We hear from Josh "The Goods" Woods, who says that he expects performance out of himself, but while he lost his last match, he showed what ROH is all about. After mentioning his career and accolades, he says that Jay Lethal's accolades are not so impressive anymore, then says he is born for pure wrestling and comes from a long line of defensive wrestlers. He mentions his loss to Lethal in 2017, and while any move can be stopped or countered, he is not unprepared for that challenge. Woods also says that he does not want to win by judge's decision, as he does not want his future in someone's else hands when a victory against Lethal will take him to the top and change how people look at himself as he proves himself to be one of the best. We then hear from Jay Lethal, who says that he could not be more proud of how the pure matches are going and how everything is panning out, as the world is seeing good athletes and pure wrestling. Lethal says that while he won against LSG last week, he did not beat him, as LSG was beaten by the rules, and if the match went a minute longer, LSG would have been pinned or submitted. After stating that he respects LSG, he admits that Josh "The Goods" Woods is one of the most dangerous athletes, as the pure rules were made for him. He says while Woods may be a little cocky and a little over-confident, Woods is dangerous, and says that he will make sure he wins by pinfall or submission, too. He says that Woods should win this match, but he will not.

It's time for the premiere edition of Trending With Taven. Matt Taven's first guest is Mike Bennett, who talks about his five years in Ring of Honor and New Japan with Taven. He says that he has kept tabs on Taven since he left ROH, and feels that there is something missing in Taven that he could fix, and that Tave needed someone to have his back.
We hear from Mark Briscoe, who wants to be a twelve-time tag team champion with his brother Jay Briscoe, but Jay is worried about EC3. He says that Jay should be focused on the tag team titles, but since Jay is focused on EC3, he will get the titles himself, and all he needs is a partner.
We hear from Brody King, who says that he won against a serious Dalton Castle, and that his strategy going against Shane Taylor is immense. He says that while they have similar backgrounds, Taylor thinks someone is after him, while he is focused on success. He says that the last time he faced Taylor, Taylor got a cheap win, and while Taylor may have size and strength, he has that and speed. Brody says he deserves nothing and is ready to prove he is world champion material while Taylor says he deserves the title, and if Taylor wants to prove the same, he will have to go through him. We then hear from Shane Taylor, who says that a huge weight came off his shoulders after beating Kenny King, who he says knows why he did what he did. Taylor admits he does not know much about Brody King, other than he is upset because he dropped him on his head, and while he has no problem with him, he will not let Brody King beat him and take what he is after. He knows that the both of them are after the ROH World Championship and that Brody King has been on a collision course with him since he started, but he plans on taking Brody King out on the road to the world title, as nobody dictates what his value and worth is.
