Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Angel Garza and Zelina Vega. Zelina says there are no arguments here and that nobody cost anybody the United States Championship, but Garza says he was only trying to help Andrade and that when you care deeply about something or someone, you must be willing to let it go. He says that they feel for Andrade and Kevin Owens, and Zelina Vega says that Garza will beat Owens again tonight. Andrade shows up and wishes Garza luck, and says that if he loses, Garza will be able to get over his disappointment.
Kevin Owens beats Angel Garza. During the match, Andrade shows up to watch from ringside, and shortly afterwards, Zelina Vega leaves after Andrade and Garza argue, saying she is sick of the infighting. Later on, Andrade gets on the ring apron, but Owens hits the Stunner for the win despite it. After the match, Zelina Vega returns as Andrade confronts Garza, then tells Andrade and Garza to start fighting together as they are both fighting for the same thing.
Backstage, MVP tells Bobby Lashley that he will have everything he has been promised before Sarah Schreiber interviews them. MVP says that Lashley was cheated out of the WWE Championship and that they will address this right now.
MVP and Bobby Lashley show up. MVP says that Lashley had his night at Backlash ruined and that Drew McIntyre had the gall to take advantage of the situation. She says that Lana quenched her thirst for attention by coming to the ring, and blames her for Lashley not being WWE Champion. He says that McIntyre would give Lashley a rematch if he had any integrity, then says he does not and that he is hiding behind another man's wife. Lana shows up and says it was Lashley's idea to ban her from ringside, and that she would do anything for him, including put her career on hold, and says that everything went wrong when MVP shows up. MVP calls Lana a "thot," and Lana tells MVP was everything was fine until he showed up and that she and Lashley was on a hot streak. Lashley blames Lana for his loss, saying she made last night all about her. He then says he is tired of Lana putting their business out there for all to see on social media and using him to get famous, but Lana says she would have slept with someone more famous than him if she wanted to do that. Lashley then tells Lana he wants a divorce.
Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) and The Viking Raiders (Ivar and Erik). Akira Tozawa and the ninjas return, and Tozawa says "Sequel" before bringing out the tall ninja. Everyone has to hold Erik back as Tozawa and the ninjas walk away, then Montez Ford says he has an idea.
The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) and The Viking Raiders (Ivar and Erik) beat three ninjas. After the match, Akira Tozawa and the tall ninja get in the ring. The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders huddle, then they bring out Big Show. Big Show makes quick work of the ninjas as Tozawa and the tall ninja retreat.
Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Seth Rollins, who says that he has seen Dominick, who is here against his father Rey Mysterio's wishes, and that he knows he is here and wants him here so he can send a message.
Backstage, Christian is on the phone. He says he does not know what to do, but he cannot let Randy Orton "get away with this one."
Seth Rollins shows up. Rollins talks about his invitation to Raw that he put out to Rey Mysterio so he could clear the air with him, as Rey Mysterio is a hero who sacrificed himself for the greater good and future of Raw. He then says that Rey "took the coward's way out" and declined, and that Dominick has answered on Rey's behalf. Suddenly, Rey is on the TitanTron. Rey says he did not know what Dominick was doing until it was too late, and warns Rey of something. Rollins says he wants to hep Dominck, not hurt him, as Dominick is already part of the greater good. Rollins then implores Rey to let Dominick join him, but Rey tells Rollins that he will not join him under any circumstances. Rollins says this leaves him few options, and if Dominick is part of the problem, he must be sacrificed. Rey tells Rollins that he will end him if he or his disciples lay a hand on Dominick, but Rollins says Dominick is an adult who has a choice of either joining him or becoming a sacrifice just like Rey. Suddenly, Dominick runs into the ring and attacks Rollins from behind. He then runs into the ring and outsmarts Murphy and Austin Theory, running to the back from over the timekeeper's area and behind the barricade.
Backstage, R-Truth meets up with MVP and Bobby Lashley. R-Truth tells Lashley he feels bad for him being sent to "Claymore Country" and having to divorce Lana, then leaves when Lashley says he doesn't see Drew McIntyre anywhere nearby.
Backstage, MVP and Bobby Lashley find R-Truth trying to run away from a ninja who is underneath the ring, then Drew McIntyre shows up. MVP tells McIntyre he is a pretender while Lashley is a contender. McIntyre tells Lashley that MVP is all talk and false promise after false promise, but MVP tells McIntyre that he would put his title on the line if he had any integrity, and expects R-Truth to do the same. R-Truth accepts the challenge. McIntyre, hesitant at first, also accepts MVP's "winner-take-all" challenge. He is irritated at R-Truth, who says he might be the next "Becky Two Belts," then tells R-Truth that is not how it works.
The IIconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce) beat Liv Morgan and Natalya. After the match, The IIconics call out Bayley and Sasha and challenge them to a tag team championship match. When they fail to show up, they say they know somebody who can make the match official for next week so they can take the Women's tag team titles.
Backstage, Christian meets with Big Show, who says that Randy Orton wants an unsanctioned match so he can do whatever he wants to him, and tells him he has a chance to either step back or tell Orton he is not a punk. Christian says he knows what he must do.
Backstage, Natalya blames Liv Morgan for their loss, and says it makes sense why Ruby Riott let her go. Liv Morgan walks away as Natalya says there is no gratitude or appreciation for her efforts. Lana shows up and mentions what she is going through, and says she is sick and tired of being blamed for everyone's shortcomings. Natalya says she knows exactly how Lana feels.
Charly Caruso interviews Christian on the stage. Christian says Orton accused him of being jealous and trying to replace Edge, and while he is proud of his WWE career and has nothing to prove, he will not be disrespected. If Orton wants one more match, he accepts.
Backstage, MVP meets with Apollo Crews, who says there is a difference between a fighting champion and a smart champion, as a smart champion fights the right person for the right time for the right amount of money. He tells Crews that he will burn out and become a former champion being a fighting champion, and offers his managerial services to help him find the right opponents. Crews says if he is not a fighting champion, he is not a champion at all, and declines. MVP tells Crews that the only way he will stay champion is with him in his corner.
Backstage, Charlotte Flair talks with "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, who wants to know what Charlotte planned next.
Apollo Crews beats Shelton Benjamin after using the middle rope for leverage after Shelton gets caught using the ropes for leverage earlier in the match.
Backstage, Akira Tozawa and his ninjas confront R-Truth, but they move away when Drew McIntyre shows up. McIntyre asks R-Truth if he understands the gravity of their situation, saying that they could lose everything. R-Truth says he understands, then tells McIntyre "You know what to do."
Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Asuka. Asuka says that Nia Jax started this fight, but she will finish it.
Backstage, R-Truth meets with Drew McIntyre, who says that only the WWE Championship will be on the line. McIntyre says he knows he cannot be pinned to lose the championship, but Truth says he will not let that happen.
Backstage, The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) and The Viking Raiders (Ivar and Erik) try to come up with a sixth game for their series. Big Show shows up and comes up with an idea for ending their best-of series: putting the Raw tag team titles on the line in the ring. Big Show then adds a little bit of song and dance to "We want the smoke."
R-Truth and Drew McIntyre beat MVP and Bobby Lashley with a tag team rocket launcher finish to MVP. Drew McIntyre retains the WWE Championship.
Backstage, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair meets with Christian. He says he knows why Christian is doing what he is doing, but warns him that he is not ready and that Randy Orton is mean, sadistic and wants to prove a point. Christian says he respects Ric, but he cannot forgive what Orton has said and that he will not regret it, either.
Bayley and Sasha Banks show up. Bayley brags about their tag team title win last week and says that they are in the mood to celebrate, but they have more to celebrate as today is her birthday. She announces a whole birthday celebration week starting with their appearance tonight followed by their match against Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart on NXT before finishing strong at SmackDown. Sasha tells The IIconics that they will defend the Women's Tag Team Championships on their time, then The IIconics show up. Billie Kay says nobody wants to hear their resume and demands an answer to their challenge. Bayley reminds them that they lost and that they will always win regardless of how many teams are put in front of them. The IIconics make fun of Bayley and Sasha having their own separate meltdowns after they beat them at WrestleMania, then Peyton says they can't handle the pressure. Sasha confronts Peyton only to get slapped. This results in Bayley accepting their challenge.

Asuka retains the WWE Raw Women's Championship against Nia Jax. During the match, Nia Jax shoves referee John Cone when told that Asuka's foot is beneath the bottom rope. As she is about to be disqualified, Asuka scores the win with a schoolkid pin and what appears to be a fast count.
Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Randy Orton, who says that for what it is worth, Christian is a legend and that with no rules or regulations, the legend of Christian will be destroyed in a few short minutes by the RKO.

Before the next match begins, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair shows up and says he has talked to Edge. He tells Christian to let it go and tells Randy Orton to cut Christian some slack, but Christian tells Ric he has to do this. All of a sudden, Ric Flair hits Christian with a low blow and leaves, then Orton hits Christian with the trademark punt. Orton then turns Christian around and pins him. Randy Orton beats Christian in an unsanctioned match. After the match, Orton tells Christian that he did not want to do this and tells the medical staff who get into the ring to take care of Christian. Orton then tells Christian he did not want to write his last chapter, but he had to do what he had to because this is his livelihood and he cannot let him interrupt or destroy it.
