Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for November 14, 2020

At the start of the show, we hear from Amy Rose, who speaks in Spanish while reminding us that La Faccion Ingobernables (Rush, Dragon Lee, Kenny King, Amy Rose) will be returning to dominate Ring of Honor.

In post-match comments from last week, Brody King says that the fire that was not in him for a while was lit inside of him, and that the new him is "just violence."

The Soldiers of Savagery (Moses and Kaun) and The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) send trash talk each others' way before the next match.

EC3 guests on commentary for the next match.

The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) beat The Soldiers of Savagery (Moses and Kaun). Both teams shake hands after the match, then EC3 stands in their way on the way to the back. EC3 stares blankly towards the ring as Jay wonders why he is standing there, but .

We hear from Bateman, who asks Matt Taven what it is like living like a coward after having been a world champion. He tells Taven that he should have used Final Battle as an out to leave. Taven says that Vincent's new triend is one of avoidance and that he cannot get out of his shadow. As Bateman tells Taven that he does not want Vincent and that he is a much nicer guy, Taven tells Vincent that karma comes to everyone and he is keeping that trend going. Matt Taven vs. Bateman is official for next week.

Backstage, Quinn McKay interviews The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe). Mark says EC3 is nothing to worry about, as he and Jay have won a big tag team match and they are coming for the tag team titles. Jay is still wondering what EC3 was up to, and thinks that EC3 might have a problem with him. Jay Briscoe then challenges EC3 to a match next week.

We hear from Shane Taylor, who says he is here to make history after coming from a rough upbringing in a tough neighborhood. He says that professional wrestling gave him a focus and a goal, then talks about how he was trained by Ray Rowe (now known as Erik in WWE), who helped him get his foot in the door, and about his short-lived tag team with Keith Lee before he became part of The Rebellion with Kenny King and Rhett Titus, who brought the same message that he is sending now. Taylor says that his legacy rests on getting past Kenny King, who he has come up short against in the past and predicted that Taylor would be greater than he was then. Taylor says that he has always needed a chip on his shoulder and a reason to hate his opponent, and that he must get past Kenny King as he knows him better than anyone else does. In order to do that, Taylor says he has to hit Kenny with something he has never seen before, and if he can do that, he can send a message to La Faccion Ingobernables (Rush, Dragon Lee, Kenny King, Amy Rose). We then hear from Kenny King, who feels like he has been screwed in some of his mosrt important matches, and says he has joined La Faccion Ingobernables because they promised to take care of all that. He also says that his lawyers will deal with the ROH Pure Tournament decision of him losing by decision. On the subject of Shane Taylor, he talks about how he beat him and told Taylor that he had know how great he was going to be. Kenny goes on to say that Taylor has indeed gone on to be great, and says that their match tonight is not a passing of the torch, but another opportunity to send Shane Taylor to the back of the line, because while Taylor may be one step ahead, he only taught Taylor everything that Taylor knows and not everything that he knows.

Shane Taylor beats Kenny King. Both men hug after the match.
