WrestleMania 36 - Part 1 - The LIVE Results

It is announced that there will be a one-on-one-on-one Triple Threat ladder match for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships, as The Miz is officially out for WrestleMania.

We see a music video by The Miz and John Morrison where they mock The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) and The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E).

Cesaro beats Drew Gulak with an airplane spin when he cannot use the Neutralizer due to his arm getting hurt during the match.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews King Corbin. Corbin says he only regrets not using a road case instead of his scepter, then says he ended Elias' career like he did Kurt Angle's before mocking Elias' singing with a harmonica.

Stephanie McMahon welcomes everyone to this year's WrestleMania. She states that every WrestleMania has its own identity, and due to the current world situation, this year's will be no different. She hopes that this year's show provides a diversion and offers a sense of hope, persistence and determination while entertaining the entire family during this trying time.

The show starts with a medley of past performances of America The Beautiful from past WrestleManias.

Rob Gronkowski welcomes the audience to the first night of this year's WrestleMania. Mojo Rawley also joins Gronk during the introduction.

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross beat The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) to become WWE Women's Tag Team Champions for the second time.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro. Sami Zayn says it is not inevitable that he will lose the WWE Intercontinental Championship to Daniel Bryan, as everyone thought that Braun Strowman could not beat him, Nakamura and Cesaro. He says that he knows what the fans want and that the fans feel it is inevitable, but it is not happening because the three of them are thinkers and they have a plan, and he will walk out as Intercontinental Champion.

King Corbin shows up, and says that Elias is nowhere to be found after he knocked him off the Performance Center balcony last week. He brags that it felt good to knock Elias off the balcony, and that it will feel even greater when he gets his second WrestleMania win in a row. He then demands the referee count to ten so that he can win by forfeit. Suddenly, Elias' guitar is heard. Elias suddenly shows up, and when Corbin charges at him, Elias kicks him in the gut and smashes his guitar into Corbin's back before attacking him and getting him in the ring. The match then starts.

Elias beats King Corbin after grabbing the tights during a roll-up after Corbin is caught using the ropes for leverage during a pinfall attempt.

Becky Lynch pulls up to the arena in a Becky-Lynch themed 18-wheeler and goes in prior to the next match.

Becky Lynch retains the WWE Raw Women's Championship against "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler after pinning Baszler's shoulders to the mat to counter the Kirifuda Clutch.

Sami Zayn retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Daniel Bryan after booting Daniel - who has just hit Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura with a tope suicida - out of the air.

John Morrison retains the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships against Kofi Kingston and Jimmy Uso in a chaotic Triple Threat Tag Team Ladder Match. At the end of the match, Kofi, Morrison and Jimmy Uso also fight over the titles and bring them down at the same time, but when they knock Morrison off, the tag team titles come down with him, leading him to retain the titles.

Kevin Owens beats Seth Rollins by disqualification after Rollins hits him with the ring bell...almost. After the match, Owens calls Rollins' actions those "of a little bitch" instead of a god, then tells him to get in the ring so they can finish this in a no-disqualification, no rules match. Rollins accepts the challenge.

Kevin Owens beats Seth Rollins in a no-disqualification, no rules match with a Stunner in the middle of the ring shortly after diving off the WrestleMania sign and elbow dropping Seth Rollins through the announce table.

R-Truth meets up with Mojo Rawley and Rob Gronkowski and talks about being 24/7 Champion, then asks if he can be kept hidden on the balcony. This ends with Gronk and Mojo fighting over the 24/7 Championship, and Mojo Rawley pins R-Truth to win the title for the seventh time.

Backstage, Paul Heyman interrupts Charly Caruso, saying that Drew McIntyre should be scared of being exposed as a "big bitch wanna-be" who is trying to fill Brock Lesnar's shoes and can't. He says that he has succeeded in proving how unique Brock Lesnar truly is, saying that Brock is a "super-being" and that McIntyre cannot do anything about it except leave WrestleMania beaten and conquered by Brock Lesnar.

Braun Strowman beats Goldberg to win the WWE Universal Championship after three powerslams and a running powerslam after Goldberg hits four Spears.

The Undertaker beats "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match after booting him into an empty grave and burying him with dirt from a bulldozer.
