an attempt to get a commentary job. Michael Cole looks at the camera and silently signals the cameraman to cut away from the commentary table.

We hear from Carmella, who says that it is embarassing that the SmackDown Women's Championship fell so easily, and says that since Sasha Banks and Bayley "are finally done playing their middle school games," Sasha Banks will find out who the most dominant woman of SmackDown really is, and says that she lost it all when she catered to the fans much like Sasha does now. Carmella then says she now calls the shots and gives the orders, and that everyone else now jumps for her. When she snaps her fingers for a glass of champagne, she finds out that Sasha Banks is giving her the champagne, then the champagne ends up in Carmella's face before Sasha puts her in the Banks Statement.

Bianca Belair and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) advertise Black Friday deals on WWEShop.com.

Kevin Owens beats Jey Uso by disqualification after Jey hits Owens with a steel chair. After the match, Jey attacks Owens repeatedly with a steel chair, but Owens hits Jey with a Stunner to stop the attack. Owwens then gets a steel chair and smashes it into Jey's back repeatedly. As he does, Owens looks into the camera and asks Roman Reigns - who is watching backstage - if he is watching before telling him he fears no one, including Roman. Owens then tells Roman that if he has a problem with him, he should say it to his face, then gets back in the ring and hits Jey with another Stunner. Owens then sits at the side of the commentary table, and tells Roman he will be waiting as the show ends.

Here are the top ten moments from tonight's show!
