Total Bellas Island - Total Bellas recap for November 12, 2020

Season 6 begins with Nikki finding out her vagina is puffy due to her pregnancy when she tries to shave "down there." Brie tells her to "own her pregnancy" and that her outward appearance will change during her pregnancy. Brie and Nikki then talk about how they have gotten pregnancy at the same time as well as the many things they have been doing in isolation in the last couple of months, including their autobiography.

Nikki walks into the kitchen as Brie is making smoothies. Both of them are worried about their autobiography, as Nikki has included two stories that she has only told a few people and that she doesn't want to make their mother Kathy feel bad.

At Nikki's house, Artem is building a crib. Nikki wishes she could have their baby in Arizona, but they are far more familitar with the health services in Los Angeles. Brie and Nikki admit they are not very knowledgeable in raising a child. Brie and Nikki teach Artem how to swaddle a baby by swaddling Artem.

At Brie and Bryan's house, Brie calls Bryan, who is in a hotel. Bryan says it has been difficult for him working all the time, but Brie is not as busy and when they are at home, they are at home together. Brie mentions that Nikki and Artem have not even do so much as read a book about how to raise a child, but says that even with all the knowledge she got learning how to raise a child, she still had breakdowns.

At Nikki's house, Brie and Nikki have a video chat with their mother Kathy. Kathy mentions that masks help hide her Bell's Palsy, which she was diagnosed with a few months ago. Brie and Nikki mention the stress that they have had making their autobiography, and Nikki mentions that there are a few stories about her that she will read about for the first time, and that she is okay even after holding them back for twenty years.

Brie, Bryan and Birdie make fake baby noises for Nikki and Artem, but when Bryan makes one, it gets too loud and Birdie cries for real. Bryan talks about the preparations that he and Brie made before having a child, and says that Brie has prepared a boot-camp style preparation on how to take care of a baby. Nikki mentions how graceful Artem is on the fatherly duties.

Artem talks about how hard it is to see a doctor while in quarantine while Nikki has a baby. Nikki goes to the doctor's office, and when she comes back home, she tells Artem that there was a speck on the baby's heart during the anatomy check and that their new baby might have a heart problem. Nikki is worried about the future of her new baby, but Artem says they should not panic.

At Brie and Bryan's house, Brie and Birdie pretend to make s'mores in front of a pretend campfire when Nikki shows up and mentions her new baby's potential heart problems. Brie tells her not to freak out and to talk to her doctor. Nikki talks about the stress of pregnancy, and Brie tells her to head to Los Angeles and see her doctor.

The release day of the Bellas' autobiography has come. The story of how Nikki was raped twice as a teenager is made public for the first time, and the story makes headlines.

At Nikki's house, Kathy calls Nikki regarding her story of how she was raped twice as a teenager, despite not having read the book yet. Kathy wishes that she could have been more of a help to Nikki.

Nikki and Artem pack for a day in Los Angeles for a trip to Nikki's doctor. Nikki talks about how she has been used to being in quarantine in Phoenix and that she wished they were doing the whole doctor's visit in Phoenix. In Los Angeles, Nikki gets an anatomy scan on her baby again, and finds out that her baby will more than likely be fine.

At Artem's house, Nikki mentions that while having a baby in Phoenix is more advantageous, she will have problems with her insurance, and she will have to have her baby in Los Angeles.

At Nikki's house, Nikki gets a call from Kathy. Kathy says she has read about the story of Nikki's rape, and says that to read what she went through breaks her heart. Kathy says that she feels like a failure and wishes she could change things for Nikki, and wishes she could have been there for her even with all of the things she was going through at the same time. Kathy says that Nikki's story will help some young women.

Brie, Nikki and Biride go to the car wash. Nikki tells Brie that her baby's heart will be fine. Nikki talks about how she really wanted to give birth alongside Brie and how it cannot really happen now due to the COVID-19 pandemic and due to her insurance forcing her to pay in full if they have the baby in Phoenix.
