Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for June 3, 2020

The show begins with AEW showing solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.

Kenny Omega and "Hangman" Adam Page retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships against "Superbad" Kip Sabian and Jimmy Havoc. During the match, FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) are seen watching the match from afar in the stands.

In footage from earlier this week, Tully Blanchard chews out Shawn Spears, telling him to change what is in his heart or else he will never leave a championship legacy. We then see footage from earlier today where Tully tells that Spears and that "the missing piece" is in the box in his hands. Inside the box is a black, fingerless glove.

Brian Cage beats Shawn Dean. After the match, Taz says that he and Brian Cage talked about last week's match and what he said to Jon Moxley afterwards. He says that Moxley had the audacity to snicker and giggle while he explained how Brian Cage would destroy him. He says that he and Cage do not play games, and that Moxley should be careful or else Cage will rip his head off. Suddenly, Moxley shows up, and Taz tells Moxley to think and be careful before entering the ring. Moxley enters the ring without hesitation, then says he was smiling last week is why he is smiling right now because of the thought of getting into war with Brian Cage with the level of intensity that he has. He then says that stepping into the ring with him with the AEW World Championship on the line is the farthest thing from a game, and says that both he and Cage are far from indestructible and that it would take Cage all night long to destroy him. He admits that Cage is different from what he has faced in AEW, but he is a different thing entirely and Cage will find this out the hard way at Fyter Fest. He tells Taz and Cage not to waste time intimidating him, and to remember who they are talking about the next time they mention his name.

In footage from earlier today, Alex Marvez interviews Lance Archer, who says one loss means nothing to him and that nobody in AEW will stop him, for he is here to be a monster and show pain and torture like never before.

In footage from earlier today, Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) are at the bar when Matt Hardy shows up and says that he enjoyed their match last week. He calls Private Party "the future of AEW" and says that their bond reminds me of his bond with Jeff Hardy. Hardy asks them to come to advice if they need it. After Marq Queen reveals that his knee is just fine after last week, Isiah Cassidy proposes they be a three-man team called "Hardy Party," which Matt Hardy likes. Matt leaves, then meets Sammy Guevara and says "We're cool now...respect." before leaving. Guevara is mystified by this.

In backstage footage from last week, Chris Jericho yells at Colt Cabana, saying that he got in his way of knocking "Iron" Mike Tyson out.

Sammy Guevara is seen "singing" Chris Jericho's entrance theme before the next match.

Chris Jericho beats Colt Cabana. After the match, Jericho says what happened to Cabana will happen to "Iron" Mike Tyson, whom he calls a "piece of shit." He says that him vs. Tyson is the fight everyone wants to see, and that after tasting Cabana's blood on his fist, he wants to do the same with Tyson's after shoving his head up his ass. Jericho then demands Tyson get in the ring with him right here, right now. Instead of "the baddest man on the planet," he gets Orange Cassidy instead. Cassidy puts Jericho's hands behind his belt, then avoids Jericho and Jake Hager when they attack and is brought over the guardrail by Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent).

We see a video package of Dr. Britt Baker on the road to recovery.

"The Native Beast" Nyla Rose beats Big Swole after countering Dirty Dancing with a spinebuster. After the match, Tony Schiavone interviews Big Swole, who says it is good to be back after two months, as the time off has re-centered her. Suddenly, she is interrupted by Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D., who runs into the barricade in her "Role's Royce" wanting a piece of Big Swole, who shoves Schiavone out of the way, grabs a steel chair and forces Britt to retreat.

In footage from earlier today, Tony Schiavone interviews Darby Allin, who says that life is one big joke and that he will get the last laugh against Brian Cage.

Tony Schiavone interviews FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler). Harwood says that FTR is a way of life for them and not a tag line, and that Wheeler says it means whatever they want it to mean. Harwood says that now they are in AEW, they are part of the revolution, and Wheeler says that right now, FTR means "For The Revolution." They both agree that there are a lot of tag teams in AEW that they want to face in the ring, and that a match with The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) is not a dream match for them, as they are less than impressed with their accolades; nevertheless, they are saving their aggression towards them for the ring when they beat them once and for all and prove who is better. After Tony Schiavone, The Butcher and The Blade show up wanting a piece of FTR, and staff has to hold them back. Wheeler tells them taht if they are businessmen, and if they want to handle things like businessmen, then they can settle it in the ring. FTR then leaves after Wheeler throws a water bottle at The Butcher, further agitating him and The Blade.

Next week: Colt Cabana vs. Sammy Guevara! Marq Quen in action for the AEW TNT Championship! The Butcher and The Blade vs. FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler)! The Inner Circle (Santana, Ortiz, Jake Hager) vs. Best Friends (Chuck Taylor, Trent, Orange Cassidy)! Next week on Dark: Jon Moxley in action!

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Colt Cabana, who says that he has shown he can hang with the big guys in the spotlight, but the big victories are lurking over his shoulder. Suddenly, Colt is approached by The Dark Order saying that without loss, one cannot grow, and that what one does after loss is important. After offering to help him and handing him a water bottle, they leave.
"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes retains the AEW TNT Championship against Jungle Boy in the championship's first-ever defense in a match that sees Cody get busted open and Jungle Boy have a verbal confrontation with MJF at ringside.

Here are the top five moments from tonight's show!
