It is announced that Goldberg will now defend the WWE Universal Championship against Braun Strowman. (In reality, Roman Reigns has had to pull out of the match due to being immuno-compromised due to his recent bout with leukemia, which put him at higher risk for COVID-19.)
Backstage, Otis tells Tucker that Dolph Ziggler is his at WrestleMania and to save him a piece. Tucker tells Otis that Mandy Rose had recently asked about him. Suddenly, Otis' phone goes off, and Otis has to take a call.
Tucker beats Dolph Ziggler by disqualification after hitting Tucker with a Zig Zag on the steel steps. After the match, Ziggler is about to hit Tucker with the steel steps when Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville tell him to stop. Otis then runs out. As Otis runs in and checks on Tucker, static - which has been seen at intermittent times once per week for the last few months - shows up, followed by the words "The Truth Will be Heard" being shown on-screen. Afterwards, a man in a black hoodie sitting in front of a group of computer monitors turns around, his face never shown, and he says that the truth will be heard. With the tap of a key, we then see security camera footage where it is revealed that Sonya Deville made the text to Otis, and that Sonya set up the date with Ziggler and Mandy. Mandy walks away from Sonya, who pleads with her, then Otis chases Ziggler to the back.
Backstage, Sonya Deville catches up to Mandy Rose, who wants nothing to do with her following what has just happened.
Sami Zayn guests on commentary for the next match.
Daniel Bryan beats Shinsuke Nakamura by disqualification after Cesaro gets involved. After the match, Drew Gulak attacks Cesaro, but he is overpowered, as is Daniel Bryan. Cesaro then hits Daniel Bryan with a Neutralizer before Nakamura hits Daniel with a Kinshasa. Sami Zayn then hits Daniel with a Helluva Kick out of the corner.
John Cena shows up. Cena says that the continuance of performance with no live audience has been a bit of a gamble, and thanks the fans for allowing WWE into their homes up until the final minutes of the final broadcast before "an unprecedented WrestleMania." He says that WrestleMania will be the most watched and most talked-about event of the weekend, as nobody knows what will happen. He also admits he cannot find out what a Firefly Fun House match is and that Bray Wyatt probably has no idea, either. He then says that The Fiend wants this uncertainty, as uncertainty leads to panic, panic leads to fear and fear leads to collapse and The Fiend thrives on uncertainty, fear and panic. He then tells the fans, who are wondering what will happen next, that he will not panic, that he is not afraid, and that he will end what Bray Wyatt started six years ago as Bray is nowhere near his level. He says that "a bootleg version of Mr. Rogers" does not stand a chance, and calls The Fiend the loved child of an "oversexed Wiz Khalifa" and Michigan J. Frog, and that The Fiend will lose despite all of his advantages. Cena then accepts the challenge of a Firefly Fun House Match. Ramblin' Rabbit shows up and says that after The Fiend is done with Cena, he will play with The Fiend forever. Huskus, Abby and Mercy then join in the "forever" chant, then The Fiend appears. The Fiend is then on the balcony, and as he and Cena stare at each other, Bray Wyatt shows up from behind Cena and says "Let me in." The lights go out, and when they come back on, everyone except Cena is gone.
