Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling presented by PRO Shingle recap for April 4, 2020

Dustin Starr has his birthday cake early at the start of the show to ensure there is no cake-related incidents during the show's one-year anniversary.

Jordan Clearwater beats Richie Slade.

CWFH Minority Owner and head matchmaker Nikko Marquez is in the ring. He says that nobody has the responsibilities that he has, and in his hand is the greatest acquisition that CWFH has ever seen and he has ever signed. He says that he had to call Billy Corgan to make this happen, then introduces Zicky Dice, who previously stated that he would never return to CWFH again. Nikko calls Zicky Dice "the hottest name in professional wrestling" as he welcomes him back. After the commercial break, Nikko calls bringing Zicky Dice back the best decision he has made all year, then brings out Zicky's opponent for tonight: Gentleman Jervis. Before the match begins, Zicky Dice says that this is his time and it won't be rainbows anymore, for Jervis' time is over. Zicky then welcomes Jervis to "the end."

Zicky Dice beats Gentleman Jervis by submission with an ankle lock after Jervis hurts his knee on the Bunny Hop Drop and Dice targets it. After the match, Zicky Dice continues to attack Gentleman Jervis, injure his knee and rip Jervis' mask off.

Watts quickly beats Action Braxton. After the match, Watts kicks Braxton out of the ring, then says there is an NWA legend in the building right now who ran roughshod over CWFH ten years ago and wants to call him out. He then introduces Rasche Brown to the ring. Brown says it is good to be back in CWFH, and when he left, Watts was coming in, and Watts has dominated ever since. He then addresses talk of a comeback, and says there is no better place to do it than in CWFH. He admits he is far from being championship material at this point, but for now, he is celebrating Watts and his championship reign. Watts says he will still be champion when that day comes, and that he is looking forward to it.

Backstage, John Roberts interviews Levi Shapiro and Howdy Price. Howdy says he does not like wear and tear and that he wants things that are fresh and smelling like money. He calls Shapiro "his best investment" and says that when you have a good investment, you invest further. He gives Shapiro a new leather glove, and says that soon, there will be a nice, shiny belt to go along with it.

Backstage, John Roberts interviews Dan Joseph. Joseph says he has a strategy for Levi Shapiro's iron claw, as he has been tightening the screws for that glove. He is also watching for the hands of Howdy Price, saying he has something for him if he gets involved again.

Before the next match, Howdy Price demands that everything be ready for when Levi Shapiro becomes United Television Champion.

Dan Joseph retains the United Television Championship following the distraction by Buddy Royal after Levi Shapiro loads his glove with a foreign object. After the match, Buddy Royal calls Levi Shapiro for using a loaded glove, and if Shapiro wants to cheat, he will be there to cut him off. He says that best friends make better enemies, and declares war on Shapiro.

Backstage, John Roberts interviews the team of Ray Rosas, Andy Brown and Adrian Quest, now officially known as Static. Rosas says he has the PP3 Cup, saying he can take the Heritage title any time he wants, and as of right now, he owns Watts. He says that Watts is at his mercy, and when the time comes, there will be a new champion.

Backstage, John Roberts interviews Anthony Idol and The Wolf Zaddies (Che Cabrera and Bad Dude Tito). Cabrera says they handled business and got rid of Vermin, and now they want tag team gold. Tito says Brown and Quest have a pair of hungry wolves after them and they look like a snack. Idol says Ray Rosas cared enough when he cheated his way to the PP3 Cup and brought Andy Brown and Adrian Quest with him, and says that Rosas will start caring when he gets his hands on him, for it is all about revenge now.

Anthony Idol and The Wolf Zaddies (Che Cabrera and Bad Dude Tito) beat Static (Ray Rosas, Andy Brown, Adrian Quest). At the start of the match, Static heads to the back, but Idol and the Zaddies follow them to the back and beat them in grand style.

Maria and Dustin Starr make a toast at the end of the episode, and there is another cake at the table.
