"The Machine" Brian Cage retains the Impact Wrestling X Division Championship against Fenix with a powerbomb from the top rope. After the match, oVe (Jake Crist, Dave Crist, Sami Callihan) run into the ring and attack both Pentagon Jr. and Fenix. Cage considers not getting involved, but changes his mind and fends off all three men. After oVe retreats, Cage raises both Fenix and Pentagon Jr.'s hands.

Bobo cannot get past the front gate, but thanks to "The Smoke Show" Scarlett Bordeaux's powers of seduction, he can.

The GWN Flashback Moment of the Week is the Impact Wrestling debut of Drew Galloway.

At The OG'z (King, Homicide, Hernandez) hideout, Hernandez feels guilt about Richie being run over, but King warns him not to get soft, that this is a warzone, Richie is a casualty of war and that Richie should not have been there in the first place. He says that The OG'z need to band together, then the phone rings. King tells Homicide and Hernandez not to make any moves until he gives them the green light. Homicide and Hernandez are concerned about what is going on.

Impact Wrestling vs. The UK at Wrestling Mediacon 2018 is live at 5 PM UK time (12 PM Eastern) September 9th on Twitch at twitch.tv/impactwrestling!

Alicia interviews Tessa Blanchard, who says that she has felt pressure since the day she was born to uphold the Blanchard family name after everything her father and grandfather have done in the wrestling business. Tonight, it is all about the Impact Wrestling Knockouts Championship, and that while this may be enough for some people, that is not enough for her unless she takes home the gold.

Eli Drake shows up. For the last couple of weeks, The Cult of Lee (Trevor Lee and Caleb Konley) have been following him around, but he insists that he is not friends with them and was only at commentary last week to see them lose. He then brings out two local wrestlers - Mr. Atlantis and Brandon Tidwell, the men who beat The Cult of Lee last week - out to the ring, and after getting their names, Eli Drake tells them they have one more test in front of them before they can become full-fledged Impact Wrestling superstars: one of them has to face a former World champion like him. Mr. Atlantis volunteers, and Eli Drake chooses Brandon Tidwell as his opponent instead. This starts a match that ends all too quickly when Eli Drake hits the Gravy Train on Tidwell in less than a minute. After the match, Eli Drake demands that the fans cheer for Tidwell, then shakes Mr. Atlantis' hand before hitting him with the Gravy Train as well.

Alicia interviews Moose and Eddie Edwards. Moose says Austin Aries two mistakes: sending him to the hospital with a concussion and messing with family in Eddie Edwards. He tells Eddie he has his back. Eddie says Austin Aries may have shown his back-up and insurance plan, but that's all right, as Moose means more to him than the kendo stick in his hands. He then says the vision of cracking Austin Aries in the skull with Moose is what he has been waiting for, and he would not have it any other way.

Tessa Blanchard beats Allie and Su Yung with a schoolgirl on Allie after grabbing the tights whie Allie goes for a Figure Four Leg Lock on Su Yung to become the Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion! Backstage, Tessa says she has exposed Allie for everything that she was while taking the title from Su Yung and there is nothinga nybody can do about it. She tells everyone in the locker room to take notice, as she is the new measuring stick, and if anyone wants to see how hard a diamond is, they can be her guest.

Backstage, Gama Singh - who has a broom in his hand - finds The Desi Hit Squad (Rohit Raju and Gursinder Singh) and hits them with the broom for disgracing India and disgracing his name, telling them to win the tag team titles by any means necessary.

Alicia interviews Austin Aries and Killer Kross. Kross says that from backstage to the ring is a long walk and that not many people make it over there as a lot of bad things can happen. Aries says his new alliance with Killer Kross is turning everything upside down, as nobody is safe, and Eddie Edwards found that out first-hand. All of a sudden, Moose shows up tos ave him, and sticks his nose in their business. Aries says that last time they crossed paths, he dropped Moose on his head and sent him to the hospital, and implies that worse will happen this time. Aries goes on to say they are the new force around here, that they are changing Impact Wrestling and that there is nothing anybody can do about it.

At The Latin-American XChange's (Konnan, Santana, Ortiz) clubhouse, Santana and Ortiz know that their war with The OG'z (King, Hernandez, Homicide) is not over, and it is revealed that Richie is in the hospital. Konnan says that The OG'z do not respect "the G code:" no kids, no families. He says that King does not care about jthe code, and asks them to take care of Richie's family's hospital bill. All of a sudden, Konnan gets a phone call, and Konnan, just like King to Homicide and Hernandez, tells them not to make any moves until anything is greenlit. Santana says they have to strike, but Ortiz asks him to stick to Konnan's sudden new plan.

Backstage, Grado, Joe Hendry and Katarina are the guests on The Smoke Show with "The Smoke Show" Scarlett Bordeaux. Katarina is reluctant at first, but changes her mind after being kissed on the cheeks by Bordeaux. Joe Hendry and Katarina explain what is going on, then Scarlett whispers something into Grado's ear. Grado panics, then runs away, and Joe Hendry runs after him. Scarlett then tries to give Katarina some advice about men, but Katarina tells Scarlett not to come between her and the boys before leaving. Scarlett says she thinks she already did.

Rich Swann beats "The Canadian Destroyer" Petey Williams.

Backstage, Rich Swann says he got a victory over an X Division pioneer, and if he can get a few more victories, he will be on his way to the X Division Championship. All of a sudden, "Reborn" Matt Sydal shows up, telling Swann he has the right attitud, but tells him that only he can help navigate these waters as he will have a target on his back and he will not know where he is going. He tells Swann he can help him, but Swann tells him does not need his help. All of a sudden, Alisha Edwards finds Moose knocked out on the ground, and Killer Kross' red calling card is on the ground next to him.

Eddie Edwards vs. Austin Aries and Killer Kross in a 2-on-1 handicap match ends in a no-contest. During the match, Moose's head is bandaged up, and as Aries tries to tag Killer Kross in, Kross drops off the apron. Moose is about to beat up Aries when he turns around and hits Eddie Edwards with a Spear. As soon as this happens, Aries and Kross are seen laughing, revealing this to be a set-up against Eddie Edwards. Moose then takes the bandages off of his head as Austin Aries tosses the referee out of the ring, and Mosse proceeds to pound on Eddie Edwards. Moose tossed Edwards out of the ring, and Killer Kross puts a steel chair around Eddie's neck before Moose takes another steel chair and smacks it into the legs of the other chair. Alisha Edwards shows up and checks on Eddie, then confronts Moose and slaps him. Aries holds Moose back, and he, Moose and Kross celebrate their path of destruction to end the show.
